The best gift for me from Santa is Animation tool in Mathcad Prime! (Prime 10 I hope) My New Year's Story.I don't believe in superstitions like jinxing a person, but...I ran skiing early in the morning on January 1st. A grandmother was walking towards the park and said: "What a fine fellow you are! They are still sleeping, everyone has a headache after yesterday's drinking. And you are skiing!"I went 100 meters, fell and broke my skis! I returned home on foot - the Mathcad does not work! Need to reinstall!
I solved the equation, but I did not like the answer in form. I expected I decided to try the vaunted artificial intelligence portal. Here is what I got. I immediately remembered the sensational story about artificial intelligence, which was instructed to broadcast a football match instead of a human TV-operator. The task was quite simple - to point the TV camera directly at a soccer ball - a smooth round object moving across the field. So, at some point, this artificial intelligence lost the ball, began to look for it and... captured the bald head of the referee, who was running around the field. So TV viewers - football fans until the end of the match had the opportunity to admire the bald referee.
I am a beginner. When I try to solve a differential equation problem, the "simplify" tool can not recognize the Sin(t)^2+Cos(t)^2=1. I have to simplify the equation manually. The attach file shows how I do this now. Is there a solution that Mathcad can handle the identity relation Sin(t)^2+Cos(t)^2=1.?
I have a data set of the circle's center coordinates and radius (the same for every circle).I am interested in generating this part, a square domain with randomly placed circular holes in it.I tried using the table pattern and datum offset method, but I was not able to do so.I will be overwhelmed if someone is willing to help. You can consider the origin according to the data set.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM080I'm in the process of making a detail drawing, which features a cross section. There is a keyword option for detail drawings that turns the cross-section name on the section leader lines on and off. What is that keyword?
How do i get rid of this warning message from prime
Hi!I cannot find how to use Flexible Modeling on Creo 9.Not even sure the license for this extension is active.Any suggestion? Thanks in advance
I'm very new to Mathcad, but getting the hang of it. I admit, plotting eludes me. I'm trying to plot one column of data against another in an X-Y plot. I just came across this post that explains you can't do this.https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/Needs-help-with-Plotting/m-p/273538#M106881 If I understand correctly, I can't plot a vector over a range. Good. I don't want to. I already have two vectors (at least I think so), but when I try to plot them, I only get the first and last data point. Seems like the Chart function works well. I have really tried to use the PTC Help, and I have found it really lacking for the beginner. Any suggestions on other resources? Many of my datasets and use cases are simply a range of X and Y data. I may have multiples of each, x1 vs y1, x2 vs y2, etc, all plotted on the same X-Y plot. My goal is to plot several curves, each with their own X-Y pairs. Do I need
I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.7.0I am having some issues in Creo, while generating the NC or trying to edit the sequence, it shows fatal error and Creo crasheHere are the errors that I facedfatel error encountered. A tracebake has been written to C:\Work\proefiles\traceback.log
Hi,I am new to Creo Schematics but I am in charge of creating artifacts, how to I add new artifacts to the central catalog? Peter B
Hi everyone, why is there no network card selector on the CREO installation? If I have a machine with many network cards or wi-fi networks cards, e.g. tplink nano, how doI select the mc address that interest me?Thanks for the time, Luca.
Hi all, Please suggest, how to do goas seek in the below attached calculation - mathcad prime 3.1
I can not install my Mathcad 14 on my new PC laptop with Windows 11. Please help. Thank you.
Dear All, I am in need of controlling the coordinate system position of a part (in the assembly-relation window) with conditional format for the pro program, Case:I have a assembly in that assembly one standard sub-assembly group will be there at middle portion and another component (Part-A) will be assembled in the left side so this will be my one of the requirement and that same part (Part-A) has to be assembled in the right side for my another requirement, for this i am assembling only one time Part-A in the model tree by using coordinate system (Part cys + Ass cys) so for the other case i need to change the coordinate system position so that Part-A will be moved to the opposite side, Please refer the attached snap. Thanks in advance
Hi, I'm making a drawing of a simple revolved part. It can be represented as one half section projection. However, I can't draw the dimension line for the diameter how I would like. In the first picture is my drawing now. The second picture (simplified case) shows the standardized way of drawing dimension lines in half sections in Finland. So I would only want the upper part of the dimension line and no arrow in the bottom end
Unless I missing where it is, I think this forum would benefit from a dedicated, user-defined (UD) functions-only sub-forum. Generally, the poster would link a topic of discussion back to the main forum for discussion. That way, the UDF sub-forum doesn't get loaded up with discussion. It make solving some problems quicker by searching an existing UDF. I have many UDF's that I would like to share but just dropping these in here makes no sense. Regards
Is there a way to change all hatches' pattern or fill color in a drawing sheet all at once? as the drawing sheet I have contains a large number of hatches and it's difficult to change each one individually.
Hi,In order to make the tooltip of a view appear (white window in the image below), I need to stay still on the view for approx. 2s, can I make it faster ? Or alternately delete the waiting time ?Thank you in advance.
On the occasion of the turn of the year, a four-leaf clover/shamrock is shown in the attached file (Mathcad 14) as a lucky charm. Unfortunately, I can't color the area enclosed by the contour. How can this be done?Kind regards, Alfred Flasshaar
Version 6.0.0.0 of the Ptc.MathcadPrime.Automation.dll assembly is resulting in an COMException being thrown, which is preventing the ApplicationCreator object from being constructed. I have had no issues with version 6.0.0.0 assembly before these last few days. I have replicated this condition using the same assembly for version 8.0.0.0, without any errors. What can be done here that does not include upgrading or downgrading the version of Mathcad?
I've written a function C with 2 inputs: a scalar and a vector; and 1 output: a vector. When I evaluate the function for a certain input there is no problem. However, when I try to compute the Jacobian of the function I get the following error: "The array index is invalid. The index must be an integer, not less than ORIGIN, and not greater than the last element."Strangely, when I get rid of the two bottom entries of the output vector of the function C, I get no such error, it produces the Jacobian matrix one would expect it to. This leads me to believe that the issue is in q_3. (I have made sure that 3 is no subscript but an index)Can anyone tell me what the issue here is?
Hi folks, In Creo NC, using Machine Tool Setup -> Parameter UI, I have edited the list of basic parameters visible in the "Parameters" list of NC sequence edition. Because it's quite a long list of basic parameters that I now have, I'm wondering if it's possible to customize the default size of the "Parameters" dropdown window in order to extend it downwards. See attached screenshot for visual.I prefer having a tall "Parameters" dropdown window rather than having to scroll the list to see all my basic parameters at once. Any pointers much appreciated.
I have my own versions of Prime 7 and Prime 8. My company uses Prime 7. Is there any way to take the Prime 8 files that I created and convert them to Prime 7?
I have a Mathcad file where many of the XY plots get larger when I open the file. If I drag the plot handle to scale them back to their normal size, they get large again the next time I open the file. This started happening with Mathcad Prime 8, and it only happens to one file, so far. The left upper corner of each plot remains fixed, its the bottom right corner that changes location. There are many plots in this file, and it is getting old having to resize them all each time I open the file. These are the embedded plots, not the Chart Components. This file is being opened from one computer.
Hello, I am evaluating Mathcad Prime 8s file converter capabilities through the express trial to convert 14 and 15 files. The converter tab is grayed out and I cannot click it. Any suggestions as to why?
