Hi ,When feature is suppressed , opening a drawing giving such type of warning , How can we avoid such warning ?Regards,Nimish G.
Hi, I'm trying to convert some excel sheets into mathcad, this particular one uses the summation function for variables features to be included, I've set up a table list to define the variables, these are calculated earlier in the document so I didn't want to simply input the values as they could change. I'm having trouble with a fewof things1. if i include beta.yi in the equation it displays the result as a matrix rather than a single answer a. I've managed to crowbar this to work with beta.y which as it is the same for both values (50 deg) to get a result but i'm aware that this isnt the correct final solution2. the summation results are double what i am expecting, by tweaking the "n" value from 2 to 1 the results match but don't match what i understood how the function should work as a. i=1 the starting value of the summation b n (n=2)
Has anyone come across the issue of a STEP file being a facet model?Have you seen any log file like the one on the left?I've had a few different people on Creo 7.0.4.0 and Agile PLM MCAD 3.6.3 inadvertently create STEP files that are facet models. They did create STLs of the models at one point. The STEP log file even shows the facet itemsI'm unable to reproduce this issue, or even a log file that looks the same.Import of STEP file: This is the facet STEP on left and regular STEP on right. Notice all the PLM-type attributes, like APPROVAL (yes these are from different PRTs)
I'm trying to insert an Excel component in Mathcad Prime 7.0.0.0, and I keep getting an error that Excel is busy. But Excel is not running. I have checked the task manager, and Excel is not open.Even in the list of background processes, Excel is not running. Read Excel seems to work fine.
When I want to apply a posture to a manikin in a Windchill linked session it reaches out to Windchill to grab the posture thumbnails. If I scroll down then it closes the drop down box while it reaches out for more postures. I end up having to do this 5-6 times before I can get all of the postures loaded and to the bottom of the selection drop down. Is there something I can configure to improve this?
I'm playing around with selected elements of a vector, or array. Suppose I only want elements 2..6. Why does Mathcad fail when using a range for the index, but defining an index as a range does not? Curious. Thanks in advance.
It would revolutionize PTC software if corporate would treat customers like customers instead of like guinea pigs. Do the QC before releasing new versions. Or, pay customers to find the bugs — and pay them out of the executives salary so they have some incentive to do their job and release usable software. Perhaps such a remarkable concept like testing internally to find bugs is beyond corporate comprehension, but it would truly revolutionize customer acceptance. 1. Describe your environment: What is your role in your organization?— I'm the one who has to make it work in spite of the bugs and garbage delivered. 2. What version of Creo Parametric are you currently running?— 9.0.2, But it does not matter, it's been the same for 25 years.3. Describe the problem you are trying to solve.— For all the bragging PTC does about working smarter and faster, the bugs, the inconsistencies, the UI hiccups certainly fly in the face of all the bragging. It would ge
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM140We are using creo parametric software. We are planning to send the assembly model to another customer. During model conversion we want to save the assembly model as single solid (IGES or STEP format) with out internal parts (only outer view geometry only). For the above requirement we are not able to save the assembly model in creo parametric. Here are the errors that I facedNot able save as assembly model as single solid file without internal.
By right clicking on a datum plane and selecting "Move Datum Tag", one can move the text location and Creo will connect the text with corner of the datum plane. But how do you move this tag back to its default spot and remove this irksome line?(Creo 2.0 M200)
Hi! I have very basic questions and problems with summation operator. Please see the attached worksheet for examples. First question, I'm not just able to understand how the high lighted sum (13) is calculated? Second example is shown also in the worksheet. How would you use the summation operator so that you could prepare worksheet template and define the n in the beginning of the calculation and then the formula adapts with the amount of n? I mean so that you don't have to change the formula by hands every time the n changes? Thanks in advance and sorry for the beginner level questions 😣 Br, Harri
Hello How can we add stud in Creo IFX lib. There is an article which states that it is not available yet. https://www.ptc.com/pt/support/article/cs336035 Is there any workaround available
Here's what I found in my pantry!Happy New Year!
The best gift for me from Santa is Animation tool in Mathcad Prime! (Prime 10 I hope) My New Year's Story.I don't believe in superstitions like jinxing a person, but...I ran skiing early in the morning on January 1st. A grandmother was walking towards the park and said: "What a fine fellow you are! They are still sleeping, everyone has a headache after yesterday's drinking. And you are skiing!"I went 100 meters, fell and broke my skis! I returned home on foot - the Mathcad does not work! Need to reinstall!
I solved the equation, but I did not like the answer in form. I expected I decided to try the vaunted artificial intelligence portal. Here is what I got. I immediately remembered the sensational story about artificial intelligence, which was instructed to broadcast a football match instead of a human TV-operator. The task was quite simple - to point the TV camera directly at a soccer ball - a smooth round object moving across the field. So, at some point, this artificial intelligence lost the ball, began to look for it and... captured the bald head of the referee, who was running around the field. So TV viewers - football fans until the end of the match had the opportunity to admire the bald referee.
I am a beginner. When I try to solve a differential equation problem, the "simplify" tool can not recognize the Sin(t)^2+Cos(t)^2=1. I have to simplify the equation manually. The attach file shows how I do this now. Is there a solution that Mathcad can handle the identity relation Sin(t)^2+Cos(t)^2=1.?
I have a data set of the circle's center coordinates and radius (the same for every circle).I am interested in generating this part, a square domain with randomly placed circular holes in it.I tried using the table pattern and datum offset method, but I was not able to do so.I will be overwhelmed if someone is willing to help. You can consider the origin according to the data set.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM080I'm in the process of making a detail drawing, which features a cross section. There is a keyword option for detail drawings that turns the cross-section name on the section leader lines on and off. What is that keyword?
How do i get rid of this warning message from prime
Hi!I cannot find how to use Flexible Modeling on Creo 9.Not even sure the license for this extension is active.Any suggestion? Thanks in advance
I'm very new to Mathcad, but getting the hang of it. I admit, plotting eludes me. I'm trying to plot one column of data against another in an X-Y plot. I just came across this post that explains you can't do this.https://community.ptc.com/t5/Mathcad/Needs-help-with-Plotting/m-p/273538#M106881 If I understand correctly, I can't plot a vector over a range. Good. I don't want to. I already have two vectors (at least I think so), but when I try to plot them, I only get the first and last data point. Seems like the Chart function works well. I have really tried to use the PTC Help, and I have found it really lacking for the beginner. Any suggestions on other resources? Many of my datasets and use cases are simply a range of X and Y data. I may have multiples of each, x1 vs y1, x2 vs y2, etc, all plotted on the same X-Y plot. My goal is to plot several curves, each with their own X-Y pairs. Do I need
I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.7.0I am having some issues in Creo, while generating the NC or trying to edit the sequence, it shows fatal error and Creo crasheHere are the errors that I facedfatel error encountered. Hi everyone, why is there no network card selector on the CREO installation? If I have a machine with many network cards or wi-fi networks cards, e.g. tplink nano, how doI select the mc address that interest me?Thanks for the time, Luca.
