Why mathcad does not expand the term fully in symbolic? AM I doing something wrong? P1 does not expand in subsequent equation how to make that happen?

Can someone tell me what Relation should i use to create a Parameter that captures number of Holes in a Part. If I use Hole command in a Part to make Holes [Not Extruded Cuts] and did patterns for few of them, I want Creo to capture Number of Holes including pattern members into a Parameter called NUMBER_OF_HOLES @MartinHanak @tbraxton @KenFarley @TomU   

Few days I have problem with simulation and it gives below error. This error is the same for all models and for all simulations (thermal, pressure, etc.). Can anyone please help me I have to submit my project soon. "Integrated mode error checking found error(s) in the modelafter creating the Creo Simulate database."

Hi everyone!I have created a model in Creo Parametric 4 for a AR purposes. I wanted to create animations in Creo Illustrate 8.1 but when I select "Transform" I cannot select the original Csys from Creo Parametric, only this one created by Illustrate itself. Can someone explain how can I change that? Is there an option to select when importing model to Illustrate?    

I 'm busy with calculate the intersections of two lines as done here.  I think the variable y2 is currently the problem because it is a single value. In python(with numpy) i'm able to create a ones(length) array. How do i create a array (arbritrary length) where all values are the same?  

I have multiple closed sketches on a body. There are thousands of these sketches. I would like to create separate  parts or features from these closed loops . What would be the fastest way besides Creo Toolkit?

Hello Gentleman, I am running Creo 8.0 structural simulation. It takes a lots of time to run the simulation, while system is barely working CPU roughly 4% and GPU around 0. When I`m moving the 3d part the gpu goes up, so the settings are correct in the nvidia panel. GPU:RTX A2000 LaptopCPU:11gen i7-11850 @2,5GhzRAM:32GB Can you please help how to improve the system usage of creo? Kind regards,Balint.    

Hi Martin, I'm using Multibody design for smaller welded  designs. I call it "little assembly".It works very good in 3D modeling.Now my problem:When I create in drawing a section view, I only can see the cutted geomtry.All bodies behind are not shown.How can I resolve it?CREO 7.0.5.0   

Hello all,        I'm trying to emboss text on a cylinder in Creo Elements Express.  I do the following:   1) Create cylinder 2) Create workplane parallel to cylinder face 3) "Modeling->Modify 2D->Text to Profile" the text onto the workplane 4) "3D Geometry->3D Curve->Wrap on Surf" the text onto the cylinder        ...At this point I can use "Modeling->Modify 3D->Pull" to emboss the text, but it embosses linearly, as opposed to embossing out relative to the surface of the cylinder.  I suspect I should be using "Modeling->Modify 3D->Offset", but I can't figure out which set of options (if any) can accomplish this.         Any ideas?         -BW

I installed Mathcad Express (7.0 and 8.0 tested) on reseted windows 10 and it worked correctrly. As soon as I installed NET 7.0 (https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/thank-you/sdk-7.0.102-windows-x64-installer ) and rebooted the computer - a bug appeared:- create a text field (Ctl+T), enter the text;- enter the formula (Ctrl+Shift+M);- select the text (Ctrl+C);- paste the text - it is inserted without a formula (but if you copy only the formula, then it's copied correctly).Strange things:- The bug remains after NET 7.0 uninstalling. But I tried several times to reset windows 10 and after it bug is disapeared. And bug bring back every time after NET 7.0 installing and computer rebooting.- All others clipboard operations works correctly - only pasting text+formula into text area works incorrectly.Please give me a hint, what is special about this functional realization? Otherwise it is not clear what to write to NET developers in bugreport.

I am using Creo Simulate Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.10.0I am trying to run a dynamic load analysis for a large cyclical imbalance on a shaped beam. I can get the modal results. I applied sinusoidal loads in two directions to simulate the rotational imbalance. Simulate runs through the time analysis but I get no results. It looks like the load is not being applied.

I'm looking for what used to be called "Start Point" in sketcher -- or some other way to tell Creo where to put the sketch on a trajectory.  I see the  Setup > Feature Tools > Start Point, but it's always grayed out, not available.  I want Creo to put the sweep sketch at the other end of the sketched trajectory. In a search, I found another post about this, but the answer is for a much older version, so doesn't seem to work with Creo 9.  Is it another silly hidden magic click?  Or a completely different process?  Thanks.

I have an issue that just recently started where when I have an open model I can not drag the green insert here bar, even when I have the item checked out.  This is happening in prt as well as asm model trees.

Hello I'm struggling with PTC_WM_* parameters while MODELCHECK.  When MODELCHECK done it's job it shows me report where all of the parameters are marked as non existing in start part. But all of this parameters was created by Windchill in my start part and than start part was exported to the folder where all start parts suppose to be. How can I fix this problem so my MODELCHECK see PTC_WM_* parameters in start parts?Thanks in advance.      

Weird one this...I get random floating point errors in a quite intense worksheet. If I cut the offending formula and paste it, the error disappears.The worksheet contains too much information to attach it. I just wondered whether anyone had come across this and whether there is a solution. I've also had problems with some plots in the same worksheet as it says the matrix should have real numbers. I have added the Re() function which seems to deal with this problem most of the time. There are no imaginary numbers in my calculations that I am aware of. I'm reproducing calculations that run happily in Excel.
