Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: Windchill 13.1 Parts Link " and "Windchill 13.1 MPM Link" media CD not available on PTC siteDescription: Hello Experts,I am installing the WC 13.1.0.0 on windows server.While installing the WC at end steps it was asking for Medica kits to be copied to staging area.It was asking for the "Windchill 13.1 Parts Link " and "Windchill 13.1 MPM Link" media CD. When I checked that on PTC site I am not able to find any relevant Media on site.Please see attached images for reference. Has nay one faced this issue?If you have any idea where to check. Please let me know where we can find the latest software media for above mentioned modules.

Version: Windchill 12.1 Use Case: Attempting to use Save to Workspace in SolidWorks 2022 SP5. The open assembly has a subassembly which has virtual parts in it. When Saving to Workspace, the virtual parts are loaded into the Workspace as new CAD Document objects. It seems like the Site Preference "Manage virtual components" is set to Yes, however I have verified many times that it is actually set to No. Is there something else going on?Description: I'm having an issue in SolidWorks 2022 SP5 where Save to Workspace loads virtual parts into the Workspace as new objects. The Site has the "Manage virtual components" preference set to No. I'm opening an old assembly that has not been migrated into Windchill. Subassemblies have already been loaded into Windchill. Does anyone have experience calling and generating a Jasper Report from a Workflow expression. The challenge here is that the workflow runs on Master node, which only has BGMS and no foreground MS, in the cluster configuration. Reports can be generated successfully in a monolithic setup where Jasper, BGMS and MS are on same machine.

My company is working to implement the use of ESI to publish to ERP via Windchill Change Notice.Our current business practice is for Product Engineering to design product, responsible for form/fit/function, then Manufacturing Engineering takes the Design BOM and defines the manufacturing BOM in Windchill. We are on a journey to change the way mBOMs are built. Previously the End Items, Shipping Unit (parcels), Mechanical Parts and Plant Data were structured in the Windchill mBOM, then a home-grown middleware between Windchill and ERP was used to massage the Windchill mBOM by adding raw materials, semi-finished parts, routing/process information, and addition of -FINISH information (ex PARTNUMBER-BLACK) used for purchasing and inventory of parts with finish.Going forward a complete mBOM will be build in Windchill and published through ESI; including all raw materials, semi-finished parts, Process Plans, -FINISH parts, and Plant and Enterprise Data. Today our process l

Currently, while we do note parts as being serialized or not, we do not make use of Part Instances. So there is no representation of a serialized part and Change Notice releases just represent idealized releases from Engineering which are sent to SAP. SAP should contain the data to answer the question what is the as-built structure (based on production orders and issued parts). I am thinking of pulling this back to the PLM side. Anyone have experience in trying to manage this on the PLM end?  I can foresee a nightmare to keep this data in sync to decisions on the floor and outside of PLM. The goal is to accurate but not force extra overhead on folks building products and making those incorporation decisions. From what I know, this means making incorporation decisions at the change notice to declare effectivity of changes to upper level serialized instances and end items. Is that correct? That whenever we upload content files it should be uploaded in different system instead of default/current system.When trying to create new Host , its shows error "Create mount for root folder "defaultsystemrootfolder" failed. Hi,  in Windchill, we have several workspaces. Each workspace has some sub folders.  In the table view, if I want to search "*.drw". I can only see drawings inside my current folder. But nothing from the sub folders.  Did we setup something wrong?  Thanks

The ''Preview Mass Change'' step throws an error in ''Perform mass change'' wizard after using ''Insert Existing Document'' Please see attached files first to see steps to reproduce my concern:Step 1.pngStep 2.pngI know how to deal with such a warning if we use ''Replace Existing Part'' for example in ''Perform Mass Change''. We can do this by manipulating the relationship constraints in type and attribute management as shown in image-1.png. In Image-1.png we are manipulating a relationship between (Part to Part) not (part to document). For this reason I could not find out if there is any other way to manipulate the relationship constraints between a part and a document. Or maybe there is any other reason for this error?I could not find much help in PTC articles.I really appreciate an answer for my question, as took me so much time and could not figure it out. ThanksBR

Hello Devs, I'm new to Navigate and have created a custom task where I need the search to return only the latest released objects. However, it's currently fetching multiple released versions as well as objects in the Production Rework state.As it's a custom task, I can't control the search using a saved search.I tried using the following navigation criteria, but it didn’t work:State eq 'Released'Do I need to use a different navigation criteria, or is there an issue with this one? We will get part number/cad number and attribute name and values in request and those attributes should get updated in windchill.
