Creo 7.09 Win 11 Pro   When placing UDF features the placement UI window is not accessible after selecting the first placement reference. When operating correctly, the user should be able to switch focus between the target model window and the UDF placement window to map references. I am able to place a UDF successfully but not with the benefit of using the UDF placement UI window.   The same issue occurs when using copy paste special of features between models. The placement window is not accessible after mapping a reference.   Has anyone else see this happen?

Hi Folks, This is probably an easy one.  Is there any way to suppress the labels for solve blocks, or at least rotate them so they aren't such a mess?  The solve block works fine, but I don't want to use this in a presentation.  The examples in the documentation don't have the labels off to the left, so there must be some way to turn them off.Thanks 😉    

I'm building a matrix where the off-diagonals are equal (e.g. M(1,3) = M(3,1) etc.).   Is there a way to reference the M(1,3) to populate the M(3,1) element? That way I would just need to populate the diagonal and upper triangle and below the diagonal would be completed. thanks,russ

I installed the trial and only have basic features. Believe my 30 day trial was for the full featured Mathcad Prime 8.0. Otherwise, there is not way to trial all the functionality.

Hi, I am new to Mathcad and in the self learning stages. I am trying to plot a graph and getting the following errors: values in the axes must be real numbers or expressions. Can somebody guide me?

I am modeling an electronics chassis with circuit cards in it.  The material properties of the PCBs are defined in the model and they are showing as solid components in the  simulation domains list.  The fluid domain appears to appropriately have "negative space" where the PCBs are.  However, when I run the model and I try to investigate the surface temperatures of the PCBs by selecting them in "boundary conditions", selecting "yes" for surfaces and "Temperature" for a variable, nothing shows up.  When I do a cut plane through the chassis, the heat dissipation from the PCBs is obviously changing the air temperature, but I can't see the PCBs themselves   I'm a relatively new user so I suspect there's something basic I'm missing.  I've reviewed the tutorials and online documentation and it's not obvious to me what's going on.    @tmoser you were very helpful yesterday - much appreciated!  If you have any insight t

Hi Folks, I'm trying to do 3D plots in Prime 7 to show my students.  The contour plots appear correct on the screen, but the 3D plots (surface plots) don't.  They look OK when I save to PDF, though.  Any idea what I'm doing wrong?  PDF and screen shot are attached. Also, only the quick plot function seems to do 3D plots.  Am I missing something?  3D plotting in V15 worked at least as well as this. Mark

I have an assembly that for the life of me I can't figure out what the issue is.  For starters I am using Creo 6 and I have an assembly that contains 3 parts in it, with 2 of the parts being assembled using mechanism constraints.  The two assembled parts are completely independent of each other where one is a ball connection and the other part is using a slot and planar connection.  When I try to drag either of the components with both parts unsurpassed I get the error message that "the mechanism could not be assembled since some mechanism constrains have not been satisfied".  However if I suppress either one of the two components I can drag either one with no error messages.  Again both components are completely independent of each other so I can't figure out why I am getting this message that the constraints have not been satisfied.  I've attached the files for anyone that would like to  I would greatly appreciate anyone that can help me unders

I have a cylindrical, rubber isolator that is essentially bonded between an inner and outer steel tube in a larger assembly.   I keep getting a warning about the large difference in modulus values and my analysis keeps crashing.   Is it possible to bond different materials together in an analysis?

Good day,I am working as an IT Support for an international company that has a license for PTC.We have received a request from one of the Italy based users asking for installation of the software Mathcad.Checking "older tickets" regarding this matter I see that there were already few installations done in the past, the license is provided, however, we lack on information, setup files regarding the software.I have already contacted software distribution Team in our company however, since the last registered installation was about 3 years ago no one seems to be able to find any installation file / license/ application owner contact, no info whatsoever regarding the software.Can you please assist?Waiting for some direct contact from PTC Support engineers.Thank you,Kind regards,Edyta

Hello We have a real problem at the moment. We want to update our system to CREO9 and our service provider needs a complete license package. However, my previous access account seems to have lost some rights and is incorrectly assigned. The account is no longer allowed to download any CREO versions and in the requested license package only the Intralink versions are included the complete rest CREO / Windchill etc. is missing!!! However, we are not setting up a new server.eNow I wanted to create a new account with my e-mail address, but (removed email for Privacy) is not possible, your database says the e-mail address already exists. But I am not allowed to reset the password either, because there is an error message "Wrong format" ??? Is a bit suboptimal right now.

shape surface selection filter from flexible modelling will not work for normal editing features. it may be good idea to make a shape surface selection filter for normal editing features (or club both filters).

When the load is not very heavy - everything seems to be OK - see the first file. When the load is heavy, the center of gravity of the right section of the rope is in that place. Why? Send me please pictures with errors - not only Mathcad sheets!

I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.3.0We have recently switched from Creo 3.0 to Creo 6.0. In Creo 3.0, we have created models using Merge/Inheritance feature and checked into windchill. We were able to open the same models without having any issues. But in Creo 6.0, when we tried to open the models, it is losing the references for merge component.Here are the errors that I facedMerge reference part lost. Select the same part from different location.

Can someone help? I'm trying to create a pen table and would like to set Manufacturing volumes and Quilts to Pen 8 and have those lines print as gray. What would the pen table look like for that option? I'm printing to PDF.Right now I can only get those to print as their system color.Thanks.

Hi – I hopefully have a quick Creo analysis Flow question.  I have an assembly and in Flow it’s not letting me change the material properties of the solid domains. I go to each component and select the material from the pulldown menu and hit OK.  I then click on materials to see if my change took and it still displays "none" for material In an older simpler model I was able to change materials, now I can’t .  How can I fix this?  I tick the "force update" box and that doesn’t help Thanks! Mark

Hello, i have several parts that have locked paramters like this:I cannot unlock this parameter and therefore I cannot change the value of it.In the BOM in the drawing this parameter is linked. Is there a way to convert a MTR (Mold Analysis Material file)  into a MTZ file? A custom material can only be imported as MTZ file. Thanks in advance for your help! CheerEOMarco
