Hi, I created account to use the Creo Elements Direct Modeling Express 8.0 as a private user for free but the app is asking me for a company proxy server settings. I have not a company. I would be just privet user. If not possible I would delete  my account.What I can do to use the free app?If not possible, how I can delete my account connected with my email "kacparek@wp.pl"? Thanks in advance

Hi, Is there any option to restore drawing in my workspace, I checked out the drawing from the server and this overwrote the latest in my local folder (there isn't any warning for that!!!)?

I have installed Task Manager on top of Model Manager, and everything seems to be working fine. I am a beginner in this area. I have assigned 3 tasks to the Task Manager, and I would like to know how I can see if these tasks have been completed. For example, where might it have saved the step conversion job once it is completed? Thanks.

Hi everyone, I have a question. I have attached a DWG file below. When I open it in AutoCAD, I can see the view and annotations. However, when I open it in Creo, the annotations and drawing view are not showing. Does anyone have a solution for this? What settings and configurations are needed to open a DWG file in Creo?   The DWG file is a 2013 version of AutoCAD.   this is in AutoCad and this is in Creo    

Dear Sirs,I hope this message finds you well.I am currently encountering an issue while using CED 20.6. Specifically, when attempting to insert a section view while editing a drawing, I receive the following error message: "The selected view belongs to a read-only part or assembly," which prevents me from proceeding with further edits or operations on this view.I have attached a screenshot of the issue (please refer to the attachment) for your reference.I have attempted the following troubleshooting steps, but the problem persists:Verified whether the part is set to read-only mode.Restarted the software and reloaded the drawing.Tried loading different parts, but the issue remains the same.Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue? Is there a way to reorder the sequence of locations within a network? Pushing them up or down in the primary defined sequence you might need to reconsider in the course of your design?Additionally, I would like to know if it's possible to remove a location within a routed wire/cable without it being deleted in the network itself.

After use tool Isometric in Modify tab, I create rectangle and have error like that. Please help me how to do to be normal.

Is there a way to embed a font in an *mi file created by Annotation? I'm afraid that my customer can't display a drawing correctly if he has not that font in his Windows computer. Related question: is it possible to do the same (embed fonts) when exporting to DWG or PDF file format? I'm using Modeling 20.5 on Windows 10

I have installed the Creo Elements Direct Manager Server. All functions are working properly. However, despite having a license, the web interface is giving an error. I believe it's using a Jetty server. There might be something missing or incorrect. I would appreciate any help on this matter.

Dear Community Is it possible the export subassemblies from a top assembly as PVZ files, with the coordinate system from the top assembly? The goal is to use these PVZ files to reassemble the top assembly in an Vuforia Studio Experience and not have to reposition them. We are using the newest version of Creo Elements/Direct Modeling Thanks for your help! Alex

Creo Elements Direct Express won't open. Get the One Time Activation dialogue box then the proxy server dialogue box, then the request license dialogue box. Get the 72 hour activation code and enter it and it says it is invalid.  Anyone else having this issue??   Thanks,

Hello,my new laptop doesn't have an ethernet plug with its own Physical address, and depending on where I work I plug it into different docking stations which have an ethernet plug and their own physical address.I have a nodelock license, so which Host ID should I enter into the licensing page?Right now I'm at the office plugged into a docking station, and cmd-ipconfig shows my host id is 30-13-8B-EF-C2-A9.When I start the Creo installer it shows the same host id. So I get a license file for this host id, load the file in the License window, and I get a Not suitable error.I contacted PTC licensing support and the seem to be clueless on this issue, any ideas or possible solutions?Thank you!Guido 

Until now, as shown in the attached video it is possible to share several parts or assemblies from different owner in one owner only but not for in their owner...

I use Creo Elements/Direct Drafting (Mixed UI). I want to turn on Part brower as the below picture to manage layout. Please guide me how to turn it. I appreciate your prompt response.

I just upgraded to 20.6.0.0.0.  Every time I load from Model Manager or from a local drive, Modeling does a part check.   I have assemblies with thousands of parts and this really takes a long time.  Is there a way of turning off the part check at load?   This is really not necessary since I create and saved the files and know they are good.  I manually run part checks when I think they are required.   Tom  

Hi guys, hope you all are doing well . Need guidance. Whenever I enter text in creo .sec file, the triangle border appears and I cannot remove it. And it shows even if I export that file into another format. Please guide me how to remove it. I am using creo 10.
