Hi,I am working on some Windchill customization for a client. I did a Java program, called as onpublish.afterloadermethod. I call some external REST web services and get back JSON response, which I have to parse.As Java 8 doesn't have native JSON parser and I don't want to use third party Java JSON library (possible maintenance problems and additional work involved), I want to use some internal solution (like internal JSON library, used by developers), which must exist inside Windchill and will be available with future WIndchill verisons.Can anybody help me?Thanks.

Good morning, we have a problem with local cache sync on Windchill 10.2; if I access Windchill from different workstations i presume that files should be the same but, for some reason, they are not. it seems that local cache cannot be synchronized.do you have suggestions?

Hi AllI've got a requirement to open the History Tab of a WTPart on the click of a link.I found that we can open Related Objects Tab by reconstructing the link as Windchill/app/#ptc1/tcomp/infoPage?tlnType=part&tlnAction=relatedPartsDocuments&oid=<some-oid-for-a-part>.. I'm unable to do the same for History Tab. Anybody got a workaround?Many thanks in advance.

Problem:We use Creo and have a lot of old Direct Modling Parts in our Windchill database that we have to use in Creo.When I load these Parts the importer does not use the specified Import Profil (see picture) for Direct Modeling Parts, which ends, that a lot of these Direct Modeling parts (not all) don't show the colors the have been assigned in Direct Modeling. Also the datumplanes and axis and are missing wgich are specified via import Profil.Anyone a tip how to bring the windchill import to use the Importprofil set in Creo?

I have just updated Windchill from 12.0.2.7 to 12.0.2.8 and the workflow Process Manager no longer works. Doing a RMB > Open Process Manager opens the Process Manager as expected however the top pane shows "Error: Invalid Process Reference" instead of the work flow. The bottom pane shows the activities as expected.     Is there anybody else that has done this update and can confirm if you have this same issue or not? I have opened a case with PTC yesterday but have not heard back yet from them.

I am trying to open .rsn files created in Windchill Risk and Reliability v11, in v12. This requires a conversion, which appears to be completing successfully. However when I go to open the file again, it keeps telling me it must be converted. Where is the converted file stored?  

Hi,When I work in a project, its ussual that some assemblies (with parts, another sub-assemblies...) to clossed in a status that dont necessari promotions. I say this case: study.It's possible to make a difference assemblies in Study and, more late, with a difference solutions i choose the accept solution?Then, with this assemblies accepted, to pass like a promotion.But I must to see the assemblies in Study state of the all assemblies that I send to prototype.Is any possibility to make this situation? Thank You.

Hi All, I am doing Rehost of windchill 12.1 1.  i have imported DB and LDAP2. copied source windchill Directory including HTTP, WindchillDS everything 3.Edited projects.property and rehost.property and ran the Rehost.sh command 4. After i tried to start Windchill server i faced issue in Apache and Java location issues Is this the right way to do ??  

Hi all! I found a problem to send the plain text from longDescription. I has the Operation making the same and it works. Control Characteristics has a long Description that not send from default. I´m implemented a customization on ESIResponseMetaInfo to add it. It work's but the content was sent with html tag and stuff. I found a way similar LongDescription from Operations, so i changed to the same way and the content did not sent it (its blank). So the xml file has the HTML content or don´t have any data on longDescription. There are someone who know to solve this? Thank you!
