Is it possible to create a WTDocument with MULTI_PRIMARY Content via JAVA API? 

Hello,We want to implement certain conditions for the creation of Change Management objects. Currently, only users with the Change Leader role can create change requests and change notices. We've enforced this restriction through policy administration.Additionally, our customer has requested the following:Change Requests can only be created when the Problem Report is in the "Accepted" state.Change Notices can only be created when the Change Request is in the "Implementation" state.Alternatively, the creation of Change Requests and Change Notices should only be possible after the execution of the "Create Change Request" and "Create Change Notice" actions.How can I achieve this?

I need to retrieve the API of all objects affected by change notifications in WTpart through programming, because I need to control whether the WTPart objects of the affected objects already have other changes when creating a new ECN. If so, the current change will be canceled and the customer will be prompted that there are already other changes in the objects. Please complete them first before initiating the change

Dear Team,I have a question related to Part & CAD Centric.If I use 'Part Centric' when creating a WT Part, I can enable it with 'New CAD Document'. Before creating a WT Part, I can select which type I want.But if I go to "CAD Centric", I can create an EPM Document with the WT part. but I want to select the WT part type. I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.1 and Datecode with CPS M020-CPS17When upgrading to SW 2021 from 2019, there was no 2021 option. I reinstalled the WGM and add the 2021 option. Removed the 2019 option and tried to add the 2021 option but there was no option. Removed and installed the WGM with only the 2021 option. But only the 2019 option is available. How to we get the WGM link to the 2021 application?

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 11.0 and Datecode with CPS M030-CPS06we are planning to perform Upgrade from 11.0 M030-CPS06 to to 12.1.2.10 to 13.0.2.1.our team has performed the rehost and there are no physical files copied from prod vault to dev vault.can we proceed ahead with Windu, without any physical files? don't we need the physical files for the upgrade rehearsals?could you please suggest here.

Has anyone used Infor PLM with Creo? Our products are highly customizable. We are in search of a good PLM that suits our need. Infor PLM is one of the contenders among Windchill and Aras.  Does it work seamlessly with Creo? Is it at par with Windchill? Any major issue or drawback that we need to be aware of? Your suggestion is highly valuable to help us find  the the best PLM.

Hello PTC Community, I’ve configured Role A at the organization level to allow users to read and download content only in release-equivalent lifecycle states. However, I’ve encountered an issue where Role A is inheriting the out-of-the-box (OOTB) ACLs assigned to the Team Member role, which inadvertently grants users access (read and download) to objects in all lifecycle states.What is the best practice for configuring ACLs so that Role A can only access objects in release-equivalent lifecycle states, even when users are also assigned the Team Member role? Any advice on managing role-based permissions effectively in this scenario would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance! Best regards,Santosh

I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.6We have CATIA reactions configured to calculate attribute values based on updates made in a design table spreadsheet. These do not get triggered when design tables are uploaded in WGM without opening the model in CATIA. Is there any functionality that can either leverage these already existing reactions, or replace the functionality to a similar degree?

Hello,   our company is wondering, what best practice of a multi used CAD drawing could be in Windchill (10.2). We don't use change manangement in Windchill.   We have a drawing that describes several parts (content link). The drawings shows a base model with options. If a new part with a new option was engineered, the drawing needs to be updated with the new option. We use the master model concept and have a 3D CAD model that has all options. This model is not linked to a part but has a drawing reference to the drawing. The drawing is linked to all parts with content link.   To develop the new part, the 3D model needs to be revised. When work is done the drawing needs to be revised. The problem is, that now we need to revise all related parts because if not, the new revision is not linked to the parts anymore. I am using Windchill PDMLink Release 12.1 and Datecode with CPS 12.1.2.1We plan to implement BOM Redlining in Windchill. As I understand the current functionality, when an ECN is in an open state with BOM Redlining and we run a summary report, it does not display the added or deleted objects. However, once the ECN is released, they are included in the report. Is it possible to configure the report to show BOM redlining details while the ECN is still in an open state?

Can we upgrade to Creo 8.0 and windchill 12 simultaneously? we are currently in Creo 4.0 M150 and  windchill 11 which is no longer supported we need to upgrade to Creo 8.0 and windchill 12 is there a possibility we can upgrade both simultaneously or we need to upgrade windchill 12 first then to creo 8.0?

Version: Windchill 12.1   Use Case: I'm working on creating Creo drawing template. There are some custom attributes that pulls value from windchill to the template. These are added in the parameters window and designated. Problem is values from windchill are getting populate in creo template. But values that I enter in creo parameter is not getting upaded in windchill. What am I doing wrong here. Note : The same template is available for solidworks and windchill and everything is working fine. We are trying to replicate that for creo. Description:
