I am trying to make a tire and cannot find what is wrong with my sketch. Also, it does not suggest anything. I have used the revolve tool before but I am very inexperienced with the program. I am also doing this without any sketch, so measures could be wrong.
Once I open a Solidworks part and make changes, when I save it there is a .creo extension added. How do I cut this off? I do not see it in data exchange.
I have been trying to install Creo 7.0 for a while, but keep getting a loading icon that disappears after a few seconds.I have tried running as administrator, disabling firewalls and antiviruses, and deleting all previous licenses and things off my computer (all at the same time). Does anyone have any insight?

I am looking for the command line utility or any other command line functionality to be used for converting the Creo family table generic part or instance to be converted to step file. I am not looking for the UI method as I am aware how to convert to Step using the Creo_viewer or adaptor. Is there any way we can run the Creo viewer in backend using command line ? I am searching on this topic since few days but no more info available. I really appreciate the expert guidance or opinion on this. I am using Creo parametric 7.0 or 9.0 and 10. let me know if we have any feasible solution 🙂 Thanks.

Hi. I'm using Creo 7.0.10 and I cannot find a way to change the line properties of a projected cosmetic sketch. I can change the properties of the lines within the cosmetic sketch feature itself (color and line type) but when I project the feature onto the surface, the projected lines are created with the default color and type. (orange, solid). See snapshot. I am trying to create a simple sewing pattern onto overlapped fabric, hence the dashed lines. I can do this with projected datum curves, but our (enormous) company Windchill is set up to always hide all layers for official Check In. Our system will also not allow us to create additional layers so I have that potential alternative working against me as well and there is 0 chance of changing that. Cosmetic Sketch gets me around my curve/layer limitations, but now I am faced with this new dilemma. Is there a way to change the projected feature properties or is this just how Creo works?
Hi,I have currently CREO 9.0.0.0 Student Edition installed. When I start the application, a popup message tells me that a new version 9.x.x.x is available. But when I click on the update link, an other message tells me that I cannot update as I don't have a customer number. Does it mean that the Student Edition cannot be updated ?
Is it possible to give show model annotations and enable all dimensions with snip line through toolkit
A cylindrical cake (torte) has a chocolate icing. A knife is used to gradually cut out pieces of cake with the angle alpha and then flipped over and reinserted into the cake so that the icing is on the bottom. We keep doing that - after one circuit, the cuts can end up in pieces that have already been cut. Of course, the glaze moves back up, ...If e.g. alpha = Pi/2 (90°), then after two turns the glaze is completely on top again.Question: For which angle alpha is the glaze completely up again after a finite number of steps? Friendly puzzle greetings!
Hi All, Is it possible to save the display state (hidden elements) without having to use "Save Status"? Thanks
Any Creo 10.0.x.0 release behaves as said in Subject. I will upload test data created in Creo 7.0.11.0 and video showing the "problem". Note: I already opened Case at PTC Support.
When I need to pass the parameter description from Drawing to PTC_COMMON_NAME of Windchill 12.1.2.0 thre are two ways depend if thre is a part or assembly in the model of drawing: PTC_COMMON_NAME:D= PTC_COMMON_NAME:0 for Part and PTC_COMMON_NAME:D= PTC_COMMON_NAME:1 for Assembly. There are any condition for to know if is a part or assembly in the program after upload to Windchill? Thanks. P.D. I work in Creo 9.0.3.
How to insert screws by positioning the screw on a cylindrical surface? I'm using Creo+ and I didn't find any configuration that enables the selection of cylindrical surfaces for positioning the screw head and washer. The red surface shows the location for inserting the screw head. This is the expected end result: Is there any automatic way for this positioning?

I would like to define a variable as [η] but typing the square bracket initiates a matrix definition.
Hi, I am new to Mathcad and have just learned the feature of collapsible areas. Now, does anyone know how to reduce an unwanted area within a defined collapsible area? Understad the inserted area automatically increases to accommodate more content as writing. But when I remove some of the content, it won't shrink, leaving with a large unused space in the worksheet. I couldn't find anywhere one could manually drag that area to reduce its size. Does anyone come across the same problem? I'm using PTC Mathcad Prime 9.0.0. Regards,Frank
“We try to test new things… our solar cells that we used 5 years ago are now the solar cells on your roof.” In 2004, a group of Belgian engineering students built a solar car to compete in the World Solar Challenge, a 3021km endurance race through the Australian Outback. Nineteen years later, the Innoptus Solar team is still going strong, with new students coming together to build new solar racing cars. They are sponsored by PTC Partner Innoptus (part of the 4ITEGO Group) and take part in races all over the world. For the team, success is all about collaboration and innovation, constantly refining the design of their car to make it faster and more efficient. They are currently double World Champions with their tenth solar car, the Infinite. Clever features like the fin at the back of the car improve aerodynamics and give them an extra bit of help from the wind, and a motor which has been optimised to 98% efficiency helps them to go faster. It is also a fantastic de
“The technology challenges we are facing as an industry are not so much how do we grow the size of turbines, but how do we increase their efficiency at their current size.” Wind power is playing a huge role in the global renewable energy landscape. In the United States, electricity generation from wind power is on course to potentially surpass coal-fired electricity generation by 2026. Across Europe, this is already the case, with electricity generation from wind exceeding coal for the first time in the region in Q4 2023*. Vestas Wind Systems, based in Denmark, are world leaders in wind turbines, they’ve installed more than any other company in the world. They have more than 40 years of experience in wind energy and were the first company to reach the 100 GW landmarks for both the installation and service of wind turbines. With higher than ever demand for wind energy, wind turbines are getting larger. However, that creates its own challenges, not least ensuring the whol
