Hi, As system and project administrator in Codebeamer I need to develop scripts to fulfil the requirements of my users, when the out-of-box functionality of Codebeamer is not sufficient. F.e. I want to prevent having multiple downstream references from items within the same tracker. Coming from RVS Trigger Scripts debugging was a pain, but there were extensive JavaDocs available. With Codebeamer all I could find was some examples (https://support.ptc.com/help/codebeamer/r2.1/en/index.html#page/codebeamer/developers_guide/649989.html#), but no documentation which objects or classes are available and how to use them. How do you actually develop custom scripts?Am I supposed to just guess which Beans are available?

Hello,I'd like to ask if it's possible to create external applications for aggregating data from Codebeamer by directly loading data from the Codebeamer database instance (MySQL)?I'm asking about this from both a technical and licensing perspective (does PTC allow such an action) before we begin any work.

Hello all, I've been tasked with creating some WorkflowActions that shall obtain data, process it and write the result to an item field (text, choice, table - differs per WA), where the triggering Member lacks write access to the field. A use case is (e.g.) writing "administrative data" to item fields that are not visible to members with certain roles (e.g. "Externals" or "Non privileged" regular users). Since a WorkflowAction is, by design, always executed in the context of the triggering user, this cannot be achieved by default. Is there a way to execute these field updates under a different user context (e.g. "system user") from within the WorkflowAction, or to run the WorkflowAction itself under a different context? Another approach could be utilising the "Execute as" mechanism available for some "predefined" WorkflowAction (disabled by default) - is there a way to use this from a custom WorkflowAction (possibly with a "hard wired" user, defined in the WA)? Any ideas or suggestions

On the Review Hub item details side bar, multi-choice fields currently display only the number of selected values rather than the selected values themselves. This prevents reviewers from validating the field content during a review. Please update the item details page to display the selected values for multi-choice fields.

Currently, all computed fields are recalculated during the “Copy Process Configuration” function. When there are a large number of computed field, this leads to a significant drop in performance during the process. It would be helpful if the fields were recalculated only when computation was changed.

Issue DetailsIn Codebeamer version 3.2.0.1.1, when working with complex filters in the Requirements view, the filter panel occupies a significant portion of the available screen space, reducing the area available for displaying requirements.Additionally, when the side panel is collapsed, the requirements area does not automatically expand to utilize the freed space. I know how to create a review for requirements in trackers. But how can we create a review for a document in CodeBeamer? Thanks.I uploaded a PPT file to CodeBeamer. I didn’t find the way to create a review for it. 

In the UI a tracker can be locked by a user for exclusive access, but this is not possible via REST API.Use case:The items of a tracker are modified outside the UI, e.g. to generate a item skeleton. This operation must be performed atomic, i.e. it must be prevented that someone else modifies any item of the tracker while the external modifications are done.

I am using Codebeamer Release 20.11-SP5 I need a documentation about a possible upgrade path to get our current 20.11-SP5 (running on MySQL) up to the most current version. Is this 3.1? Thanks a lot, Harald

When opening a review, the "References" tab of each item should be expanded by default, without requiring any manual interaction. Like shown in the picture. See also Case Details: 18097824 

The Word export template is exporting specific information into a table  The table has a font and font size  set.  However, when the data is export certain data items (not all) have the text size changed as they are exported.  And example of this is the item «item.signed.urlKeyId»  This item is consistently changed from a size 6 to size 10 when exported.  I have attempted to set the 'Ignore HTML formatting';  I have added a style to the table and set the font style and size with this as well; I have added a paragraph with a font style and size as well;  None of these attempts seem to help.

Hi Team,Need support/clarification on the following use case:When a Test Run is created from Test Case V2, the Test Run captures and stores that specific version (V2) of the test case. Hi Team,as per the PTC codebeamer articles,Test cases can be added to or removed from a Test Run only under the following conditions only:For a Regular Test Run when the status is “Ready for Execution”For a Formal Test Run when the status is “To be Approved”However, Customer requirement is need to add or remove the test cases from test run when the Test Run is "In progress" state or "Finished" when we are restarting the test runis there any way to achieve this ?please refer case details 18065754 for more information

In CB, the user would like the option to delete the link between Test Case & Test Sets directly from the Downstream References tab in the Test Case tracker. With the current process, removing a test case from several test sets is complicated. They would therefore like to remove the link directly from the Test Case tracker instead of going into each test set and deleting it one by one.

Hello! We are trying to find a REST API which allows us to Enable/Disable a project (i.e. Lock all the trackers, prevent any changes in members, roles, etc) In Java based workflow actions, we are using:  var project = projectDao.findById(admin, project.getId());project.setDisabled(true);projectDao.update(project);

I propose CodeBeamer to add a function to set the default stream.Every time I login in CodeBeamer, it stays in initial stream. And I have to switch to other stream every day. 

I created a stream to test the feature. I can not see in the UI how to delete it. And there is no end-point in the REST API to delete a stream.
