Hello,I'm having a problem with PTC Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 20.5.2.0 : Sometimes I loose the little "cross" next to the cursor resulting in me unable to select anything (see attached files). I tried to close the viewport but nothing changed. The only way to get the cross back is to restart Creo. I can't find a way to reproduce consistantly the problem. I get this issue 1-2 per week. I hope someone can help me.Cheers !   

Hey folks,I’m running into an issue with Flexible Modeling in Creo, and could really use your help. Here’s the situation:I have a plunger part model originally created in SolidWorks. When I import it into Creo, as expected, the feature tree from SolidWorks doesn’t come through — it simply shows up as an “imported geometry id.” That means I can’t directly edit the original features. So, my only practical option here is to use Flexible Modeling to make the necessary adjustments. Now, here’s the problem:When I try to drag or offset the highlighted cylindrical feature (the main body of the plunger), it’s only extending along the conical surface. What I actually need is for the entire front body of the model to extend together with the cylindrical feature — essentially, I want the whole front section to shift forward as the cylinder grows. I’ve attached screenshots and the Creo part file (.prt) for reference. Hi,I have a part that has a groove in the shape of an arc (see screenshot below).In the drawing of this part, I would like to draw an arc to show the 'middle line' of the groove. This arc should be in the 'centerline' linetype so --- . --- . --- .Similar to the centerline drawn in the 2nd straight groove.In the drawing screenshot below, the red arc is what I want, drawn in centerline.How can I best do this?PS. Tring to generate a Kelvin lattice structure. One that once generated cab be inserted into the lattice feature to generate various lattice's. Has anyone done this or managed to find a good method of generating one?  generated a rough wireframe but sweeps, extrudes and blends didn't seem to be the right way about it.  Lattice i am trying to re-create can be seen in the following file https://s3.amazonaws.com/servicecloudassets.formlabs.com/media/Materials/Silicone%2040A%20Resin/lattice_watch_Silicone40A_STLs.zip 

I have configured ModelCheck in Creo 11 to update part, assembly, and drawing parameters.When I run the ModelCheck in batch mode, only part and assembly files get their parameters updated and designated as per start file. Drawing parameters only update if I manually start ModelCheck Interactive. I've gone through the check file multiple times, and the settings (YNEW) are set identically for both Interactive and Batch mode in all checks so I would think they should work the same way whether I run Interactive or Batch.Again, the updates work for all files in Interactive, and for parts and assemblies in batch. What am I missing here? 

I'm echoing values from another work sheet using the Include function.  I want to show a variable equal to the original value but not evaluated to a number.  SYNC bus:=VAZ I gather that I need to use symbolics.  Can't find the right combination of modifiers.

Model enclosed for review.   I have a trivial sketch that is not correctly constrained when using a relation to control a sketch which is a parent of said constrained sketch.   First sketch serves as parent of sketch 2   Sketch 2    Video showing that when driving sketch 1 using a relation to drive dimension d10 in sketch 1 the constraints in sketch 2 are not maintained correctly.   Anyone have any insight into why?

Hi all, I am trying to obtain the equation of a line (p'/p=1.0, the top line) from this image of the graph. The graph is in log scale and I have no reference to the original source of the graph, hence have no equation for it. Is there anyway to use Mathcad to obtain an equation. I am using Mathcad prime 9. I have a ratio based on two variables: e' and d. If this ratio is larger than a condition, I want to assign d' to d and then recalculate the ratio. I want to keep the same variables; I just want the value of d' assigned to d and the ratio above recalculated. Is this possible? I have attached the sheet.

Hi, we are currently using Creo 11 with SAP as our PDM system. We also want to use Advanced Framework.When using AFX connectors which are not project specific (e.g. ITEM universal connector) we want the connectors to be loaded from the library. When inserting such a connector in an assembly the component is just in session with no path (Tools -> Model information). When the assembly then is saved, a copy is written in the working directory. When I close Creo and reopen the assembly the component is taken from the working directory. When I remove the component from the working directory and reopen the assembly in Creo, the component is loaded from the library.When using the standard Creo assemble feature it looks like the component is first opened in Creo and then assembled. Something must have changed since it was working with Creo 9. Is there any setting that could help getting the non project specific components directly from the library (with path reference to libr

Is it possible to create or redefine a simplified representation in Creo Parametric WITHOUT causing it to activate? I often will make adjustments to an arbitrary simp rep while the model is open in an empty rep. However, the only options I see are "Open", "Cancel", and "Apply". Pressing Open is the only way I know to actually save the changes made, which forces the simp rep to become the active rep in the model. This can be extremely frustrating when working with a massive assembly.I would love to see this screen have options like "Save", "Apply", and "Cancel" instead of the current set.

Hello! Is there a way to alphabetically sort the list of layers when importing an XML into creo cabling?  See the picture below for an example.  We use a lot of layers, so it's difficult to sort through a long list like this to find the proper one.Thanks!

Hi everyone, I'm trying to run a simple Java application. I have jdk 17. I checked Creo Object Toolkit Java in the installation. I'm struggling to find what to put into my classpath/ if I need one at all. The requred .jar files I've seen mentioned online don't seem to be in my install, but those pertained to older versions.
