Hi, I am new to Mathcad and have just learned the feature of collapsible areas. Now, does anyone know how to reduce an unwanted area within a defined collapsible area? Understad the inserted area automatically increases to accommodate more content as writing. But when I remove some of the content, it won't shrink, leaving with a large unused space in the worksheet. I couldn't find anywhere one could manually drag that area to reduce its size. Does anyone come across the same problem? I'm using PTC Mathcad Prime 9.0.0. Regards,Frank

HiWhen I create a section view in the drawing the hatch will create for regions that are not necessary and these regions are part of cut exclusions in standards. What should I do to prevent cut exclusions in drawing when I create a 2D draft and section view and prevent hatches on these regions?

Hello, I have the opportunity to purchase Creo version 3.0 M10 Essentials. I would like to ask because this version is already a few years old, is there any update, patch to download or improvement? Can I use the license key that I had from version 3.0 in Creo 4.0 or newer? I saw somewhere Creo versions with numbers M20, M60, I don't know what exactly that means?? I would be grateful for your answer and some tips because I'm really considering buying it 🙂

Hello,   I am sorry if this has already been discussed. I have searched for this topic without success. I am interested in production processing wood components through a 3 axis router using Creo. It appears that the NC Sheetmetal option is intended to do this with metal components. Is there a similar option for wood parts? How are furniture companies who use Creo handling production cnc wood components? Thank you,Barry

Hi again, I have sucessfully figured out how to borrow and return Creo licenses. The reason for this is that our VPN from home has been down for over a month. They are switching to another provider and hosing us in the process.  So, when I work from home I can access Windchill via the browser within Creo because we have a common access card to allow access. I am able to see all my work spaces. However, it shows nothing in them. I know there are files in there because I can see them when I look in a regular browser outside of Creo. I am able to search Windchill and open files in common space, which will now be in my work space. So it will show new stuff. I was wondering if anyone knows why all my work spaces appear blank from my borrowed licence scenerio described above. Thanks, WayneF

Hi All, When I try to open a model in Creo 9.0.6.0, it is taking more time to open (About 2 hours). The same model when opened in a different server, is taking less than 10 minutes to open. Can you please suggest what can be checked here? The server where I am facing this issue is a High clock speed server where we would generally expect better performance. ThanksHari

Hello, I am trying to install Creo 10.0 student version but when it comes to the licensing part and I enter my credentials, it's "processing" for a while, then says Error. I have no idea what to do. Thanks for the help in advance!

I'm trying to create a script for silent installation of creo 9.0.2.0. In documentation it is said that some xmls are needed to do that. So,  i installed creo 9.0.2.0 manually once and found that quality agent xml is missing. How to generate quality agent xml?

My question is about annotation - notes. The help page Understanding_Glyphs_on_the_Model_Tree does not have the explanation as to what is different about my Note_14 vs Note_19: It looks like some kind of an "out of date" glyph is applied to Note_14.  But what to do about it?

How do you unhide a dimension? I've hidden a dimension in my dwg, and I want it back.  I see that it is greyed out (and with a black square besid eit: suppressed?), yet I have no means to retrieve or unhide it.. I did find an older solution, that says I can unhide it, but I guess that "simple" method is now lost in Creo 9.. help?

I just want to know about Zoom to selected func. how they are calualting values of PanX, PanY and PanZoom. Please some one give me a quick answer. Or Any other idea how to get PanX and PanY position.it's urgent. Attached snapshot of the option.Thank you in advance.

Version: Creo 10.0.1.0Problem:I am working on a large .asm > create new empty part > activate this .prt in .asm > create a first feature (sketch, extrude, anything) > click on OK in the sketch > and creo zooms out (the larger the .asm is, the further creo zooms away).This behaviour occurs ONLY for the first feature in a new activated part. Once the .prt has any feature, creo does't do a "auto refit" when exiting the next feature sketch with Ok.Did anyone ever encounter that problem? I asked my reseller (and PTC), but nobody can replicate this type of behaviour. I tested it here in the company I am working and it is the same problem on every CAD workstation. I started Creo vanilla, without any setting and still the beviour occurs.Here are some screens. I created a large .asm (75m x 75m) by pattern a random testpart: Active a new empty part and create a sketch:As soon as I hit "OK" in the first sketch, Creo zooms out. So far, I can't even see the .asm on my screen any

Refer uploaded image - I want to change the line style of CTRLFONT_S_L, L_L, S_S, PHANTOM_S_S.    All these lines are appearing change in the model. so i want to modify the line length so that i can differentiate the lines in my diagram for different pipe sizes/colors.   Basically i need additional line styles to differentiate all my pipes/tubes in the plumbing diagram.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 5.0 and Datecode5.0.6.0We have tool design extension in Creo. While using Mold machining, we are facing regeneration issues. for example, if we add or remove any features in source file and if we regenerate in mold machining the extract id fails. if we change the source file to its original form and if we regenerate again in mold machining the regeneration error remains the same.Here are the errors that I facedextract id failure, regeneration issues
