Is there a report or another process to see that all parts in all VC groups have been consumed in parts list. the parts lists are added to the publication structure.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS M010-CPS02I have been asked by our business to provide them with the capability to reassign workflow tasks to another user. They asked for Product Manager role membership at first but we would first like to see if this is a permission that can be granted granularly rather than giving the full role membership. I have already researched this and found that it cannot be done due to this functionality being hard coded into the Product/Project/Library Manager roles and the Site/Org Administrator groups and is not on the list of available actions in the "Configure Actions for Roles" app in context Team management. However I've read an article that seems to suggest that it can be done in Windchill 12.1. Is there a load file to rename a group?I didn't find any handler from csvmapfile.txt  

I have some script that has been working for months... String varName = <some text>;String varDesc = <some text>;<some code>wt.change2.WTChangeRequest2 cr = wt.change2.WTChangeRequest2.newWTChangeRequest2();cr.setName(varName);cr.setDescription(varDesc);<more code>cr = (wt.change2.WTChangeRequest2) wt.fc.PersistenceHelper.manager.save(cr); The result was a new Change Request with my preset field values for my business case.  As of today, this code fails on the cr.setDescription() call with the following message: Message: Resource bundle/Message key = wt.introspection.introspectionResource/21 I haven't found any reason or solution yet... but I am assuming someone has.  Anyone have some ideas?   

There was a thread on this from ~10 years ago (here) and I'm sure things have changed for the better since then.  Is there a way to autoassociate CAD to a soft type of a WTPart in certain contexts? I have 2 subtypes of WTParts and one is set as the default on CAD associations. In one context, I want the other one to be the only WTPart type going in. I tried adjusting the preference for that context (Operations/General/Custom Modeled Part Class and added my WTPart internal name there) and I tried adjusting the OIR to enable only the subtype I want AND in the OIRs calling out wt.part.WTPart|my custom part internal name. Still, it auto-associates to the default.

We are using CATIA and Windchill WGM. We are getting duplicate (phantom) parts in upper level assemblies.  Sometimes the parts are (exploded) as far as position, other times they are in the correct location, just duplicated.  They are always "products" list as a child of a "part".  The part is 98% of the time some piece of hardware. (rivet, flow drill screw, spot weld).  I know that deleting the "product" one level above the problem "part" and then re-inserting the product into the assembly, seems to graphically fix the issue in the upper level assemblies.  I know that opening a sub-assembly in a new window shows the geometry correctly. (at least graphically)  I have reason to believe that even though the sub-assembly opens graphically good, Catia still recognizes the exploded parts.  The exploded parts show in the product structure of the top level assembly but do not show when opening the lower level assemblies. Anyone have any resolution?

I've read that baseWhereClause can be used to filter objects in pickers. https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS25075?source=search I added the clause to 'AddAffectedData' jsp in the server, but the UI is still returning objects in all states, the state.state = PRODUCTION filter is not being applied.   

Hi All, Hi @HelesicPetr  I have a Data Utility were I process the attribute values using the gatDataValue(). But the data utility does not get called for Common Attributes(allNonSchemaNonClassificationMinusClassificationRefIbas) in a WTPart.  If the attributes are listed maybe I can assign the selector in the Layout attribute properties but for Common Attributes the attributes are not listed but I see just one cell with value "allNonSchemaNonClassificationMinusClassificationRefIbas". Can anybody help me know why?  

After performing Save Bodies in SOLIDWORKS, the new/derived files does NOT appear in the workspace table of WGM However, the files can be found when browse using File Explorer The files will only appear if they are opened and saved again manually  What might be causing this issue?   Edit: The same issue also happens when performing a Save As Copy

The attributes in the model can be mapped to the CAD document attributes normally, but cannot be mapped to the parts associated with the CAD document.What is created on the part is not an IBA attribute, but an MBA attribute. Hi All,2 business divisions within my customer company currently using single/same Windchill instance.Now one of the business division has planned to get a separate Windchill instance, independent of current Windchill instance.I want to understand on how licensing works ,1. Can the current Windchill instance license be shared with new windchill instance? Is there any possibility?2. Or, a new set of licenses need to be purchased?3.
