Hi everyone, I have a multiple mapkey but every time I need to choose the same folder to save each mapkey... do have you a solution to save all the files in the same folder in one time?Thanks in advance my Mapkey : mapkey exp @MAPKEY_LABELexport fichier neutre;~ Command `ProCmdViewRefit` ;\mapkey(continued) ~ Close `main_dlg_cur` `appl_casc`;~ Command `ProCmdModelSaveAs` ;\mapkey(continued) ~ Open `file_saveas` `type_option`;~ Close `file_saveas` `type_option`;\mapkey(continued) ~ Select `file_saveas` `type_option` 1 `db_617`;\mapkey(continued) ~ Update `file_saveas` `Inputname` ``;\mapkey(continued) ~ Activate `file_saveas` `view_favorites`;\mapkey(continued) @MANUAL_PAUSEENREGISTREMENT FICHIER PDF\n1- CHOISIR EMPLACEMENT\n2- SAISIR NOM DU FICHIER\n3- CLIQUER SUR REPRENDRE;~ Activate `file_saveas` `OK`;\mapkey(continued) ~ Activate `intf_profile` `OkPshBtn`;\mapkey(continued) ~ Select `main_dlg_cur` `PHTLeft.AssyTree` 1 `node0`;\mapkey(continued) ~ RButtonArm `main_dlg_
I am using Creo Parametric Release 4.0 and DatecodeM100Hello, I recently renewed and updated two my licenses. I used the reconfigure tool and that seemed to work license check mark appeared and license said available. I closed and launched Creo, I had to re-register my server the old one was gone from before the license reconfigure. I put in the same server location and I get the error: server location is incorrect. I still have other users that are signed in using untouched licenses and there server location works works fine. and they can see all the folders etc.
I'm currently working with CREO installed on my laptop in China, but it's different from the model I downloaded remotely from the server. The model I called on my laptop shows as fixed in the database status item, and my workstation in Japan shows it as downloaded. Check-in has been successful. How should I change the download file to work on the PC side? Translated by Iuliana Lazar with Google Translate on 25 oct 2022.
Hey guys, Just start learning Creo. I now have a problem: In the instruction, instructor does a lot of right-click, will have a pop-up menu, as shown below. Mine will not show anything. Is there some setting? How do I change my software? Or how can I define the angle between two lines? Thanks!
I am working on a drawing for a part (that someone else created) and there is a view that should only include an extrude being used for text. I have removed all the edges from the view. Everything looks great except there are two lines in the view that I can't select. After some investigating I discovered they are being added by a round feature on the part (suppress the round the lines go away). I still haven't been able to figure out how to get rid of the lines, not even sure why they are there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I I want to add Copper material to the cylinder and aluminium for the box below. But when I do, the same material gets applied to the entire object.please help!!!

Morning All, I'm sure this will be a simple Q. However, I'm unable to determine how to set my simulation to apply a thermal conductivity through the model? I've got two heat sources on the top surface of the model, 600W source each. I'm passing a flow of air of a series of fan blades & thus want to determine the effectiveness of the fan blades. When I set the simulation up - I am able to determine the effect of the heat source on the surface of the model however I think that the heat isn't being transferred to the fins in a method I would expect. My results can be seen below. Streamline HeatTop down Model View Heating EffectFront On Heating Effect Temperature Effect This all looked promising. However, when I section the model, I see that no heat has been transferred through the model. I can confirm this through the streamline heat, see images below. Streamline UndersideHeat X-Section A little bit more of further
Sorry for this basic question, it seems that I'm old and memory problems !!!I have a simble "box" that I would to unbend.Impossible to find anymore how to cut corners...I've done this many and many times in the pass !Several years ago...Very sorry !-(
Please tell me how to publish files created with creo7.0 or later with creo5.0.
Hi,allI'm having some issue with Options Modeler and i don't know if it's a module limitation or a bad using from me.Here is a quick example of my issue:I've got four parts:-Body (that will allways be there)-Part A-Part B-Screw (that should be there if i have Part A or Part B or Both) Part A and Part B doesn't belong to the same option. The choices are:Option 1 -yes -noOption 2 -yes -noI have assigned choices like this:Part A is include in Option 1 choice yesPart B is include in Option 2 choice yesScrew is include in Option 1 choice yes ; Option 2 choice yes The result in Creo is:Option 1 choice no ; Option 2 choice no -> Body Option 1 choice no ; Option 2 choice yes -> Body ; Part BOption 1 choice yes ; Option 2 choice no -> Body ; Part AOption 1 choice yes ; Optio
I find it ridiculous that we cannot choose Z as up axis.I have tried selecting "user defined" as standard orientation, but it will only turn x and y angle.I have tried making own template part and template assembly and replaced the standard CSYS with one that has z as top (up). But then the actual system orientation is still Y up, and my exports will still be oriented wrong anyway. So either choose to always have my exports in wrong orientation, or always view my models from wrong standard orientation What are your best work around for this? 😃
This may be a somewhat silly question because I'm relatively new to Creo, but for some reason I can't project my equation-defined datum curves into a sketch. I have followed the support page for this exact process but when I try to select the curves for projection into my sketch, nothing happens and the curves aren't selectable in the modeling window. For reference, I am using Creo Parametric 7.0 and am trying to design something defined by epicycloid and hypocycloid curves.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.5.1I have an assembly that has 1 out of several simplified reps using automatic reps instead of the user-defined reps that it is supposed to use. I found a reference in the help docs describing how to open a simplified rep using automatic reps, which is temporary, and how to make it permanent, but nothing on how to revert it back to using user-defined reps. Screenshot of 2 simplified reps' model trees attached. I tried redefining the first level subassemblies to use the correct user-defined reps, but the second and lower subs still use automatic. I have checked up to 5 levels deep.
I am using Creo Parametric Release 8.0 and Datecode8.0.6.0We are trying to get the license file/server to load the Design Premium Professional first, then load the design essentials licensesCurrently we have 2 floating for Design essentials and 1 for Design Premium Pro the license file is installed on the server and when people run the parametric link on the desktop it loads desin Ess. not Premium. and when you got to use functions under the premium license it fails saying there are no options loaded. even when there is no one having the design premium license checked out. The only way we can get it to run right is to have someone log into two workstations using up the design ess licenses and then running Creo it will check out the premium license and allow us to use the advanced features. Is there a way to add something to the options file that tells it to either choose or pick the Premium by default?
I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.5.0I received a file (.asm) that contains an sub-assembly with a icon that I do not know. Similar icon to assembly type, but gray color...What is it? how is it created and how is it modified?
My client often sends us their sheet metal part in STEP, that we import in Creo, and we transform in Sheet metal. When we have hole with Countersink, the Convert to sheet metal will take the size of the hole on the side chosen, and convert in simple hole, then if you chose the wrong side, the hole will be on the size of the Countersink instead of the hole, I there a way to keep the countersink after the Convert to sheet metal feature? In example, my client has forgot to specify on their drawing (drawing with only a few important dimension) on his part. The part is big with small hole, and I don't have seen the countersink, and we have cut the part with the hole at the bigger size. Normally, I see it, and after the Convert to sheet metal feature, I have to find the hole, and add hole feature again to add the Countersink. If there was a way to keep the feature, this will help greatly with the import of sheet metal part.
Hello.Im trying to set up the drawing templates for SmartELECTRODE, but I've got some difficulties I hope someone can help me with. The problem is when trying to add EDM positions to the drawing, using a custom (repeat region) table, it will add positions of ALL electrodes, where I only want to add the positions of the electrode on the current drawing (I've chosen option "One sheet per model"). My template looks like this: TemplateAnd this is the result:ResultAnd its funny because if I add my custom table (which I've saved as a .tbl file) after the drawing is the created by SmartELECTRODE, this is what I get:Table added manually (correct)Another "weird" thing, there's probably a reason, is that when using the table from the original drawing template (see picture), Table template in ASM_EDM standard drawingthe correct values will be added to the table. (see picture)Result using standard drawing table. Also when this is fixed (if it possible) I'd like to merge the "ASM_EDM" draw
During Creo additive manufacturing, most guides export files to 3mf. However, only G-code can be read when reading from a 3D printer afterwards. Is there a way to export it directly from Creo to G-code? I am currently using creo 9.0.

Hello, We migrated from Creo3 to Creo8, and the thing that is very annoying and i cant turn it off, is next. When I work on assembly and than click on part in graphic window, it automaticaly jumps on that part in model tree also. In Creo3 it did not jump on that part in model tree, You had to right click on the part in graphic window, and than there was option in dropdown menu 'Show part in model tree'. I would like this function back in Creo8, is there a way? Automatic 'jumping' is sometimes useful, often it is not. I seem to spend 30% of my time just scrolling through model tree to find things. I have a lot of skeleton sketches in assembly model tree, that are used on multiple parts. Now averytime I activate the part in graphic window, it jumps to that specific part in model tree, and I have to find that sketch so i can choose it (for a pattern for example) again.
Hello, in my BOM I can see that a specific part appears twice, so it has to entries in the BOM.I used it in total 24 times in my assembly. One entry has 16 parts (qty), the other one 8. It is for sure excatly the same part (.prt), still I am not able to combine it. I saw the following article: https://community.ptc.com/t5/3D-Part-Assembly-Design/BOM-not-merging-part-quantities/td-p/571318 I did excatly the same, still the problem occurs. Let me know if you need some files, but the file is quite a big assembly with many many parts. Greetings Spedex
ModelCHECK is telling me that I have views that do not have scale assigned, but my views DO have Default scale assigned. Is VIEW_SCALE working as intended here? I would think that Default scale would count as an assigned scale.
I am trying to create a drawing template that uses a simplified rep for a view and a bom table that only shows the items shown in the simplified rep. My template uses the simplified rep but the BOM table still shows all the items and qty's in the entire assembly. Any suggestions on how to acheive this? Thanks, Brian
