Hi PTC Community,I'm 6 months old to Windchill and wanted to work on Windchill Info*Engine Adapters. I have PTC Windchill doc for how to configure my WC info*engine adapter. But I don't have proper doc for JMS Core properties. I wanted to connect my WC Adapter to 3rd party application to retrieve the desired data (Example: Part Number, Status, Doc linked to part number etc.) from WC Database. I would be glad if anyone can guide me on how to configure WC adapter and connect to 3rd party. Thanks in Advance.      

Consider two  scenarios,1. A wtpart with number 0001, A.1 is used in 7 different product structures.By revising that wtpart to B.1 , will the new revision B.1 get updated in 7 different product structures as well?How to achieve this? 2. A 2D drawing with A.1 revision is referenced(associated) by 15 wtparts. by revising drawing to B.1, will this latest revision updated on its associated wtparts also?How to achieve this. Thanks in advance. 

My aim is to create a view, which does not display CAD Part Generic in the table.At the top of the table, the attribute name appears to be "Object Type Indicator".However, when I try to define a filter in Edit View, I can't find such an attribute as "Object Type Indicator" in the 'Criteria' list.In Windchill this kind off Filter in the Edit View is available or not? 

We have a custom scheduler running with Job - ABBWorkflowProcessJobMonitor. The scheduler is running every two minutes, but every time the job log shows - "Query returned null". Is there any way we can understand what kind of jobs are to be triggered by this particular scheduler..    

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.2 and Datecode with CPS 11.2.1.17After update of release to 11.2.1.17 wcadmin (Administrator) is no longer active. All other users are working right but wcadmin no. I can't publish cad document in this way

I am able to create WTPart for required blocks in the AutoCAD drawing but I am trying to map their attributes to the WTPart structure created from these blocks but am unable to do it. Has anyone able to successfully map these blocks paramters to  WTPart attributes?

The question is:   Is "Create Parts" available for users with "PTC EBOM management License" in 11.2 or not? After delete user from AD server and Windchill. clearing the cache of windchill. user is still showing in teams' roles of particular container. it is possible to remove the user from particular member roles when we completely remove user from windchill and Active Directory?

Hi all, for our projects, we usually create pipe solution as .asm file, where a .prt file represents the duct and others .prt files (With different file names/numbers) for standards components like washer, fitting etc.To allow check-in, and so association, between WTPart, .asm and .prt files. we add to the .prt name/number underscore plus numbers as follow: - WTPart DUCT , DUCT.asm , DUCT_01.prt.   I have found out that, before check-in CAD files, modifing the association type for the .prt file from "Image" to "Content", we can check-in .asm and .prt even if thay have the same name/number: - DUCT.asm , DUCT.prt. Whci one is the best solution and why?

When we republish, all is fine.This is all very random, when it works all is fine and we have not experienced this prior to using AWS; however, that was WC 11.Any help is appreciated.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.1I am trying to configure my system so that a representation is published when an object changes state, but NOT when it is simply moved. We currently have a working set up with publish.republishonepmdocumentchange=true, publish.publishonepmdocumentchange=true. We have a Java program that is called whenever there is a new representation. Our problem is that it is triggered BOTH by state changes and by move (and rename) actions, which is undesirable for us. It is very clear in article CS74977 that state changes, renames and moves are treated the same way. What we would like is for them to be separated, so that we could invoke different listeners (AfterLoaders or whatever you want to call them) depending on which action was the actual trigger.

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.1Using extension Change Validator the "Validate Change" step 3 only appears during OOTB change notices not on Change notices with templates or change notices using sub-types. Creating a new change notice template does not show this "Validate Change" step either.
