I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.3.0I cannot open any Solidworks file types on from my Workspace within Creo. Other users with the same installation on my Network on the same server are able to open these Solidworks file types. This includes both *.SLDPRT & *.SLDASM files. I believe my Caches are set up to seperate WGM & Creo locations.Here are the errors that I facedCannot copy from the model selectedCannot copy from the model selected'700000625069.SLDPRT' cannot be retrieved.'700000625069.SLDPRT' cannot be retrieved.

I am trying to type the following into Mathcad for a lab:   I can define F1:=(f1*cos(a1), but when I press enter to input the second function, Mathcad exists the math block. I have tried searching numerous forms, but have not found an answer on how to type this in. Ultimately it should produce the following: Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to see more than four significant figures.   Can't seem to find a setting that would enable more significant figures from calculated values.

Hi all, I am trying to use Mathcad to symbolically carry out the 1st, 2nd and 3rd differentiation of a function with a stepped component. The first differential of the function yields plausible results. The first differential has the signum function. When I integrate the first differential result into my actual calculation sheet using the built in "sign" function instead of the signum function, I do get plausible results and the units are consistent.Here is the function and the first differential:However, things start getting a bit complicated with the 2nd and 3rd order differentials. Here is the 2nd order differential: As you can see, the symbolical evaluation of the second differential leads to the signum function raised to the power 2 and now I get a new DELTA function. Hi Partners, I want to run Creo Parametric in Chenese simplified.  (Creo Parametric 4.0 M020),   I have the license available and added it when I installed it. I have added "ENV=PRO_LANG=chs" to the end of the .psf file and set the LANG and PRO_LANG environment variables. Modified the following options dialog_translation yes help_translation yes msg_translation yes menu_translation both enable_popup_help yes button_name_in_help yes  It can't be helped.☹️     It works in the simulate module , even though the prompt window still pops up.😫   Any idea? I have been using MathCad since the late 1980s.  I am now retired and no longer have access to Mathcad 14 which I used with my old company. I want to access some old files.  MathCad Express will not let me convert them.  Is there another way to access the files?  I had a 1990 version of Mathcad but no longer have the ability to load it on my PC.    

I have licenses for at least twenty downloads of Mathcad 14 and at least ten downloads of Mathcad 15. However, when I look for the files, it says "not available". Please, I am interested in Mathcad 14 or 15 and have purchased more than enough licenses to download it to new computers. But now I cannot find it.

Hello , using schematic Lite Cabling Harness Manufacturing Advanced   i'm would like to know if it possible to modify the table (template) that is generated automatically when using Harness Manufacturing, and add more parameter. For example the wire list is generated automatically, i know in the window Hanress Manufacturing Extension  the TAB table we have possibility to create our own table but we don't have all parameter available in here. the thing is the wire list is good as it is but i just want to insert a column and have 1 more info creating thru a parameter in schematic I also tried to generate my own table with repeat region but for some reason i can't make it work i did follow the help document : Report Parameters for Harness Part Drawing on PTC website but i'm not able to get the information in the table. only thing that is working well is having &Asm.mbr.name everything else (like cable name and spool, entry_port...) doesn't work. i feel like everything creati

 When a step file is imported Creo creates a duplicate on the model tree. why does that happen and is there a way to get rid of the unnecessary top level?        

I can't use the command MAKE TRANSPARENT (I don't mean the Transparent command to set the display state) with the Geometry filter. I must obligatorily select Body as filter.But I can add that command in the mini toolbar in that Selection item...Is there a way to use Make Transparent with Geometry filter?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.9.0I created a harness assembly which has around 40-50 bare individual wires and were not packed with bundles. After flattening and detailing, the flat length differs from the actual harness wire length (which is common) but the difference value comes around 1-2 inches. How to minimize this length variation?

Dear forum, Basically, I am trying to analyse the forced vibration of a single span Timoshenko beam on elastic supports at both ends. I want to at the end determine the displacement w(f), rotation phi(f), shear force Q(f) and bending moment (f) at the ends of the beam due to a force excitation on one end of the beam. I want a plot of these paramaters over the excitation frequency f = 1Hz., 2Hz, 3 Hz....1000Hz. To obtain these parameters, I need to solve for a matrix system which looks like this: A.c = b. A is a 4x4 matrix for each frequency, c is a 4x1 vector for each frequency and b is a 4x1 vector for each frequency. So, based on my frequency spacing of 1Hz from 1Hz to 1000Hz, I have 1000 4x4 A matrices in the A(f) matrix, 1000 4x1 matrices in the c(f) vector and 1000 4x1 matrices in the b(f) vector. I have tried using lsolve to solve the system of equation for the c(f) vector but I keep on having an error message which says that the calculation does not converge

Hello! I created a solid via the ProSolidMdlnameCreate function with type PRO_MDLFILE_PART.The problem is I realized that the solid is well created but has not a coordinate system CSYS. Do you know why? I think it is normal, I tried to create a solid via Creo template and there was no CSYS too. And do you know how to create a CSYS in a solid with protoolkit C code? (I'm using Creo 7.0) Thank you very much!  

 I am new to creo simulate. I have a doubt in applying loads on multiple faces while simulating using creo 8.0. I have granite modeled with 14 holes. I have selected all the 14 hole surface and applied a load of 1000N.Now the question is, if I do so, whether the software applies the load of 1000N to all the 14 holes(i.e for 1st hole, 1000N, for 2nd hole, 1000N and so on) or it will divide the applied load by 14 (i.e 1000/14=72 For 1st hole 72, for 2nd hole 72 and so on). Actually i have found the same problem but could not find the exact solution. @gfraulini
