Quando avvio drafting 19 mi si blocca sulla schermata iniziale e nelle gestioni attività compare: Color_menu_rgb NON RISPONDE !!!!  Qualcuno sa aiutarmi ????  Grazie.  Cristian

ASME Y14.5M-2009, section 3.3.2 states " . . . Where the same datum feature symbol is repeated to identify the same feature in other locations of a drawing, it need not be identified as reference. . . . . "   However, in Creo 7.0.1 drafting, when I add datum symbol(s) to the same reference in another view, Creo automatically assigns the next letter - and then Creo complains when I edit it to what it should be, and flags the symbol as a 'duplicate' (despite what the ASME spec says)! Is this a know dimensioning deficiency in Creo, or is there a setting someplace to correct this? Or, is there a reasonable workaround?

Hello,  i am trying to implement a .NET DLL compiled in MATLAB within an Addin-Module created with the .NET API Wizard in Visual Studio 2010. Hello all I'm new in Direct Modeling, could somebody share to me how can I add dimensions in Isometric views, I tried with Docuplane but it says is not works for not standard views. See attached picture1 for final view result.

By default Model Managers Quick Search tool only looks at Unique ID strings. Is it possible to broaden the Quick Search to include more attributes?

Hi Community -   I’m trying to export a complete assembly from Creo Elements/Direct Modeling 20.3.0 w/ Model Manager Extension for another partner on my project. I’d like to make sure to include the export on the Model Manager Data as well with the exported assembly. (The Model Manager extension for Creo Elements/Direct Modeling allows a user to track all of the parts within the assembly and shows the Revision History of each part. The Model manager provides details such as part names with their version, when it was imported, and the last time it was updated….)  Questions   Do any of you know if the Model Manager specific data is saved and transferred with the export of the assembly? Do we need to do something additional to export the linked Model Manager information? Does the file type/save-as matter ( .sdexp)?   Please see example images below. In the Model Manager Workspace, you can see the revision history for each part in an assembly. We want this information

Hi PTC   I recently acquired a new work PC and I had to re-install Creo Elements 8.0 (free version)   On my old PC I did not have to use the Manual Activation, it would just load up straight away but for some reason that is no longer the case!   Now it does not find internet connection and when I then use the Manual Activation Key I get the following error message;   “The activation check for Modeling Express to run on this machine failed because of the following reason:   The activation code you entered is invalid.”   Can you please help as I regularly use this software?   Thanks

Hi there,I am trying to model a nose cone/end surface with G3 surface conditions (as shown in the image below/ZIP file of model attached). I am using PTC Creo 7.0.   I have sketched a number of reference lines to control the length/width/depth of my surfaces, as well as adding ribbon surfaces. All of the spines in style have G3 end conditions (including the internal influencing spline). I am seeing the error reference a lot:   "The cross curves are not connected with the same continuity as the connection"I am not sure what this error message is referring to or how I should be modelling this feature to achieve a G3 surface? If you can help me out, I would really appreciate it!

Dear all,   I'm using Creo Direct Modeling Express 8.0 and I'm not able to import Step file. I can save my 3D in step files, but I can't open a general step file created by others.   Is it there any setting to be able to open this file? If the free licence of this software is limiting this possibility, is there any designer that has found a converter to pk2 file or something like this?   Thanks for the reply. Nicola

Within the Modeling structure browser you can influence the display of the object names using configured browser views. Such as displaying database attributes instead of instance names.   I would like to have the option to highlight objects (parts/assemblies) based on their database attributes. Assuming a part is locked (should be not used by designer anymore) within ModelManager it should be possible to define that the name is displayed within the Structure Browser in red color. Or imported parts are displayed in cyan color etc.

Hello everyone, don't panic, the server is still active. Put me briefly, don't want to keep you from watching football I always wondered what happens when I draw and the 72 hours are used up. The answer is simple: nothing, I could just keep working. Then I didn't quit the program, just minimized it to the taskbar and only put the laptop to sleep by closing it. I now had Express 6 available for more than two weeks without restrictions and without a new activation. Now I switched it off and started again. As usual, I had to get an activation code. Do any of you have the need and time to try it out and then give your feedback here? It could be that the reason is maybe due to my old laptop. 😉 See you in a few days. Fig. 1 Strange and not normal: First you have to do the activation check for Express again.Fig. 2 When you are through there it comes the usual proxy name where you should press "Submit" without further input. But unfortunately you will not be redirected to the PTC page where you normaly will receive the 72 hour activation code after entering user and password.Fig. 3 You will be sent directly to enter the activation code and since you don't have it, the start is canceled.   Is there someone from PTC reading this who can help? Would be nice if the problem could be solved for us. Hello, since a few days i can not get a licence for Direkt Express 8.0 Free. It had worked without problems before. The manual activation fails too with just an error message. A code is not generated. I have no idea wether the problem is on my computer or on the server site.   What can i do?        

Dal 20 maggio 2021 è impossibile attivare  Creo Elements direct Modelling express 6.0 (e anche il nuovo Creo Elements direct Modelling express 8.0) e pertanto è impossibile usare il programma. Sono 3 giorni che sto tentando di risolvere il problema ma, fino ad oggi, nessuna notizia in merito da parte di PTC Creo o dalla community. Gradirei sapere da PTC come risolvere il problema. Grazie

Hi, I use the free version of PTC Creo Elements Direct Modeling Express, and fail on getting activation key for offline mode. When I try to submit a request for a key, I get: "Fri May 21 03:59:42 EDT 2021 An error has occurred Please save the source of this page (File:Save As...) and email to webmaster@ptc.com Thank you for your help in resolving this matter. PTC Webmasters"   It has been like that for a few days now. Any idea how to solve it?

I request a activation key for modeling express 8.0 but when i log in with my data always this error massage appears. Does anybody have a solution for it ? When i log in with false data it gives me a key but it doesnt work 😄  

Tried to start Creo this morning which failed. I have had this before and used manual activation, but when I try this today I get a 404 error (address is https://www.ptc.com/appserver/securePeModeling/peManualLic.jsp?lang=en&u=Niall etc) How can I start Creo?

Creo express is unable to open again due to a proxy verification failure. Nice and all, but the offline verification code (as an cheap fix for the last time the proxy caused express to be down for everybody) cannot be requested due to more errors (see below). So the third problem occurred during me trying to post to this forum, I tried to request a new password. But this is also broken, meaning I created a new account to post my problem. I get that this is a free app, but gives a pretty **bleep** feeling PTC has his stuff not in control. Hello, up till now I did not yet go back to the cause of this behavior: I imagine that, based upon the way a part is modeled and possibly moved, it happens that this part, when selected, will show handles that are misaligned with respect to the principal axes (see Handles.PNG).Is there a way to modify the alignment of the handles associated with a part? Hello everybody, it is for me incomprehensible up till now how I should manage similar models saved in different pkg files. The global context is not very clear, but the present case is the following. I have two equipment; they are similar, but with different orientation of accessory parts and minor differences. One complete equipment was firstly modeled, saved as Model1.pkg. The original equipment was then rearranged and saved as Model2.pkg. When I load them together, the second one, wich (translating the message from italian)  "was already loaded before" will be "automatically shared (instead of re-loading)".That would be no problem, since it is possible to cancel sharing among groups, but the second model il loaded identical to the first. I guess some trick deal with the "physical" container of parts; but at this stage I need a workaround to load the individual models together as single entities, avoiding the automatic sharing. Hello, I have been facing this of MODEL MANAGER "abruptly closes" or "crashes" without any crash dump file - when "export" command.  This is very annoying and troubling. Any support on this will be appreciated. I am using Win 10 Enterprise, HP ZBOOK G3, HP ZBOOK G6 - either hardware it MODEL MANAGER [ver:19] keep failing, suddenly program closes. Hello, in the title block of drawing there predefined texts fields such as DRAWN DATE and NAME. When I try to edit them I get this warning:   The selected text has a text reference with group 'tb' and type 'CREATOR' that may be modified by the related update function.   The problem is I can't find the group 'tb' in the Groups table (Open text reference from the toolbar and click Act Group). How can I edit this information? Thanks. Anar  

I'm currently setting up CED to work with our Windchill setup. While I have successfully set up the tree browser to show and pass attributes to the Workgroup manager, I'm having no such luck with passing those along to the Annotation module. By manually copy/pasting the values through the attributes menu in the Workgroup manager, we are able to fill in our title block in Annotation.    My question now is, if it is possible to somehow pass the attribute values from Modeling to the title block in Annotation without manually having to copy/paste the values in the Workgroup manager?
