Hi Community, I need to check the Attachments table on launched streams.How can I find out how many files are in the table from Expression? I will check the number of files that need to be uploaded according to this quantity.For example, in the task step, the user needs to upload 3 PDFs, but he uploaded only one. How can I prevent that task from closing by having it checked?

We have a BOM where all the child parts has attachment to them. Would like to download all the child parts attachment, is there any ways to download them instead of navigating to individual attachment.

The PDF's of the drawings are being published in Windchill completely outside the format we use in CREO drawings. The font of the letters, their size, the color, everything is outside the standard we use, and we don't know how to solve this problem.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.2 and Datecode with CPS 11.2.1.8getting an error message saying Windchill workgroup manager has become unstable. Tried to unregister the previous application but this message persists. did an uninstall, removed wgm folder from c:\programdata\ptc\wgm folder and reinstalled WGM 11.2.1.8 but when the normal user runs the program they get this message. If i run this program with my admin account, i do not get the error. It seems this comes up with a different user account only. I tried reviewing Article - CS218844 and Article - CS228538 had a good suggestion but i recieve a different DLL error. Tried to run regasm.exe /u "C:\Program Files\PTC\wgm\x86e_win64\obj\sw2019adapter_clnt.dll" but that did not work. Any other ideas

I want to create a new FMEA Worksheet table format for new/future system files, but retain the old version for ongoing projects. The documentation I've found isn't clear if creating a new table format revision will lock the DATA in the "old" tables, or just lock the FORMAT of the old tables. Ongoing projects will need to be editable for a few years yet. I don't want to have a bunch of different date stamped table formats defined for different system files as we evolve our configuration. Any ideas?

I am trying to use the PartRepresentation loader in the csvmapfile.txt definition to load a representation to a WTPart. However I cannot get it to load. I always get an exception. This is a generic problem but one that I face now and then moving code changes through GIT and wanted to get your thoughts. I have some integrations where properties files store the connection information to that other database. That database will be different for Dev/Test and production so that file needs to have the right connection information. Just recently, I have changes to my security labels and am calling out a group for Agreement Managers. That org tied to that group is different in my Dev server and my production server. Obviously, this needs to be changed during deployment.  As I moved toward more automated deployment methods, how based do we handle these server specific file alterations? I am considering moving many of these specific parameters to an .xconf file and out of the GIT repo. This will take some refactoring. The securityLabelsConfiguration.xml is another story. I would like understand how to record a serial number vs a date in effectivity.  So how do you add an Effectivity Type other than a Date and the qualifier can be specific serial number. We are using Windchill 12.1

When using the Windchill REST API, I am limited to receiving only 25 records by default due to the stiptoken=25 parameter. However, I want to retrieve all the data, so how can I remove the stiptoken parameter via the API? Can you assist me with this?

We have some CAD Documents that have been renumbered with an appended "-O" before their file suffix, i.e. "12345.CATPart" renumbered to "12345-O.CATPart" to avoid conflicts during an old migration. When we add a CATProduct with this file in its structure to a workspace through a WGM on a machine with CATIA V5 installed, the downloaded CAD data is updated and the structure reflects the renumber when we open it in CATIA. However, when we add to a workspace through WGM on a machine without CATIA installed and attempt to open the file in Enovia, the structure does not reflect the renumbered objects and tells the user that there are missing files.  This seems to have started after our upgrade to 12.1.2.6, though it's possible it was happening before and users just never reported/noticed it, as unlikely as that seems. Can anyone confirm that CATIA is required to be installed when downloading the content for the CAD data to be updated with the renumbered references? 

Our company is running Creo 8.0.6.0 with WindchillStandalone Windchill via Chrome, no problems.Windchill window on Chrome, laptop computer, laptop display, no problems.Windchill window on Chrome, laptop computer, extended to second monitor display, display problem.On the Creo browser (Chrome) There is a second Windchill window appearing atop the first Windchill window.  (See image) Also, if I am on the laptop screen and I drag the window over to the external monitor, then the problem shows up..

Hello, I need information on how we can create Program in Windchill using loadfile.

I am attempting to change the name and number of a WTDocument via SQL. It is my understanding that these values are shared across all iterations of a WTDocument and the values are saved in WTDocumentMaster. However, when I update the column of WTDocumentMaster, those changes do not reflect on Windchill. I also receive a persistence error when attempting to edit these documents via the UI. Is there any guidance as to how I can get the document name and numbers updated without causing issue?
