Hi together, We recently have added a second SAP distribution target that has a different name but the same System ID and Client and the first one. When sending data to SAP only one single transaction is generated. Is there a possibility to have two transactions for each Distribution Target even if the System ID and Client are the same?

How to solve this problem?

In windchill 11.0 i added the Organization to Administrative user.I want remove it and come back. I don't find the way.Organization in the "edit user" must be clear

After running rehost utility we got error : LDAP error code 53. we checked the following article : https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS328255 and come to know this is happening because source has replication.Now our target does not have replication , so the error is understood.  So we are proceeding to disable the replication following the steps in  : https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS376575 We get error : LDAP error code 49 - invalid credentials.  In this disable replication command , we are giving LDAP user name and password same as in the rehost.properties file as shown :   Can you tell me where we are going wrong ? Do we need to provide any other username password here. ? If yes , then which file will contain it ?

Team,The WGM config file wgmclient.ini is located in the Windchill Workgroup Manager home directory, which is under C\Program Files\ so admin privileges are needed to modify it.  Is there a way to override it using a file somewhere else, preferably in the users' folders?cheers -- Rick  

We have a user that is no longer available that has set up subscriptions for many groups. I am hoping to edit/delete these as many are not needed or need updates. Is this possible? If so, how?

Hello all, One of my Windchill user is no more working on a project. so I removed him from that role group but still when somebody adds that group in CN as reviewer, the task is getting assigned all people in the group along with him. How to stop this from happening? Note: we manage roles by group. Windchill: 12 Thanks,Sandeep C.  

Hi all, Are there any standard transformation rules? When is it best to transform a part from EBOM view to SBOM view? When is it better to keep the EBOM view instead?      

Is it possible to get a BOM from an "Part"-assembly that has multiple subassembly-levels and Parts, where each subassembly is on a separate (pdf-)sheet/page from Windchill without customizing? Example below. (Windchill 12.0.2.5)Expressed differently: I want stacked single level BOMs in one document. Can't be that hard, right? It's 2023, we have AI, a professional PDM-system and that problem is older than anyone here. There must be somebody that had the same problem. So, second question, because I think Windchill is not capable of doing so. Hello,We are managing CAD data in Windchill related to WT-parts.The CAD data and the WT-parts follow a different lifecycle.The CAD data has two statuses: In Work and ReleasedThe WT-part has more and different lifecycle statuses.Because the CAD data and the WT-part are most of the time related we have many times the whishto release this data and Wt-part together.But it seams to us that this is not possible because of the different lifecycles.Is that correct or is there a way to promote them with one PR?  

I have one CAD worker running a machine separate to the Windchill server and have had no issues with it. I wanted to create another temporary one, also on a separate machine, to run for a while as we are putting a lot of new files onto the server that need representations created. I cannot figure out what is causing my issue of Fails to Start. I have gone through multiple times and checked that everything is setup the same on the temp worker as it is on the production worker. I even removed the production worker and tried just the temp, to see if there was a conflict between them. Temp still threw the error so I recreated the production worker in "Worker Agent Administration" and it connected perfectly and started working on jobs right away. Every post I have found keeps pointing back to looking at logs on the worker machine, but there are none being created. Where else are there logs on the server that possibly could point to what I have wrong? Permission wise, I have Everyo

I am trying to find specific assigned activities in a workflow process so that I can programmatically close them (with a vote if possible) and keep them in the tasks completed tables, rather than have them disappear.  I can go from activity to process, but cannot see anything to go in reverse from process to activity... and I can see the WorkflowHelper/Service that can list WorkItems but do not know the relation of these to the assigned activities.  Is there a basic cheat sheet in the help guider anywhere that I can read and begin to try things without always begging for help from the community?

Hello, I have a problem using an attribute value in an Document OIR. I want to use the project number to be in the attribute naming. Wondering if Windchill allows users to tag their non-CAD files (i.e. Word, PDF, Excel, PPT, etc.) when they upload files with metadata (i.e. test report, test plan, user needs, name of product, a review this may be applicable for, or any pertinent info that user deems necessary).  We are using WC 11, but will be migrating to 12 soon.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
