We are planning to upgrade Creo Parametric to Creo 7.0.9.0. Could you please provide what are the main updates in Creo 7.0.9.0 vs Creo 7.0.5.0?   Thanks KB

I am using Creo Parametric Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0About Model CheckMy model check report is coming up blank.I only use it for overall size of part.

so when we create a datum and the a gtol the two associate in creo the problem though is if they are both on different view states in the model the association doesn't show. Is there a way to i click a gtol in one state and have the datum from another show. if it not can i have a note or something pop up telling the person where which state the datum exists in?

Using VB API with Creo 5 and as mentioned in the help file, I have set the configuration option regen_failure_handling to resolve_mode in the Creo Parametric session. Even after that solid.Regenerate(Nothing) does not regenerate the model. [EDIT]: Subsequently I created an object of type CpfcRegenInstructions and passed it to the Regenerate method as an argument, but the following line says "Class not registered":Dim creoRegenIns As CpfcRegenInstructions = New CpfcRegenInstructions ForceRegen, RefreshModelTree, UpdateInstances, and AllowFixUI are all set to True. Is there any solution to this?Thank you. ~Tushar

Dear colleagues,Mathcad 3, Windows 10. I resolve the system of equations. I defined the function named "Pt(I,I2,...,Cbb)" which consist solution (''n'', and ''p") of these equations.  In the next solve block, I try to fit experimental data - two rows - N33, P33 (where I1 is X). But unfortunately, minerre algorithm does not work giving me the error. The program is a bit busy, but the main problem is only in the last solving block. Probably someone could identify a problem in the syntaxis of the last solving block which tries to fit data by function "Pt" and parameters "Nt" and "Et". Probably the problem is that "N" and "Et" are vectors.   

with the VB API on Creo 5 I am using model.Erase()followed bywindow.Close() But the window remains open, though the model is erased.Is there a solution for this? Q: What is the equivalent API for 'Erase not Displayed'? I also tried window.Clear()but that was of no use. Regards,~Tushar

The width/height handling for tables in a drawing is extremely stiff and slow.  Is it possible to make the table rows, columns and/or cells to grow dynamically based on the amount of content (eg text)? Hello everyone, I would like to simulate the stress vs. load angle in Creo. Instead of creating individual load set for every 20 degree, I would like to see if there is a way to define the load with the parameter relation, and make Creo run the analysis for with a new load for every 20 degree.  The load magnitude will stay the same, but the direction will change. Hi,New Creo user here and I have searched the forum already for this issue. Every time I open a model, Part or assembly, it displays the style as 'Shaded'I have to change it every time to 'Shaded with Edges'.Is there any setting or option to keep the model 'Shaded with Edges''? Regards,~Tushar

I'm in the "Acquisisci Licenza"(Acquire License) phase of the installation of PTC MATHCAD. The issue is that while I'm getting the free 30 days of mathcad prime, the installation tool tests my eligibility to the program but stops telling me that "Servizio licenze occupato" (busy licensing service).I'm an MSc student of Aerospace Engineering so I should be eligible.Thank you.

Greetings,  I have several sets of data for the tested strength of a material. The maximum number of data points in each data set is 5, so I really don't have a lot to work from. Also, I'm not as handy with statistics as I would like to be, so I'm throwing this to you guys. I need to take this data into a function and output a single value that represents the predicted safe lower limit of the data set for which 95% of all future tested samples will be higher. I'm basing this function on the Kolmogorov–Smirnov statistic and Student's T test.  The intention is to determine the safest strength of material based on tested data, but not be too conservative. I wrote this to do what I intend, however I'm not 100% sure if what I'm doing is based on sound statistical thinking. Below is a screenshot of the function and attached is the worksheet. Please, play with it and inform me of your thoughts.

Creo 4.0 There are a couple checks that can be setup to point to another file to compare data. I've had success  pointing to files on a share drive. Since we are connected to Windchill, I would prefer to point directly to our start parts/dtl files stored there. With the current setup we have to maintain multiple sets of files. I've tried pointing to our wtpub directory just like we do for config files and that didn't work. Anyone know if there is a particular syntax or way to point to Windchill for these comparison files? Settings I'd like to point to a wtpub directory. (Let me know if I'm missing any other good ones?) STD_DTL_SETUPTEMPLATE_LAYERSTEMPLATE_DTM_PLANESI did also run into a bit of a snag where the reapply standard doesn't seem to work for my test user account. Though I fear this is a permission issue for the share drive and not Modelcheck related. Though if anyone has experience here, would also be appreciated.

Hi, wondering if someone can help me out with this one please? Mathcad Prime 7 I have a vector [A], which could have any number of rows, each element can be either zero or one, and the origin element is always one. I have another vector [B], which has the same number of rows as [A], and contains data (forces). I would like to create another vector [C], where each element in [C] should equal the corresponding element in [B] if the corresponding element in [A] equals one. If an element in [A] equals zero then that value in [B] gets added to the last element in [C] that related to a one in [A]. That continues until another one appears in [A], and it starts again. However, there is a small problem: why does transformation 28), at the bottom of the worksheet, go wrong? Hi All   This is my first post for help so bear with me.   I want to use Prime for what used to be fast and easy in Mathcad 15.   I have a work round but it is so slow so asking the forum if there is a better faster way in Prime. Perhaps a future scriptable data file saving component?   First what was possible in Mathcad 15   Mathcad 15 had a data file export component. This data file export component when you selected "Formatted Text" did four things 1) Text in double quotes ended up in text file with single quotes 2) Text in single quotes lost the quotes in the text file 3) Adjacent quotes "" to indicate no data did not appear in the text file. 4) Numbers stayed as numbers In this way a very large text file could be generated from a Mathcad matrix quickly   Here is a simple example.   Primes current file output functions cannot duplicate this Mathcad 15 data components behavior.   Second how I got around the limitation. Each with their own sub typesMaterial - TypeA             - A1, A2, A3, A4B             - B1, B2, B3, B4C             - C1, C2 My idea is to let the user to select the material and type. I was thinking on having a combo box to select a material and then a second combo box that would change depending on the material selected. I have been trying for quite a bit without luck.
