Hi to all,I have recently update my PTC product from Wildfire 5 to CREO 2. Until I have used Wildfire 5 I could import XML cabling file in Pro/E (from Zuken E3) with no problem. In Creo 2.0 when I try to import same file I receive an error about spools. In practice, CREO does not accept the separation character (ex. 0.5) of the spools. Infact if I modify manualy the XML file and change 0.5 in 0_5 the problem is solved. So my questions are:- how do I replace automatically "_" instead of "."? - why in NWF file, the same spools with "0.5" is properly interpreted by CREO with no error?Thanx

Password Reset and New User Account Emails are not being sent to the users from the server. The "Send Test E-mail" button on the Enter E-mail Configuration window successfully sends emails to specified users but when resetting passwords and adding new users no emails are sent to users stored emails.The XML file has all the correct lines referenced in CASE: CS69595.

I use Creo elements/directs drafting Mixed UI 20.7 But in one day I drew a rectangle result in a parallelogram automatically. Who are know the tips to fix this case?

Does PTC offer perpetual license for Creo Parametric 11.0 or 12.0?

So if I create a threaded hole feature I can see the hole callout on screen giving me the details of the  that hole feature.BUTIf I create a counter-bored hole feature I get no hole call out.Why is this? If this is a setting that needs to be adjusted why is it not uniform by default?

Greetings:I'm really struggling to understand Creo's drawing module and one of the issues is hole callout.   I was told that the drawing mod.  does have that ability and you have to use 'Show Model Annotation"  weird but okay.  So I found out a how have hole call out show but the callout is not what I was expecting.   Need some help on this been at it for 1/2 cay and still can figure it out.This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Is assembly with fix option a solid hold ? meaning it will not move . What does fix relate with in asm. Like what is it constrained to ? I hope its not free floating in space and moves uncontrol. ANDWhat is the difference between fix/default/csys ? THANKS IN ADV

 Hello, I want to customize the serial numbers shown in a repeat region table in Creo drawings. Instead of using the default linear numbering (1, 2, 3, ...), I’d like to apply a more structured format like; 1_11_2234_14_24_3567This is especially useful when I need to group sub-items under a main item, or indicate logical associations between parts in an assembly.I've tried using rpt.index and creating relations in the repeat region, but I’m not sure how to dynamically generate such custom values.  What’s the best way to set this up in Creo so that the table updates automatically based on the model?

Dear PTC Support Team,I am reaching out for assistance with an issue I’m experiencing while trying to activate a license using your License Indicator. I received an order number from my university and have been trying to generate a valid license based on that.While I am able to request the license and it does appear in my files, the status is always shown as “Not Eligible.” I have already attempted several steps to resolve the issue, including:Deleting and reinstalling the license filesCreating a new PTC account with a different email addressReinstalling the software entirelyUnfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the issue, and the license remains unusable.I would appreciate your support in resolving this. Good day.Has anyone encountered this error message in the log of messages?No relations have been defined for this model.I am seeing this in a few of our programs but cannot seem to find any "wrong" relations within the various parts or sequences.This creates an extremely long set of log messages which cannot seem to be resolved.I have found this article from Creo3 (2015) but with zero answer to this specific message inside, despite mentioning it... Currently on Creo 9.https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS196584If there are no relations and it  provides this error, is Creo indicating a requirement for relations in the sequences?Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello, recently I am using CREO parametric 11 for a project, and I have found useful STEP files online that I need. However, when importing they seem to lose many features and even the ability to edit them in basic ways. Is there a way to import STEP files so that they can be edited?

Would anyone care to comment on the Mold Machining Extension (MMX)?  What does it offer over and above what is in the NC complete set module for 3 axis milling?

Hello Creo experts,I have a question regarding volume milling. I have often chosen to use rough or HSM sequences instead of volume milling for roughing operations. However, I've noticed that the cycle time for HSM and rough sequences is not as good as I expected. Despite being named high-speed milling, the cycle time is actually longer than the volume milling cycle for the same pocket size. Can you please advise on the parameters I may be missing to achieve a shorter cycle time compared to volume milling on the same size pocket?Regards,Asif Fisa

I use Creo elements/directs drafting Mixed UI 20.7 on Lenovo LOQ gaming 2024 having RTX 2025 Nvidia When I draw any Geometry (Line, Circle, Point, Rectangle,...), I can not see it on displayI had tried to solve by checking Geometry setting, Viewport -> setting, Setup -> show -> Layer. But all fault. I see that I open Setup -> show -> Layer, change color to White and save. But, when I open again. It is still default with Black. whether is that the cause? What is the way to get ? Or. Who are know the tips to fix it? Thanks

Hello,I have attached Mathcad prime 9 document.  I'd  to iterate thru sections and select the proper section size that satisfy certain design criteria. On page 3, the TC sections are listed as shown belowThe member is selected manually until the interaction ratios (IR) on page 6 (shown below)and interaction ratios on page 11 (shown below)are all equal or less than one.i Just want to automate the process. Thank you for your assistance!Sam

Hello I am trying to install mathcad for a company that I work for. The provided license only works for mathcad up to version 10 and the current express installation manager only allows me to install mathcad 11. I have installed 11 and tried the license and it does not work. I have found multiple community posts on how to install these version but they all use the same express installation method and it just seems to pull the then current available version. How do I specify the installation version?

Hello All, I have a mathcad project where the output is required to have in a matrice form which I am unable to. The function will work like the following, for each value of beta it will give a column of outputs and thus for the number of varibale beta, it will generate corresponding number of columns. Please help with a solution Thanks

We use a method of joining to sheet metal using a process called tog-l-loc also known as clinching which cold-forms the part metal using a special punch and die to form a strong interlocking clinch joint. The result of the process is a round, button shaped extrusion on the die side of the assembly, and a small cylindrical cavity on the punch side. The clinch joint requires only the sheet metals that were joined. No external fasteners, or welding is utilized in the process.I'm trying to re-create the joint using punch or die, does Creo have the ability to punch(form) two sheet metal plates simultaneously in assembly? The thickness of both sheet metal thins out after the operation. See attached image. Let know your thoughts or ideas. 

Hi,I am using creo 9 and on one of my drawings I have a section view that isn't showing up. The section shows fine in the model, but on the drawing, hatching appears on the view, but it is not cut.  I have tried flipping it and using a local section instead of a full section and switching from a projection to a standalone view. If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. the 

I am assisting a client with computer migration for their firm.  While migrating 9 users/devices to new Dell Precision Workstations with Windows 11 Pro, 8GB GPU, 32GB RAM, I7 CPU, I have encountered an issue with 2 workstations that have this same issue.  I have activated the device licenses successfully and no matter how many uninstalls/reinstalls, removal of PTC folders etc, the software for only these two brand new devices fails to launch in a usable program window.What is interesting is if I click around on random areas of the white program box I can get some program menus to respond and appear above the white screen (See last pic)Any advice would be appreciated.Thank you
