Version: Windchill 12.0 Use Case: I am seeking to reroute the garbage collection logs to their own folder so the log folder only contains the other logs such as the method server and server manager logs.Description: I am looking to be able to keep my windchill logs in the log folder but re route the garbage collection logs to their own folder, is this possible? I assume there is a site.xconf property I can set? I am on windchill 12.027 with plans to upgrade in the future.

I want to attached a local file to EPMDocument in Winchill by RESTApis. But i can not see any document about this. When working around i see 2 possible ways Way 1: +> Find some way to upload the file to server's content cache. Then get the encodedCCD property+> Using encodedCCD to add to the request create EPMDocument. API: **POST Windchill/servlet/rest/v1/wgm/workspaces/{workspaceId}/store ** Way 2: +> Associate EPMDocument to a WTDocument+> Attach the file to WTDocument I not have any experience in Winchill, so can anybody have faced with similar problems, please help me Thank you

Does anyone know of a way to automatically place all new user accounts into a specific license group in Windchill 12? Currently we have to create the account in participant administration (Syncing it with our LDAP) and then take the extra steps of adding them to the 'PTC Navigate Contributor - Active Daily User License' group. Since this process is always the same, and occasionally forgotten, an automatic membership method  is preferable.

I am looking if someone has a good summary on these two Location declarations. Hi, I would like to get a List of .drw who changed the lifecycle state within the last 24 h. There is a restriction to get the information via REST Endpoint. I used the PTC CAD Document management with GET CADDocuments. I tried to use the filter for the LastModified date. But there is no impact of a changed Lifecycle state to the Last modified date. Any Ideas how i can filter for objects who changed their lifecycle state in a range of time?

We have been asked whether we can convert our Windchill and Oracle on RedHat system to use MS-SQL Server. What proportion of Windchill  installations use MS-SQL? We don't want to be on our own. My first try was to run MS-SQL on RedHat. Does MS-SQL work better on Windows? How about a WC-on-Linux and MSSQL-on-Windows combination?  A benefit seems to be cost. What are the pitfalls?

Version: Windchill 13.0 Use Case: It happens on a few computer, most of them works perfectly. They are all on the same network. My Windchill server is working on http and don't have https configured. When using the embed browser on Workgroup Manager, it connects alright. I've modified the hosts file. Restarted the computer to confirm. The user have the right licenses to connect and use CAD, and there's enough licenses available.
