HI ,   I have installed thingworx on windows machine connecting to Azure SQL. I get below error in scrrenshot. Upon checking through the KB i didn't linsence file gnereated . I see F:\ThingworxPlatform\licenseRequestFile.txt . Dear Team,We are using PTC Windchill WGM for Creo Cad data management since many years and it is working fine without any failure of opening both integrated application with one batch file.Since last 1.5 year we introduced Windchill WGM for our AutoDesk Inventor 2021 CAD application and other CAD Softwares.I am mostly using AutoDesk Inventor with Windchill WGM and facing a biggest and frequent issue.As we all know for working with both applications it is necessary to open Inventor 2021 and Windchill with integrated status where I can open the CAD files from both application and work on it. But when launching AutoDesk Inventor and Windchill with one batch file I am getting error “Unable to connect to Windchill Workgroup Manager. If more than one instance of the authoring application is running, the new one will run disconnected.” Please refer attached snap image for your reference.From above it is clear that there is another AutoDesk Inventor application file is running in backside PC p

I have a report that I am implementing a look back parameter, show me how many documents were released in the past X number of hours. I am using the database function System Date in my query builder but it seems to be reporting the system time 4 hours off. If its 1pm, the time displays as 9am, the timezone is correct as EDT. I can confirm that the reported time from the OS and Database using straight SQL queries is correct as is the reported timestamps of objects. This obviously throws off calculations in hours back since it is using this incorrect time in timestamp subtractions. I have seen previous posts related to this but its almost as if Windchill is applying the timezone offset twice. I've accounted for this by adding 4 hours to that time in my calculations but I should not have to do this. Thoughts?

How do you identify ECRs stuck in Implementation but have the ECN Resolved?   

Hi @BenLoosli Can I create multiple CAD workers on remote machine, if i created 4 Creo CAD workers, does it need 4 creo view adapters?are these 4 Creo workers are identical folders? One creo parametric application works with these 4 CAD workers? I mean one CAD application is enough for working with multiple workers? 

Any body have worked on integration of Solidworks PDM and Creo? Need help in this case.  

I have a WT part RMT246 and a WT part RMT489. The RMT246 is being part of various BOM structures. I need to replace this RMT246 with RMT489 wherever it is used. Maintaining the alternate and replace each structure is taking lot of time. Is there a faster method.  

I am currently using WC12.0.2Not able to find the "Soft Type Parameter" under the Upload category. any idea on this?     

A user reported this so I thought I would try the field. Say the check in comments popup. They report over the course of the day, its gets smaller and smaller each time it opens. Any idea what controls this? I know its likely a cookie. I have seen it where they would cascade to lower right as each one was opened.

I believe default rights grant read/write access to Team Members so that means any role you add becomes part of team members. Is there such a way to have a role operate like guest? In order for this to work, it would have to be excluded from Team Members group.

When I search for a WT part where used in all the BOM structures in Windchill, the results area  shows the data with columns 'Number', ''Version'', ''Name'', ''Context''. Can I get the End Item Tag for the Wt part where the searched part is used. The results can be exported to excel and the End Items can be used for the ECN. Attached is example. 

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if the Windchill table WorkflowVariableEventInfo is retired in version 12.0.2 and forward in the Windchill database? If so, does anyone by chance know what table it was replaced with in the Windchill database?

My attribute panel appears but not the textbox I had expected. I have a trigger script which segregates email messages by project. Right now the trigger script sends one summary email. I need to change it to send an email for each project. Does anyone know how to make a trigger script run multiple times from a script? Thank you,Maxine

Been having an issue adding NX .prt files to my Workspace for a while. I was previously told that there was an issue with my Workspace. Deleted my original and created quite a few since. Same issue/error. Have tried different server(s). Same issue/error. I am now leaning towards wondering if there are "corrupt" files that an administrator needs to remove after getting the exact same error all the time.I have exhausted my local IT assistance.My "corporate support" has not been able to tell me how to resolve.Been trying to get any help I can at this point.Wondering if anyone here might recognize or be able to let me know which direction to head.Thinking I may get in touch with some other users and see who and where the "administrator" is to see about getting the files listed in the error message looked at and/or removed.Thought I might ask some more familiar with Windchill and Workspaces before looking sillier than I usually do 🙂APPRECIATE any help possible.THANKS  Error messa

Hi,I've configured publish rule xml to trigger publish of SolidWorks assembly as .step in Attachments for the EPMDoc when change of lifecycle state to "Approved" occurs (plus a couple more defining attributes), ie. "unknown-source" as the key. When either Set state or Promotion request on the EPMDoc is used to set the state to "Approved" the publish starts, but in Job monitor I see the associated WTPart number, not the EPMDoc number for the assembly. step-file is found in EPMDoc Attachments as expected.When publishing .step manually through New representation in Job Monitor there's the EPMDoc number. Why is this? 11.1 M020 CPS20

Hi, I'm fighting the MPMLink implementation and this topic is interesting (albeit kind of old). So in the end, how do you treat the inseparable items which you design and order to be manufactured by some external company? Ideally setting an assembly as purchased or inseparable would automatically (or optionally) result with mBOM side having just the single assembly structure part instead of the whole tree but it doesn't work like that.   Side question - do you guys have some resources when it comes to configurable modules and mBOM management? I've gone through all of the Windchill documentation and there's barely any mention of this. Or is it only possible to create separate mBOMs and Process Plans for each Variant Specification separately? Also, it looked clear in the beginning, but the more I research this the less obvious it is why mBOMs even exist when the manufacturing steps, tools, procedures and basically all of the information is structured and allocated in Process Plans.&
