Windchill Navigate

Hello Devs, I'm new to Navigate and have created a custom task where I need the search to return only the latest released objects. However, it's currently fetching multiple released versions as well as objects in the Production Rework state.As it's a custom task, I can't control the search using a saved search.I tried using the following navigation criteria, but it didn’t work:State eq 'Released'Do I need to use a different navigation criteria, or is there an issue with this one? Could you provide a sample criteria to achieve the desired result?Thank you in advance.

Curious if anyone knows this. I will be moving to WC 13.0.2 and Navigate 9.7. I know my current system, that the current default Navigate apps use Legacy RESTEasy webservices. Noticed this folder at my site level: I am assuming that this get purged and cleanup at some point. Does anyone know what process, queue or service handles that? What is the frequency? Gives you some insight to the sausage making to that app. Seems like what it does is gathers the content, creates a zip and stores that in a WTDocument at the site level. Then the download link gets that content.

We have a requirement to extract the part structure from a PVZ file. While we are currently able to display it using the ThingView widget, the goal is to extract the part structure from the PVZ file and present it in a tree grid.Additionally, upon selecting a part in the grid, the corresponding part should be highlighted in the 3D view. I would like to understand:Is this functionality achievable in ThingWorx?Is there a way to read the PVZ file and extract its structure?Can this be accomplished using any existing extensions or OOTB (Out-Of-The-Box) functions, or will we need to develop custom extensions? Thanks in advance!

Hello, We have configured Navigate using Windchill-based authentication. However, the customer is now changing the ThingWorx and Windchill server URLs. Other than below pointers, anything else need to take care? Add the new ThingWorx URL to the allowlist on the Windchill side.Update the Windchill URL in all integration connectors and configurations. Thank you in Advance. -Abhiram

Planning a system upgrade with Windchill 12 to 13 as well. Looking to see who has been down this road ahead of me and to share feedback. Specifically these questions: 1. Will Navigate 9.6 work with Windchill 12.0.2 CPS8? Or will it fail since CPS is not current? If it does work, it would be great since I do not need to upgrade both at the same time. 2. Does upgrade in place alter or update the database? Just need to know in rehearsals if DB has to be reset as well.  3. Will any custom apps be an issue? I have a few in there. Just checking if there are any special concerns here.

Greetings, When I want to create the connector base on ThingTemplate: PTC.WCODataConnectorThingTemplate , it shows in the log that's been created but it still lags on the save button which shows that still in the progress for saving and take time to save but it won't save so how to fix this issue to create such a connector to use the services and thanks

Reading through this article: How to create an admin user in ThingWorx Navigate when there is no Administrator user in Windchill  In my case, I already had configured to authenticate to Windchill and one of my accounts had an alternate uid of Administrator. Login was fine, no issues. I am switching to SSO on Windchill side so my assumption would be I need a matching id of Administrator which I am hesitant to do. I have added two additional accounts to the Administrators group in Thingworx so I can use those to get into Composer and administer the system. The question is, if I make Administrator in able to be used, will I lose anything or not be able to do functions in Composer? If I need to, I could reconfigure authentication back to get back in but I prefer not to use this account if I do not have to.

In our ThingWorx Navigate platform, we have Windchill Auth configured (ptc-identity-provider-authenticator), which can create user automatically and add users to ThingWorx groups. We have a requirements for few apps where we can not give access to all the ThingWorx platform users to get access. Only subset of the ThingWorx Platform users can use these apps. I am looking for ideas how to automate user provisioning for these apps. Right now we are manually adding users into ThingWorx groups.

Hello, For the released part numbers in Windchill, for few part number I can see PDF is generated in Thingworx Navigate but for few files only DWF is generated. I really want to see and download PDF from Thingworx Navigate. Please provide a solution. Thanks,Baala

I have reconfigured out test Windchill instance to SSO and am getting some final errors with Navigate pulling data from Windchill. Authentication uses Windchill so I was able to see the redirect to Windchill, authenticate and I am properly authenticated. Testing view documents, I was able to search on a document, see proper returns and even a document thumbnail. This should mean I am getting a proper connection back to Windchill to retrieve data.  When I get the document details, I get back a few errors and no details appear. Same is true for the other apps for CAD data and parts (BOMS do appear). Hello All,   I am trying to read the count of object returned by WRS in ThingWorx/Navigate service. The count information is captured by "@odata.count" key in the WRS response.    Windchill Response:    From ThingWorx service, if I use dot (.) to read json key values. In case of @odata.count, ThingWorx composer is throwing syntax error.    Any idea how to read JSON key values having @ in the key name?   Thanks in advance!   - Shirish
