3D Part & Assembly Design

I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.2.0when ı choose profile(framework) which Bosch type like sigma, it seems only rectangular.

I ran into a large assembly that I cannot save after changing some parameters.The parameter does not seem to have anything to do with regenerating the assembly (it is date and designer name).From the warning messages that appear after I tried to save the model, I have found 2 support articles, but I could not read them. Hello,is it possible to manage default font type/size/linestyle for cross sections?I want to follow technical drawing stadards in my country but Creo always use default font/color/linestyle for section name which is not correlating with cross section default arrow style (because it is just a note). I am missing something like these "drawing.dtl" options: crossec_font_color (valid for arrows and xsec note)crossec_font_height (valid for arrows and xsec note)

Hello,It is impossible for me to open my files generated in pvz by Creo on my Ipad through the CreoView app. Here is my export configuration file : I load my file on icloud, chose send to Creo View, the app opens and... nothing happened. Any solution or advices ? Thanks in advance.

Good morning,    I'm having a similar issue, the thread note that you are seeing is a note of a cosmetic thread,  In the holes made with standard hole   i can apply the note that i would from the .hol file but in the hole made with cosmetic thread i'm not able to understand from where it's taken and i can't edit. As part of our migration to Creo 8 / Windchill 12, we came up w/ smart formats fed by parameters in our new start parts.    When we have a new part on a new format life is ezpz. However, if we have an existing part w/o the required parameters things get complicated.  I came up w/ a mapkey to add the needed parameters to the existing part that works well when we want to put this part on a new format. Problem lies in a relation we have in our new start parts.  It's the one below that sets the value of the MATERIAL parameter equal to the value of PTC_MATERIAL_DESCRIPTION.  Each material has a defined description in it.        /*This relation sets the material parameter equal to the material description thru a yes/no parameter      IF (USE_MATL_DEF_DESC)==YES      MATERIAL=material_param("PTC_MATERIAL_DESCRIPTION")      ENDIF      /*This information needs to be pasted int

I am using Creo Parametric Release 11.0 and Datecode11.0.0.0Unable to add transitions or multiple radius values when using the D1 x D2 conic option.

When exporting a cad model as a PDF U3D I select to export annotations and parameters in the content tab however when i open Adobe Acrobat reader, I cannot find the parameters. There is a side section that has property and value columns but no which part I select those columns do not populate. Where are the parameters?

I am having sketching problems when it comes to uniting even simple segments.Maybe my config.pro settings are off, but CREO 10 / Win10 is butchering even the simplest connections between an arc and a segment, or even between two angled segments.Is there a way to fix those red dots? Like uniting them together or something...No matter how much I magnify to see what the problem is, CREO still shows them on the same line, but in the end makes them red anyway!Drives me completely nuts!!!Maybe my settings are wrong, or not set up to snap correctly, but I do not know where to look.

I want to start to use the multibody in the sheet metal. But I need first to implement this feature in my drawing. On my drawing all my drawing, I have a table with the Radius, thickness, K-factor, and a relation that calculate the Outside Bend allowance of my part. All this information is useful for the production. I have try with a test with 2 body, I have insert the body specific information &SMT_DFLT_BEND_RADIUS and &SMT_THICKNESS in the creation of my table, But it only take the base body information. I have also try to add this &SMT_BEND_ALLOWANCE_FACTOR, but the table does not accept this info. And if their a way to have a formula that change with each body to calculate the OBD for 90º of the part.  My old way to give the information still work, but only for a single body, or for a multibody part that are all Body linked. 

I created a local section view on a model back view and I can't get the spline that demarcates the edges of the section view to show up. The spline only appears when I have the dialogue box open for editing the view. As soon as I close out the box, the spline disappears but the section remains. I would like the spline to remain on the view. How can I do this?

HI all, I got a bunch of quite complex sketches, that serve as gasket centerline in the part. to better see them in the skeleton model assembly, I changed properties of those sketches to a random, different than default appearance. then, as I wanted to go back to their previous style , I've drawn a new sketch and in properties of the sketch copied the style from existing and selected that new entity.result is far from expected, as now I have a line, that is visible the same in 3d, but in different color inside the sketcher compared to fresh sketch. Any tips in resetting the line style of entities that were changed to default style without the need to re-draw all of them again  ?

I want to export those part files to dxf without opening the files one by one and saving them. What I have done so far:I could not get the proper export of the part files to dxf without opening the part as a drawing first. I created a mapkey that opens the current part as a drawing template with the correct view and scale, then saves that drawing as a dxf. The mapkey works when run manually and does save me time.However, I wanted to speed up the process further by using Creo distributed batch to run that mapkey on all the parts. I have  users that are having trouble getting start files. When creating new parts they only get the PTC supplied defaults. They also do not see the Pro/Library option when opening files. They are able to navigate to the Windchill templates manually and open so access isn't an issue. The config pro and sup being used are the same as every other user as they use a start up script. Windchill server is setup the same. We have tried clearing the windchill workspace cache and reinitializing the server connection. Any ideas?

Hello,I am looking for a way to calculate the number of unique component types (excluding duplicates) in an assembly and automatically display this value in a drawing using parameters in Creo Parametric.The goal is to achieve something like the red box in the attached image, where the number of unique components (e.g., ) is calculated and shown. I’m working on a project in PTC Creo where I need to plot hundreds of points on a curved surface based on predefined X, Y, Z coordinates. I’ve already created a table with these coordinates and successfully imported it into Creo, which generated an accurate set of points. However, in the Model Tree, the points are recognized as a Table Feature rather than a Sketch Feature. My goal is to have these points appear as part of a Sketch Feature to enable better manipulation and integration into downstream modeling tasks. Is there a way to directly import or convert these points (or a .pts file) into a sketch? Alternatively, are there any efficient workarounds or automated methods within Creo to achieve this? Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I've made a part through surface modelling in Creo 10 that now needs to be solidified and shelled. The part has family instances of different sizes. The part solidifies succesfully (which also works in each instance), but I can't get it to shell. I've tried using the 'Shell' feature, but also by manually offsetting the surface quilt. The ' Shell feature' results in the error message "Highlighted surfaces are too curved to offset by specified value. Recommended actions: Make a quilt from good surfaces, offset the quilt, make patches over missing surfaces." Offsetting 'unproblematic' surfaces works (with difficulty) in the master model, but at least one of the family instances always fails, depending on the surfaces I exclude from the offset. If I remove the surface(s) that causes one failure, I will have an error in a different surface the next time around. Any advice or ideas for solving this? I would like to avoid remodelling the entire inner surface

Creo 8.0 UserWe recently upgraded from a Canon Tx-4000 to a Tx-4200 and we have an odd issue when plotting a drawing. No matter what size we print (Ansi A, B, C, D, etc....)  It will plot full scale to the correct size then scroll about 3 or 4 ft of excess paper before cutting. Almost to the size of an Ansi EX.  I initially thought it was a plotter setting because we did not have the issue with the previous plotter.   If I convert it to a .pdf and plot it cuts to the correct size. I also spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with canon and they basically told me it was a software issue. Hi, Creo keeps shutting down because of this error. I have the student version and it basically says that it doesn't have "enough" access but I have already allowed it to communicate through my firewall. Plus, I uninstalled and reinstalled the diagnostic tool and it still won't work. I'll be really grateful ofr any suggestions on how to fix it. Thanks!Error message ↓ 

Hello - I looked high and low and attempted searching for this request online and within CREO 10.In CREO Assy you can select one component and change the transparency of that component - but when you go to drawing the view is monolithic - Solid or hidden but not hybrid. There is one component that I want to display hidden line removal to show features within the part. I tried Component Display under Layout/Edit. I went through the prompts - but nothing changes. Is this possible - and why so hard to achieve?I read online about Display States within CREO - but when I search CREO help I see nothing in CREO 10.Thanks for helping.

Is it possible to align tables to another tables or to view or any entity in drawing sheet?

Hello, we migrated from Creo 8 to 11. I have a problem in sketcher, those blue boxes around dimensions. Upon entering a value I cant even see the number. Any Ideas what could be the problem? I dont know if its graphical glitch or some setup/option problem.
