Hi i need to connect digital twin with thingworx can any one help me how to connect digital twin with thingworx or for that what course i need to under take?. I have completed Thingworx certificate course ,for digital twin what i need to take.

Hi, Is ThingWorx v9.1 stable? We installed 9.1 version and facing lot of issues. Frequently it says rest failure and the entities are getting missed. We developed lot of screens and suddenly the Things got deleted that we were using. Many Things and Mashups or other entities are getting deleted frequently. What is the root cause of this? Can we revert to version9.0? If we do so will it support the entities that were developed using 9.1?  Please suggest how to procced. This is a high priority task for us as we are developing modules for production.   Thanks in adavnce, Shalini V

Hi Community,   I have a scenario where a user can upload image/video from mashup on mobile and on button click it should get transferred to thingworx server/designated repository. I am planning on using file upload widget on mashup. Hi,   We are planning to migrate from Thingworx 8.5 HA to Thingworx 9.1 HA. I have read PTC help documents for HA. I need clarification on below points. We are planning to do on Windows 2019 environment. 1. Is it compulsory to use connection servers in Thingworx 9 HA. We have not used connection servers in Thingworx 8.5 HA? 2. Can we install and configure Apache Ignite in respective thingworx servers? Do we need to go with separate systems for Ignite?   In Thingworx 8.5 HA, used below components. 1. Load Balancer 2. Azure Postgre SQL service 3. Two Thingworx servers(2 Azure VM's) 4. Three Zookeepers systems 5. Common folder Repository(File Repository)     Regards, Latha

Hi,    Currently I  am  trying to add runtime permissions for PlatformSubsystem , CurrentSessionInfo & RuntimeLocalizationFunctions through service. I am only able to add permissions for  "ServiceInvoke" but if I try to add permissions for  "PropertyRead" , "PropertyWrite", "EventInvoke" , "EventSubscribe"   I am getting error message for event perms.  = > Error executing service test1. Message :: This entity does not support event permissions - See Script Error Log for more details.    for property perms. = > Error executing service test1. Hi,    I am using TWX 9.1 with manufacturing app and Postgres as persistence provider. I have set up kepserver on another machine. I have done the configuration of remote thing in kepserver.  I am doing below steps in TWX using postman - 1. I am creating a thing using below URL and body  http://XX.XX.XX.XX:8080/Thingworx/Resources/EntityServices/Services/CreateThing body - { "name": "testThing",  "thingTemplateName": "PTC.SCA.SCO.KepserverBasedPhysicalAssetThingTemplate", "projectName" : "Demo" }   The thing get created I then enable and restart thing using below URL -  http://XX.XX.XX.XX:8080/Thingworx/Things/testThing/Services/EnableThing   http://XX.XX.XX.XX:8080/Thingworx/Things/testThing/Services/RestartThing   Now I manually create a property from composer called test1 data type string. When I login again after logging out, even though I entered the correct ID and password, I cannot login and the login pop-up keeps popping up.This doesn't happen the first time I log in, it only occurs when I login again. Is this a bug?I guess it might be a session problem.If this happened and you solved it, please answer me.I used thingworx 8.5

There were a few nice sessions on the recently held symposium https://extranet.ptc.com/sites/field-tech/SitePages/PTC-and-Partner-Sessions.aspx   But the recordings for some sessions are not available, in particular for the "Containerization for TWX & ThingWorx High Availability" held on the 22nd April.   Will the recording be available / can be accessed from somewhere elese?

Hi,   I am connecting to Thingworx server using java sdk's ConnectedThingsClient. I want to create a thing shape at run time and add properties to it. I am using CreateThingShape service from Resources.EntityServices. But I can not find any out of the box service to add property definitions to this shape. Unlike Things/ThingTempaltes, we do not have any generic services under ThingShapes.    Is there any way we can do this using OOTB services/ other apis from java sdk?   Thank you

Hi everyone, I need to insert value of numerous textfield entered by user on runtime and value of label (given at time of mashup creation) into postgres database. I have earlier created code and was successful in transferring data from excel to postgres database, but now as data is not present at one location, I am clueless in achieving it. Can someone suggest please. I am attaching sample mashup showing labels and textfields. Thanks in advance.

Hi,   We have done a Modbus connection to Kepware to fetch an Energy meter data. The modbus driver is running in an edge PC pushing energy meter data to Keware every 2 secs. But the data is not properly updating in Kepware and has a delay update of more than 1-2 mins(in Quick client).  We cross verified with ModScan(Instead of Kepware) and there we were getting data every 2 secs We checked with the below senarious. 1) Channel's ScanMode was set to Respect Client-Specified Scan Rate. 2) Changed Channel Scan mode and scan rate to various values (below 2000 ms) None of these worked.   Regards, Sri1

I have two grid widgets, in one grid ( grid 1 )I am getting data. Based on grid1 selected row I have to populate data on grid 2. Is there any guide to use this logic ?

Hi,    Ignite was introduced since ThingWorx 9.0  cluster,  I want to know under what circumstances it will  be used.  1.  Will the none-persistent property store in Ignite  ? whatever the data type is .  2.  Will the performance of JavaScript service benefit from increasing the memory size of Ignite ?    Regards, Sean      

TWX 9.1 I have 2 dropdowns, I want to reset/clear selection for first dropdown when the selected row is changed in second dropdown. How to acheive this?

I have multiple stream entries for few entries, we use data tags and for other entries we are not using data tags.  Now, I have to get only stream entries without tags ..  Is there is any way to achieve this ??  I tried filter snippets but it is not working as expected for no data tag entries. 

I'm writing a small Thingworx service to push some data from repository in Thingworx to an external service (Elasticsearch) over REST and need to send some data in Base64 format   I'm using LoadBinary and base64EncodeBytes to load and convert the data, but the output result of base64EncodeBytes snippet contains "_" characters which are illegal base64 characters. HI, I am trying to export a project(entities+data) from my local instance to cloud ThingWorx(30 days trial version). I imported all the entities without data. Now I need to import the data. How to do that?   I upload the exported data file in a file repository and tried Import-> from file-> file repository-> but my file is not showing there.
