I have designed the schematics and assigned the color codes (e.g., BR, BL, BK, etc.). After exporting the XML file and importing it into Creo Parametric, everything appears as per the schematics, but the wire colors or cable details are not being reflected.Does anyone know why this happens and what the resolution might be?From what I understand, this could be related to the DMT file settings in the model. However, I’m not sure about the correct sequence or procedure to resolve this.If anyone has insights or the correct steps to fix this, please let me know
I have purchased a new computer because my old computer can not be updated to windows 11. I have Mathcad 14, #15, Mathcad Prime 3.1 on my old computer. I want to put them on my new computer and my question is whether I can copy the files to a usb drive and put them onto my new computer? Or cand is download the from and old download file? Or do I new to get a new download from PTC?Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, I have a question about restricting the tool within the milling window in high-speed machining (HSM), similar to volume milling. I would be very thankful if someone could share any sample files of HSM. regardsAsif
I have a huge library of existing parts and assemblies that were all created with the same start part and start assembly files. If I make a change to the start part or start assembly templates, will that have any effect on existing parts and assemblies, or will it only be applied to new parts or assemblies created after the template change?
see attached video for explanation if we redefine the assembly constraint from "by interface" to "manual", the message does not appear anymore in the above assembly.(view in My Videos) @CHENAMA @FF_11835266
Hello,I'm having trouble with Creo View Adapters proe2pv.rcp settings. When assembly has multiple multibody parts all of them are published using one shape and same is for having multiple parts with flexibility. This should be easily fixed by changing conversion mode to full, but I end up with the same result no matter which conversion mode I select. Only way I can verify is when I choose Conversion Mode: Minimum Memory, I can see in log file waring as this function is deprecated."proe2pv Warning: Publishing job with deprecated option - Conversion Mode: Minimum Memory. This recipe option will be removed in a future release of Creo View Adapter." If I run in batch mode from command prompt I can see that output is only one *.ol file for each assembly component. Publish jobs are run from Windchill and worker is on separate server. We are using Creo 10.0.5.0 and Creo view adapters 11.0.0.0. Any Ideas why is that happening? Or what I'm doing wrong? /Girts

I don't have a customer number or SCN, just a web account to manage my license.I have a version of Mathcad 14, I know it's old, but it works for what I do.My problem is reinstalling it on a new Windows 11 Laptop. It is on my Windows 10 Laptop but after a Windows update the operating system failed and is irreparable. The link I had to the Single User License is:https://support.ptc.com/appserver/lm/mathcad/call_logger/callLogger.jsp, and it worked but after entering the product code I get this error message:Invalid parameter values have been passed in. The application cannot continue. I couldn't log a case from that screen as well. From what I'm reading MathCad license retrieval may no longer be supported. I May have to abandon it and go to Smath Studio or some other program.
hello: I am relatively new to Mathcad and rusty on how matrices work within the program haha. I am trying to clamp a minimum value in a 5x1 vector in a spreadsheet i am generating for wind loads. I have a for loop that generates a 5x1 vector for one variable To which i use GCpnegzone4 5x1 to generate wind pressures in the following loop Which works... however i need to clamp the values to a minimum of -16psf per code. meaning it should look like this: the approach i have been using is taking the same for loop used for Pnegzone4 and adding a the min function in hopes that it will go by element and compare the min value and replace when necessary. However the code just reports the lowest value as show below: Any help on how it should look like would be appreciated! my file is attached Thank you in advance!
Just wondering if anyone has either gone through the Windows 10 to 11 upgrade while running Express 8.0 to see if it works, or has installed on a Windows 11 PC.Thanks
Anyone know why fluid domain color is red in flow analysis i have add fluid and solid domain and generate the mesh but it not generated for internal fluid domain i also attached the reference image
I am new to PTC but not new to FlexLM license servers. I have one server with 3 different apps with their own FlexLM. I have another server with just one application so wanted to install this new PTC license service on it. I was able to get it to install and the service to start but it will only activate one license at a time even though both services are started. Is it possible to run the PTC license service along side of another application? I found a KB that says yes, but does not explain how. The online instructions are not working as both are conflicting with one another.
Currently it's not supported by Pro/TOOLKIT to do also a "Revise" beside a Checkout of an object from Windchill using ProServerObjectsCheckout() like it's written in Article - CS254712 - What Revise and Check Out options in Windchill PDMLink are supported by Creo Parametric customization. This functionality would be a great improvement for further CREO-releases.
user should have ability to replace/reselect failed references in remove feature like in this example:current functionality is very limited here!User can only delete wrong references or all...Standard selection with <SHIFT> (up to boundary) should be accesible here 🙏
hi All i acutally have the same issue as this post here:https://community.ptc.com/t5/Customization/Using-the-VB-API-to-create-a-drawing-with-a-custom-template/td-p/17502 but the possibilities to fix mentioned there do not work for me, does anyone has an idea? i am using creo 7.0.12.0
In a Design Exploration session, I want to be able to save a STL or STEP file of each solution ; Currently, the save as option is not available
Hello fellow engineers, Recently I updated from Creo 7.0 to Creo 10.0. I am in the middle of a project so maybe it wasn't a good idea. When re-running a buckling analysis that used to return a BLF of about 2.5 in Creo 7.0, now I get values of about 0.5! Has anyone noticed this pattern? I believe the new 10.0 version is overconservative, as I have done hand-calculations to verify the buckling mode and the plates are nowhere close to buckle. I believe the solver must have been updated. The model in question corresponds to a crane with a telescopic boom, where the contact pads (usually solids to allow for contact definition, non-linear analysis) are replaced by a beams (linear analysis).
Hello, I own a student license and I use a desktop to make my school work at home but i do own a laptop that I take to classes due to it's portability, even being worse than my home desktop, I would love to use Mathcad on both but when I try to activate my license on my laptop it says that the maximum number of license requests were made, if I can't use the software on both my desktop and laptop it gets slightly useless, so I would love to solve this issue
Hi,One of my customer is facing issue when he tries to open the Creo elements direct modeling. The error says as LISP error, CAD Angle is not allowed. Kindly help me with a resolution.ThanksNaresh
Good morning community, I have a general question about how Simulate reports rigid modes when "with rigid mode search" is checked. I created a simple part with a surface constraint and released 1 DOF (in the Z-direction). I would expect Simulate to report at least one rigid mode that would show the assembly translating along the Z-direction. The animation does show this but it doesn't say it is a rigid mode. Wondering why that is? Is there a frequency threshold before Simulate reports the mode as rigid? I released 2 DOF of freedom (in Y and Z) and then it does report rigid modes. However, when I animate it, there is some rotation of the assembly in the first mode which I would expect only translation. I attached my assembly file.
Buen dia comunidad, tengo un problema del grafico de una seccion rectangular donde deseo graficar segun las coordenadas de un matris como se ve en el archivo adjunto, por favor si alguien me pueda oreintar. Version de Mathcad prime V.10.gracias...
Hi, I need help. I don't know why it can't find the variables.I have Mathcad 9.
I am having issues with importing a term table .csv file into Creo schematics 7 and unsure where to look or correct on the issue. The table seems to work fine with 1467 entries and seems to start having issues of not loading and locking up schematics when additional entries are added beyond that. I am also uncertain if any blank cells have to have an entry of UNSET or if they can be left blank. Is there a limitation on the number of SET columns that can be created. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful.Thank you,Scott
I am developing a UDF for screw threads and ports and need some support understanding whether a certain implementation is possible and how to manage references to make it happen. Insofar, I have defined UDFs with a coordinate system that every other feature ultimately points to and placed these UDFs using that coordinate system and one placed in the model, or the on-surface coordinate system option. My understanding is that the basest feature(s) appearing in any UDF will be what all the other features ultimately reference. Ultimately, we would like these UDFs to be placed with reference to an axis the screw goes along and the face the screw extends from. However, I'm struggling to figure out if it's possible to manage references in such a way that those are the reference prompts. I have been experimenting for a while and can't arrange datums in a way that accomplishes this. More broadly, I've been having some trouble defining UDFs to point to anything B
