Hi all, We are running Windchill 11.0 and I know it isn't supported anymore so figured I'd ask here. We had a user leave the company and are trying to access his workspaces etc to check back in all the work he had checked out. We have admin access both site and org level. We can also see his workspaces but we are unable to open them and it appears all we can do is delete them. Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this and how to fix it?  Thanks

  I recently was requested is there a way to email documents from a WC container out and use client mail service? I wanted to pick our collective brains first, attached I made concept of how it could work? a NEW Email button?I notice WC has a email button in Teams containers so the function does exist. Right now our project leads are downloading files to a network drive so they can gather them up for vendor quotes, I believe this is extra work for them and we have a potential loss of data.And saving files outside on the network which defeats the purpose of WC. If files are shore on the network drive then who's to say the latest revisions can be?these files are in PDF formats to represent the drawings.we can not use desktop integration on our network any thoughts?

How to get object identifier  of workflow object on windchill object in 11.0 Ver  ?if we just enter  a part / document number , we should be able to see workflow process assignment , creator details , etc .? what exactly is missing is the how to get object identifier of any process associated with the object ? since if that is done we can fetch other details probably .  

We are preparing to upgrade our Thingworx Doc Viewer cluster platform to Thingworx Navigate 9.4.  Wondering if we have High Availability architecture supported for Thingworx Navigate platform 9.4 or it is in the roadmap?

We just rolled out new security labels and it took 6 hours for first issues to appear. Perhaps I need to dial back some of the configuration. We added a new label that has restrictions requiring an agreement to allow access. In testing we found that creators could set the label value to one of the restricted values and poof, the document would disappear on them since they would not have access.  I guess same is true for sync robots and set state robots.   A user was creating a change notice and set the security label to that restricted value. This caused ALL set state robots to abort when executing since that change notice was not accessible. From what I know, the state change causes sync robots that are listening to be checked and this CN was inaccessible due to that restricted value.  wcadmin is part of the group that can see all values so it should not have been restricted. Does this mean the workflow was executing as the creator user? Possibly.  Sure enough

I need help writing some code that will tell me who has accepted an activity task (but may not have completed that task yet). The code needs to run in a Workflow expression bot. I want to send an email to only that person. The task may have initially been assigned to 5 people, then one person accepts the task. If no one has accepted then the email will go to all 5.We are using Windchill 12.

I used the method com.ptc.windchill.mpml.processplan.operation.MPMOperationToPartLink.newMPMOperationToPartLink(MPMOperation operation, WTPartMaster partMaster) howeveran error message apears that ComponentIdPath is null. I have WTPart associated with EPMDocument with Owner link. I want to navigate from EPMDocument to the WTPart via the EPMBuildRule link using following code.   QueryResult result2 = PersistenceHelper.manager.navigate(epmDoc, EPMBuildRule.BUILD_TARGET_ROLE, EPMBuildRule.class, true);   But the query results is always empty.  Tried different values for the second parameter but no result.    Windchill version - 11.2.1

Hi,I'm exploring Options and Variants area of Windchill. It's going fine but it seems that when you end up with an unused or even never assigned choices there's no way to delete them. As soon as you check-in the Option Set containing such choices then whenever you try to delete it you end up with an error saying that it's tied to an Option Set (or part, whatever).According to CS107727 this is fine... Since you usually have plenty of Parts (or modules) tied to an Option Set it is kind of impossible to detach them in order to delete the latest iteration of an Option Set. So the question is...how to manage this? Cause after a while you'll end up with lots of unused choices you can't delete...   

I have a custom tab to show part instances. I want to assign serial numbers to customers and added an attribute to do so, but I can't show those values in a column under part instances. Is there anyway to add the column to the menu?
