I got a problem to using ProUItree in dialogue. Does any one have the solution ?1. How to show values in the ProUItree columns cell by Protookit API when initialization?2. When I click the column cell in the ProUItree , how to edit it like "ProUIInputPanel" by Protookit API? 

hi,  i want to create an ui in creo window for which iam using creo ui editor. the .res file gets created. is there any particular location where it needs to be placed ?  i use prouidialogcreate to load res file . is it the correct function iam using ? sometimes i get tk_general_error . when there is no error , no windows get displayed on creo window.  ProUIDialogActivate i use this function after ProUIDialogCreate. please guide me.   thanks   

Hello creo4.0 is not working on windows 10, it keeps giving me this message "the program can't start because ucore46.dll is missing from your computer when I run exe. ensured that dll is present into installation folder but its still not working.   please help   Thanks and Regards Ketan

hi,We are going to implement a preview using TOOLKIT.The implementation scenario is as follows.1. After creating a list of components in the active assembly, configure the POPUP MENU.2. Select the component and right-click and click PREVIEW3. Generate JPG of the model and display it in TOOLKIT UI   To implement the function, TOOLKIT must create a JPG file to create an image file of the model for preview.When creating an image file, TOOLKIT should display the model in the active window.Is it possible to create an image file without displaying the model in the active window?Or is there a path where I can reference the model's image file? Hello, I have created a very simple application using free java API. I am compiling .java to .class and then creating .jar archive. There is protk.dat that goes with it. What I noticed is Creo needs .class files as well along with .jar to start the application. Otherwise application start fails. So if I need to deploy this app I need to extract .class from .jar at same location. Is this expected? or Am I missing any configuration?  Thank you for your help

I have creo toolkit project and I am trying to perform File operations  using Headers : iostream,fstream,sstream,string.h. Whenever I try to build the code I am getting Linking errors and the file responsible is Protoolkit_NU.lib. when I comment the code which is using fstream etc, the project builds fine.   I am using Creo M030 and  VS 2015. I have written all the File operation code in separate Header file and calling it in Creo project.   any suggestions ?   Thanks and regards, Sekar

Hi All, it’s my first time posting on here. I am used to using Creo Parametric for my designs and I usually parametrise my parts to make it easy to modify in the future. I was wondering if there is a way to run Creo parametric, load file, make an edit and export this file using an external program such as MATLAB. I would like to do this because I will be exporting 1000’s of versions of the same file just at different geometrical values and wanted to automate the process and run my analysis on MATLAB automatically. Any response is appreciated

I am Technical Lead for our Add-on for Creo. We could not be able to get Windows minimize and maximize event for Creo Parametric. We tried with ProToolkit as well OTK C++.

What i suppoesed to do if i need replace a component part in a assembly in Creo 7.0.2.0 OTK C++/Java OTKIn old version the method pfcSolid::ExecuteFeatureOps(pfcFeatureOperations_ptr, optional pfcRegenInstructions_ptr) works well,however e-support technique file tells me OTK C++/Java OTK have anther mehod with same function in this version, but i can't find the method.The only mehod i found in help file is pfcCompModelReplace_ptr CreateReplaceOp (pfcModel_ptr NewModel), but what i should do after i have created this option,which mehod can receive this argument and execute the replacement action.Urgent issue need your help ,million thanks!

Is there a way to change the defaults of these features to 'to next' rather than some randon distantce it auto selects.

Hi, I am working on ModelCHECK and wanted to test 2 of the parameters("PLANE_CHILD" and PLANE_PARENT”) I was interested in- I created DTM1 as a 0 inch offset of FRONT and DTM2 is a 0 inch offset of DTM1, I should get 1 PLANE_CHILD error for DTM2 and 2 PLANE_PARENT errors for DTM1 and DTM2, instead I get no errors-  As you can see above both the tests have passed. But according to definition they should have failed. Please let me know if I am doing something wrong or interpreting definition wrongly. Any help would be appreciated Thanks and Regards,Prasad

I am getting "pfcExceptions::XToolkitCantModify" error while running a vbapi CREO automation application which I have developed for CREO 2.0. The application works fine in my system but throws this exception when I try to run in other user's system. PS: I  have already ensured the following things:1) checked that the environment variable PRO_COMM_MSG_EXE is set to right path2) vb_api_register.bat is run and the  COM server is registered Is there anything else that can cause this issue? Any help would be appreciated Thanks and Regards,Prasad

When opening a file in creo and having default to all is is possible to rearrange the colums or even better create a custom folder view. Below is an example of the default all view.  

I am using Creo Parametric Release 6.0 and Datecode6.0.5.1pfcAsyncConnection.AsyncConnection_Connect() throws XToolkitNotFound errorHere are the errors that I faced We have a standalone J-Link application. When it tries to connect pfcAsyncConnection.AsyncConnection_Connect() throws a XToolkitNotFound error. This error has been duplicated with a separate test program that does nothing but connect.This is only happening for one or two users at this one customer. Other customers, and other users at the same customer run this application without issue.We've verified that their PATH is set up correctly, and that pro_comm_msg.exe is running. Their IT has verified that there isn't a security issue.Any ideas?

In the part environment, is it required to have the TOOLKIT-for-3D_Drawings ( advanced license - 222) to access and modify the annotations? Upon using the ListItems(pfcITEM_ANNOTATION_ELEM) function of the C++ toolkit. I am getting an exception for not having the license. Is there any other way to access it or the license is mandatory for this operation ? 

Hi, I want to set up a drawing template (or would also be happy with a format) where the BOM Balloons pick the numbering for assembly items not from a rpt.index, but a Find Number parameter. In an actual drawing I know how to set this (change rpt.index to asm.mbr.cparam.FINDNUMBER)......but I'd like to have this set already from start when creating the drawings.In a drawing template (.drw) the BOM Balloons tab of Table Properties is greyed out, as there's no model to "balloon". This is my catch 22. I'd like users not having to manually change this in the BOM table for every drawing they create. Does anyone have an idea to achieve this for a template or format? 

I need to export the annotations and graphical representation in creo using the C++ toolkit.Is it possible?Please help me with the data, that have to be exported in order to represent the annotation and graphical representation in another file format.  

Hi i want to create a relation that creates a note parameter. like note A   i can make number parameters, strings parameters,  etc. but not a note parameter (the current parameter is a string i want it to be a note parameter  

I see in the guide about simplified representations but not drawing representations. I would like to ultimately distinguish between notes associated with views and textual block notes on the drawing and in the title block. I would think if I can retrieve a drawing with 'no views', all the views and associated items would be blank. Then I can call GetIsDisplayed() to figure out what is left. I didn't even see anything to erase the views. Is this just not supported?
