Hello. I'm trying to create a dimension pattern using C++ toolkit in Creo 8. First I created the pattern with the desired relation (MEMB_V=-LEAD_V) as shown in the image below. Then I created an element tree of the pattern and stored it in a xml file so I can use it as template for pattern element trees later. However the relation is not included in the element tree. Creating the pattern with the element tree has the "Define increment by relation" still ticked, but the Relations window is empty. When I check the xml file I can see that the row that should have the relation just has ** as value: <PRO_E_GENPAT_RELATION_EDIT type="pointer">**</PRO_E_GENPAT_RELATION_EDIT> I tried to create that element and assign the relation to it by using the create function for wfcElements. The Create function needs pfcArgValue as input, but there does not seem to be a way to assign a "pointer" type value to it. C Toolkit user guide  says to

Happy Monday! In an assembly....is it possible to change select tool default from Geometry to Part so it's always default. This has been a pet peave of mine for years. In assembly mode I select parts an overwheming amount of times. I always forget to change from geometry to part. A slight annoyance. There probably is no solution and I would doubt anyone else even cares about this. LOL. 😁 Wayne

I used the MCD converter to convert an old worksheet. The converter changed a conditional statement from IF-OTHERWISE-RETURN to IF-ELSE-RETURN. It stated the results are still accurate, but that is not entirely the case. I don't know how to change it back to the original conditional statement. Is there a way to change it?

unable to activate license

I have a product key for the student version of MathCad Prime. I attempted to set up the license on my laptop but selected the wrong Laptop host ID. I need assistance changing the Laptop host ID associated with my license so that I can access it on my laptop. I have both the incorrect and correct host ID as well as my product key. I am using Mathcad Release N/A and DatecodeN/AMathcad launches but does not now show an active window. There is no icon on the taskbar but we can see it running in the background via task manager. This software was working no issues a few days prior, what we have tried is the following : Remove/reinstall, restart, shutdown, updated all drivers, applied windows updates.Can you please help us get this software working? thanks

Hi my current workflow involves input a few variables on the first page of mathcad worksheet, then jump to the last page to see the output results after lengthy calculations. I have to tweak the inputs so that the output can meet or at least is close to certain value range. This is not efficient, so I am thinking if the worksheet can take in multiple sets (say, about 100) of input, read one set at a time, do the evaluation, then write the output result somewhere/in some file; then it will jump to the next iteration.I do not want to rewrite the input as vectors, because this will require rewrite all formulas using vectorize operators. Thank you . 

I have an imported STEP with what looks like a small number of errors: 10 bad two-sided edges and one bad wireframe and, wow, 75 bad vertices.There's one particular inside radius that seems to defy any attempt to fix.

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0Hi, I have a question on: how to use a "solve" function inside a for loop or how to use it for solving variables from arrays or using the solve function inside a solve block? In the solve block, I can use Find or root functions but these methods don't give sometimes the exact solution to the equation on hand. And "solve" works the best for my case. I am creating a drawing in Creo Parametric 11.01.4.0. I have a diameter that I have a runout GTOL on that is also a datum. When I place the datum on the diameter witness line it is also automatically attaching it to the GTOL so that the datum is displayed twice. If I remove or move either of the shown datums they both move or are removed. The dimension shown on the drawing was originally a displayed dimension driven by the 3D. I tried recreating the dimension in 2D to see if that fixed it, but it too is having the error occur.

The license file has been configured, and all required ports have been verified as open.When launching Mathcad Prime and attempting to connect to the license server, the application reports that the license was added successfully. However, when I check the license settings, the server is not actually listed.
