Good Day!I am attempting to assist a customer in deciding which version of Pure Variants they may wish to implement. I admittedly am still learning about Pure Variants, and seem to be tripping slightly.What is the difference between Desktop Client and Web Client? Is there a link or table I can use to help them out?

Currently in Codebeamer version 3.2.0.1.1, Review Hub information is available, but there is no dedicated filter in either Trackers or Reports to access and filter items based on their Review Hub status. We are using Codebeamer SaaS for our organization and would like to restrict Codebeamer access to authorized company systems only. provide the recommended configuration and settings for achieving this requirement in our Codebeamer SaaS environment?

Some trackers are classified as “Work Item” (e.g. Requirement, Test Run, Issue, Epic, User Story), some as “Configuration Item” (e.g. Test Case, Test Set, Release, Configuration Items).Is there a description what is meant with “Work Item” and what with “Configuration Item”? I’m trying to install PTC Integrity Lifecycle Manager Client on Windows 11 enterprise Multisession (That is basically a Windows Server), but I get and error message that says:Error writing LaunchAnywhere components (Access Denied).

I’m trying to work out a way of displaying information relating to the time spent between states in a work item, eg how long it was in Status A before it went to Status B…. I’m guessing a computed field would work per item, but ideally I’m looking for a report that would give an average across a tracker eg, the average time for work items to go from State A to State B. I’m sure someone must have done something similar to this so putting it out there for suggestions… Any assistance appreciated!

I have an edge case where I need to impersonate another user in a workflow transition. The documentation refers to the executeAs feature (https://support.ptc.com/help/codebeamer/r3.3/en/#page/codebeamer/user_guide/ug_workflow_actions.html#wwID0ETBO1) and I have configured that in the application configuration and I even restarted the server but I don’t see that option showing up as an action or option. Where is this supposed to appear when configuring the workflow?

I am using Codebeamer Release 3.1 and Datecode3.1.0.0 We have a performance problem in a specific project due to high numbers of link between items with another project and a little complexity for computed fields. This cause the error 504 Gateway timeout and it becomes impossible to edit/create items. We already have increased the time to reach timeout up to 300 seconds. We would like to reduce the loading time of the items, not increasing more time. It's a blocking point and we must improve the performance as soon as possible. Hello! I have a question regarding exporting information from the .supervisors type field.When using a template, I'm using this field syntax: <<item.supervisors» Of course it’s working, but it’s exporting the username (like X3Z5S3) instead of real name (like John Smith) as it is in codebeamer item view.Is there any way to convert the way how the template handle this situation? Thank you

I am using Codebeamer Release 3.3 and Datecode3.3.0.0 I'm installing Codebeamer on a virtual machine and I'm having trouble with the license: in the wizard I'm asked to create a new account at https://codebeamer.com/cb - which does not work because the only thing I can do here is log in. So I tried to use my ptc partner user and it does not work either. Has anyone had issues like this? Thank you!

Hi All,I am trying understand on how to enable SSO between Codebeamer and Windchill for OSLC-DPT integration. Consider I am having PingFederate as CAS, SAML/OIDC with ThingWorx Flow as the middleware for enabling this integration. With this given scenario, how do I enable SSO. For a tracker item, when you go to the Downstream references tab it displays a few fields from each downstream reference.  Is there a way to add another field that displays in this table?

A user deleted 3,700 items from a tracker. What is the safest way to restore all items and preserve the hierarchical structure of the tracker? I can only see at most 500 items at a time in the Trash so I don’t know if I just select the first 500, restore them, then repeat until complete. Will that process recreate the tracker as it was originally structured?

Update the User Information screen in CodeBeamer to change the license assignment mechanism from checkboxes (allowing multiple licenses to be assigned to a single user) to radio buttons (thereby limiting a user to one license assignment).

We have purchased Advanced + Collaboration licenses and need clarification regarding the administrator account.Is the Admin user included within the purchased licenses, or is it provided as an additional license?What is the recommended license configuration for an organization with  project users and administrator.License configuration is currently pending. Any guidance or reference documentation regarding Codebeamer license assignment and administrator licensing. 

Codebeamer SaaS provide a Git/SVN repository as part of our subscription Or do we need to create and manage our own Git repository and then integrate it with Codebeamer?

The options for rerunning test cases shall have the filtering options extended. Currently we are able to only test result in case of the test case pick window. We would like to have the following filtering capabilities added:Previously not executed test cases Filtering by priority Failed test cases where the associated defect status is Implemented

Once word/excel report is generated ,it should not be editable.
