I have a user who has MathCAD Prime - 9.0. When they try to launch the program only the splash screen appears and the program doesn't open.If I run as Administrator, it does open.
I bought on 07.07.2025 a Mathcad Prime license, reference no. 508124416, via cleverbridge GmbH.Now I am waiting for the "Fulfillment Confirmation email" from PTC.How can I get my license and download link?
Hello,I am trying trying plot the I/V curve on the graph of the diode model, having as example from "Simulation on Mathcad the SPICE Model of the Diode Dmbr2045mfs.pdf" by Pedro Vitoriano.an somebody help me? Thank you.
HelloI noticed that when navigating through the model, you change what you're looking at by moving the model itself instead of your perspective. Meaning: the camera is fixed, and the only thing that moves is the model.I'm looking for a way to navigate through the model (while using a spacemouse) in such a way that the model stays still, and the only thing that's moving is the camera. Think of it like the model is a building, and I'm changing what I see by flying a drone to see what I want. I've been able to approximate the functionality I'm looking for, but what throws me off the most is that the center of camera rotation is always around an object instead of around the perspective of the camera itself. I'm using Creo View 10.1 with a SpaceMouseI've tried changing my navigation mode to Catia and PTC CreoI've tried changing my view mode from orthographic to perspectiveI've tried both 3D navigation methods "as defined by the general model" and "explore"I've tried inertial spin
Hello everyone, I want to output G-code like this for swivel head 3,4,5-axis milling. For 4 and 5 axes, required G43.4 before rotary motion, and for 3 axes, G43. Can someone point me to which section in the post-processor I need to modify to achieve the required code? plz check the attached post-processor file. and creo10 mfg file..(5-AXIS SWIVEL HEAD CLEANED PROGRAM)%O0001N3 G91 G28 Z0. Check out this video on Creo "NC Turning" from PTC Application EngineersPresenters: Lee Goodwin (Solution Consultant, Princilpal) and Ryan Butcher (Solution Consultant, Fellow)Original Date Presented: April 16, 2024 To dive deeper into the subject, check out Creo "NC Turning".
I am looking at updating our old start parts that have Pro/Intralink parameters in them which are useless now that we are in Windchill. I read the steps in Article - CS105842 - How to modify or remove Windchill Parameters in Creo Parametric but the parameters are still locked when I open the files in Creo. Any suggestions on how to get clean start parts. I have thought of creating new ones, but we have a lot of parameters that would need added. I saw an article that said ModelCheck can delete unwanted parameters, but it did not address the issue of locked parameters. Will ModelCheck remove locked parameters? Creo 10.0.4.0 and Windchill 13.0.2.0
Reference topic link @simran I also have the same problem, have you found a solution to delete the useless BASELINES?Thank you and good day.
I noticed recently ( I think it has been around awhile) that when you delete an entity that is patterned, it does not delete all the dimension of the pattern. A part is patterned: A family table is made: I renamed the dimension (distance apart and qty) to try and avoid confusion: Next I deleted the part that was patterned (which deletes the pattern too). But the family table still shows the qty (and on a different one, it didn't get rid of the dimension): Is this a glitch?

I am getting frustrated finding good tutorials for Schematics. I need to generate a Wiring Diagram(s) for a test rack. I have to generate multiple complex custom components (artifacts?) with large numbers of connections. I have done the artwork and have it in .DXF format. I have fought through and figured out how to load the DXF's into the editor, but I need how to figure out how to take the DXF and do pin assignments and make it a reusable stand alone component to put into a library for reuse. Does PTC have any online tutorial for Schematic? I am running 10.0.0. I find tutorials for some parts of this but they are years old and the instructions don't match the new rev. This ain't my first rodeo, but the inability to find instructions, or tutorials has me frustrated.
Created a sheetmetal part master view is the flat pattern. Created a simplified rep in the bent state. When we assembly the part in the 3D assembly the assembled components do not update to the bent state. We need one model to represent the component and allow the flat pattern to be used in the drawing. Our business has only 1 part number for the manufacture of this component. We do not want to create another CAD PART ---- BRAKET_FLAT.prt. This created unnecessary data in our system and complicate Windchill by dragging along unnecessary objects.
Hello,I am a student who uses PTC Mathcad Prime 11.0 for my coursework; however, starting today, the program will no longer open/run. I have tried restarting, uninstalling, and all the basic troubleshooting. After hours, I am at a loss, and this is the only way I could find to contact any sort of customer support at this time. Everything else implies some invalid product codes or says I need a support plan. I have purchased Mathcad Prime and have been using it normally for almost a month, so I am wondering what all this is about. If you need any specific info, please let me know.
Hi, I use creo 11.0 edition. When I want to select plane nothing happens
I'm brushing up on my Mathcad Express skills by writing a Roman-to-Arabic number converter, and thought I'd try generalising it slightly to encompass similar sign-value systems (eg, apostrophus and extended subtractive Roman numbers, and Hebrew numerals). Mathcad's Unicode range does, however, support Hebrew (and Japanese). I can programmatically create Hebrew strings ... ... However, I'm having a problem trying to paste Hebrew text into either a variable name or (of particular interest) strings - nothing happens. Text Box, no problem. Hence, the title of this thread: how can I paste Hebrew text into a Mathcad string or variable name? Stuart Addendum: This doesn't seem to be a problem for Japanese text. I also note that several such number systems aren't possible to implement because Mathcad doesn't (yet?) support their Unicode ranges (eg, Egyptian hieroglyphics, Sumerian cuneiform, Ancient Greek,
Running CREO 8.0I have a section view with 2 components not showing up in view. They are there but will not appear.I have tried excluding and including back and forth in VM States tab. I even cleared out my workspace and did the work all over again it was only a (5 minutes task).. I also created the view state all over again. and nothing.See screenshot of bodies in green that will not appear.I did notice in modelling that when I try to add the parts to the section they will not select but other parts will.
My AutoCAD human resource is taking 50hrs to trace the outline of something vehicle as seen in attached file. Our client has tons of vehicle images to be converted to .drg, bypassing 3D model. I was wondering if someone has a software that can convert image to as if drawn by a engineering drafting pen. .2mm / .4mm / 1mm sharpie. Thanks for all your brainstorming. This may save us a tons. Thanks in ADVANCE! So much of Creo.. So little time.!
Finally upgraded from Creo 9 to Creo 12 and it started completely locking up the system when adding a countersink to a hole feature. Contacted tech support and they said the Dell 7760 is not supported by Creo 12! This is crazy! So now I am supposed to go and buy new laptops for the entire engineering and design team?? Looks like I either find another 3D system or I am stuck with Creo 9. I didn't upgrade to Creo 11 because they moved the mapkeys out of the config.pro to a separate file that is located on the local client. This made the CAD much more difficult because one way to standardize and control process is by using mapkeys that were loaded of the server at the start point. Not happy with PTC...
I feel like Creo is slowing us down when opening an assembly, particularly large ones, because it is "Doing preliminary Mass props calculations" on every part it opens. I'd rather do that manually and save time opening the models. Any ideas? Creo 10.0.5.0, WC 13
I have an identification table (1 row) that I insert into a drawing and it contains &ID1:D.When I insert the table I get flagged with the 'ADD PARAM' menu. From here I select string, type my new value, and &ID1 gets added as a parameter in my drawing.I would like to be able to add a 2nd ID table that gets bumped to &ID2:D, so that on every table insert I get an additional parameter created in my drawing. These id's can range to well over 100. So simply creating (2) different tables, one with ID1 and one with ID2, will not solve my problem. Is this even possible? Thanks for your help!
I've found instructions to toggle a custom layer that include writing two .pro configs, then referencing those in the mapkey, but those instructions are from around 2012, and I'm wondering if there is a more straightforward way to toggle a custom layer with a single mapkey. I've currently got a mapkey that hides a custom layer, "CURVES", with the following code: mapkey z ~ Select `main_dlg_cur` `PHTLeft.PHLayerUI.AssyTree` 1 \mapkey(continued) `node0:CURVES`;\mapkey(continued) ~ RButtonArm `main_dlg_cur` `PHTLeft.PHLayerUI.AssyTree` `node0:CURVES`;\mapkey(continued) ~ Command `ProCmdViewHide` ;\mapkey(continued) ~ PopupOver `main_dlg_cur` `LayerActionMenu` 1 `PHTLeft.PHLayerUI.AssyTree`; Is it possible to modify this to allow for toggling? Currently using Creo 11.0.4.0
Hello. I'm creating a car in Creo Parametric 9.0. I'm currently modeling a wheel arch and need help. I don't know how to connect the arch to another surface. Here's a screenshot to help you understand what I mean:
Mathcad 14. File attached. I am trying to fill out this area which I believe launches excel and I get the following error: I was looking at the forums and some people suggested using Excel 32 bit instead of 64 btbut I already have 32 bit before I go through the hurdle of asking IT to reinstall this software (which might not even solve the problem) what can I try? thanks,
Mathcad 14. File Attached. Everytime I double click this box, I cannot type anything in the script anymore and I cannot edit itwhat is that box and how to edit it and get out of the selection to edit it? I dont want to remove or change because I am supposed to change anything in the script other than the input values.
