Hi,   My default user login is  "Administrator". I want to create multiple user logins with different credentials(eg. User-Sheetal password-Sheetal@1234567). And how can i give permissions to access them.   I have created user, also organization and assigned user in organization. Hello,  I have used collection widget and mapped info table to collection widget Data. I have mentioned the name of mashup in mashup field. I cannot see the mashup parameter in properties. How can i map info table fields to mashup parameter. As in repeater widget it shows all fields in properties. How can i achieve that using collection widget. MashupPropertyBinding:{"id":"Projectid","Name":"ProjectName"}.MashupGlobalPropertyBinding:{"Projectid":"String", "ProjectName":"String"}.

Hi,    It is my first experience with TW Analytics, I am trying to upload a PMML model version 4.3 from third part. I created a Provider using the 'AnalyticsServerConnector' but when I upload the model from file using 'Analysis Models' I get the error: 'Invalid Model' and on the ApplicationLog says: 'Unable to deploy model to TW.AnalysisServices.AnalyticsServer.AnalyticsServerConnector'.  Do you know if I might solve that problem or if it is for sure a PMML model problem of compatibility?   Kiund regards, Marco

"ThingWorx-Platform-Full-Installer-postgres-Windows-8-5-0 (802 MB)" gives a password error though the password matches the strength and the installation is terminated. This is an installer for Thingworx + Flow.    Kindly suggest a solution or if this is a release error. We have entered a password strength of more than 20 characters.  

      Hello guys, i have a problem, for 2 days i am trying to install ThingWorx Foundation, but i got the same error every time. I tried to install it on a fresh windows 7 and 2 times on windows 10 , both fresh install, i have installed java JDK 8, i tried also with JDK 13, i have put the path in Enviorment Variables but still no success. You can see the errors in the pictures attached below. If you have any idea why this is hapening i would appreciate it.        Thank you very much ! Have a good day/night.

Hey community,we wanted to update our runnig THingworx 8.4 to 8.5 so I had to test everything local on my computer before we update the runnig system.I got the tomcat version 9 and intalled it all, everything is working ... I thought.I wanted to put our customizations in my lokal system and I got some import error. I went to monitoring, to monitoring and to the ApplicationLogg to see what is going on.I found there 2 error messeges that are coming in every minute and I don´t know what is going on there.The first one is "Connection to localhost:5432 refused. Check that the hostname and port are correct and that the postmaster is accepting TCP/IP connections." and I don´t know what is about localhost:5432, because there is nothing running on this port and with 8.4 I did not had this error.The secoud one is "Error Executing Event Handler 'RunScheduler' for event Type.Thing:Entity.PTC.SCA.SCO.KPIScheduler:Event.ScheduledEvent" Maybe someone has an idea what I did wrong or wha

Hi Guys, I'm a beginner with ThingWorx, and have an application where an operator scans in a serial number of a device in need of service, and that number populates a serial number field on a current mashup which then follows the repair ticket through it's process.   Any ideas on how I should start this development?  At the moment there is a drop down picker which populates a required service.  Each service has it's own serial number code which automatically fills in that field and cannot be edited.  I would like the have the user select a " repair " option which will then allow them to scan in a serial number which will populate the serial number field.    Thanks,

I am having a strange twofold issue with the collection widget in one of my mashups in ThingWorx. The first issue is that I have to press the refresh button for the collection widget to display all of the desired mashups (some of them do not appear). The second and more important issue is that when scrolling, some of the mashups within the widget drop out and go blank. They can come in and out as you scroll back and forth.The data in the widget is coming from a SQL server with a number of services calling it. I'm not sure if that's part of the issue. 

Hi all,    I have a drop down widget that displays 3 items. These 3 items are defined in a data shape. I have large size csv.   It hasn't datetime info and many items and rows.   So I will input parameter Start time and interval time.   My code is VS C#.   I thin it will make store memory added time information by start time and interval.   and then send stream to Thingworx.   Can someone please tell me the ideal way?     Currently my code is sending data based on one row of csv so it takes too long time.   I want to create it like a double buffering.   I want to send it to the stream at once without sending it several times.   Isn't it possible or is there a better way?   I would appreciate your reply.          

What is the difference between ThingWorx-Platform-Postgres-8-3-9(Thingworx composer) and ThingWorx Edge? Also if i need to connect Thingworx composer to Mysql server should i use "ThingWorx PostgreSQL" or is there and other version ideally suitable.

Hello,   I have installed Thingworx Platform 8.5 along with Flow using the bundle(.exe file ThingWorx-Platform-Full-Installer-postgres-Windows-8-5-0) downloaded from the http://support.ptc.com.   I searched for installation document which follows the same bundle(.exe file ThingWorx-Platform-Full-Installer-postgres-Windows-8-5-0), whatever file am browsing is following the old method of manual installation of Tomcat and .war file deployment. These are not relevant for the .exe type of installation.   Where can I find the right installation document for flow.   I`m done with the installation successfully could also able to load Flow and Composer. But i could not able to create workflow service in Thingworx, showing 404 error in the flow canvas panel.   While checking Application log it is showing a fatal error for the user twadmin.   I could not able to troubleshoot it thereafter.   Kindly send me the document if any,     Regards, Janakir

I am working with windows 10.  "ThingWorx-Platform-Postgres-8-3-9".   I did the installation as specified in the guide. The Tomcat server was working fine until,  i pasted the  "Thingworx.war" in  "C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 8.5\webapps". I want to install asset Advisor. I found document about asset Adivsor installation. but I don't know where these(photos) are.   I expanded the following folders: ThingWorx Platform ▶ Release 8.4   but I didn't find Manufacturing Apps Extension or ThingWorx Service Apps Extension.   If I missed anything, please let me know something.

i have used a file upload widget and upload a .csv file but i'm unable to display the data in a grid. unable to write the exact service.

I have a service that returns child nodes bound to the childData param in an advanced tree grid and I'm having trouble getting it to work.    With the regular tree grid, there is a "getChildren" action to bind to the service, but the advanced one does not have it. It seems to fire my service, but I can't figure out how to bind the id of the row clicked. It also does not seem to actually "run" the service so I can't bind anything else to the result of that service or invoke anything else upon service completion.    It also seems like the selectedRow parameter only returns the visible fields in the grid, I'm interested in the ID field which is not visible. Anyone found a good workaround? I tried using a service that finds it given the selectedRow and the full data set, but I can't get the full data set because of the children issue above.    Has anyone figured out how to work this thing yet? 

I too am have not been successful connecting to the thingworx simulation.  I have followed the instructions perfectly and when trying to start the simulation it tells me to check my port.  Have tried port 80 and 443 with secure box checked.  Same issue.  Frustrating and time consuming.   Re:  post  

Hello all.   I have two mashups (mash1 and mash2) and a home mashup (homemash). I want to put in the home mashup , a layout with an unique row with a collection widget inside. I need, based in an expression result, to show mash1 or mash2. There is some way to do this, programatically? Wich properties do I need change?   Thanks.

Hi everyone, I have a mashup that displays similarly like a login/form page. I have placed several text field widgets in the mashup (e.g. Name, ID, Model Number). The texts written in all the widgets will be used as queries to my json data. May I know are there any available methods to address this?

We have problems with event handling lately.   We try to actively avoid subscriptions between different Things. (we use me.Event subscription as much as we can, so it would not enter EventSubsystem at all). If that is not possible we are using AsyncServices so services would be handled inside separate threads.  Normally we are having like 100-200 events (submitedTaskCounts) per second which I think is not a lot.
