Hi Guys, can someone tell me if i can stop these 00_BUW layers from being created when i make an EMX moldbase? I thought i could go into each plate and component, and get rid of them, but they still show up once I hit Assembly definition button. And then i get more once I add in mold plates. Is there a config hidden somewhere? Or am I stuck with these everytime I use EMX? Thanks, Jay

Is it possible to add comments down in the add features section of apro/program? Hello How do I duplicate cavities and inserts by also inserting my own parameters? For components that are assembled, how do I add all my parameters and relation?
Hello, I have scoured the internet for any information on parameters and CSYS's needed for using solid model tooling in material removal simulation. From the information that I have gathered, it seems that you create a parameter in each of the tools components named "VERICUT_TYPE" and then set it to either "HOLDER" or "TOOL" based on what the component does, and I am not for sure but I have also seen that you might be bale to set it to "INSERT" as well? This parameter also seems to need to be set regardless if you are using moduleworks, you still need the "VERICUT_TYPE" parameter.You then need to create a CSYS in the center of an assembled solid model tool with the Z pointing into the tool and located at the cutting height. You then open your insert (if using one) and create a CSYS named "INSERT" facing the same direction as your "TIP" CSYS and located in the center of the insert. I have done this, but seem to have mixed results. Am I missing somethi
Does anyone know what parameters will make the tool continue on all the way the toolpath rather than after each cut tool will exit to retract plane each time?.
I am using Creo Parametric N/A N/AHi Team,We haven't imposed any restriction to Creo Mold Analysis Extension. But user states like:"At the moment I am only able to access the basic Mold Analysis which is included in Cre Parametric which has only 10 materials in the library and limitations on what simulations can be completed. The complete mold analysis extension not accessible. When I set my work center travels for my 4-axis machine, it follows the work centers default CSYS of "MACH_ZERO". The problem is, when I go to mill on another side, such as B90, the work center travels are still looking at "MACH_ZERO" CSYS, instead of adjusting to B90 CSYS, where everything has now been rotated 90 degrees.This as you can see, will not allow us to use the work center travels as intended, but we would like to use them. Any ideas?
Does anyone know how to do this?. I have not seen out of 200 so speak free half hearted post the PTC offer that can do that . Multi-Axis machining is a must these days and will be here for a long time. Because the 3D stuff is very slow and has material constraints the limits things you can do!.
hi all, how can I change feed rate in the tap cycle?the resulting F must be the feed rate and not the ratio of feed rate to of rpm. example F0.7 no F350 (S500). thanks

I am using the base manufacturing program - I'm not sure what it is called (NC?). We also have Expert Machinist but I am not using the application. Hi, Most of the CNC builders offer option liked the one in the title. Does anybody know how to activate/ control them using GPost. Or how to capture things when you need 3+2 machining or 5 axis machining?
I want to use trochoidal milling with 5 Axis machining. Is this function given in Creo 5.0? I added "trochoidal_milling" in the config.pro. After selecting the trajectory milling the two parameters "trochoid_width" and "trochoid_depth appear, where i can configure my milling path. When I switch to 5-axis machining the parameters disappear. Why is this happening? I am using Creo Parametric 5.0. Thank you in advance!
Hi all. I’m looking to learn to use CREO during my free time at work. I do rapid prototyping work for a large company, the floor level machinists all use MasterCAM and the engineers and CAD people all use CREO. My department kind of falls in between so we have full licenses to both, but none of us know how to use CREO besides pulling .stp files.I’ve been watching videos on youtube and the little bit of CAD I’ve picked up seems much easier than making models with MasterCAM. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be many tutorials for CREO compared to MasterCAM/Fusion/whatever. Anyone have any recommendations? Does the license for CREO Parametric include access to PTC University/LEARN?Thanks!Paul
I'm currently working on the bone prosthesis design incorporated with lattice structure. I'm using lattice feature in Creo 4.0 to generate the lattice. However, I have a problem when CREO isn't able to generate the lattice according to the shape that I want. What is the reason for this and how to solve it?
I am learning to use Creo 4.0 Manufacturing to create toolpath and send code to our Haas 3 axis mill. I've been fairly successful so far but I am struggling to understand how to apply lead in and cutter compensation and get it to output G41/G42. I have the Creo 4.0 manufacturing "Black Book" tutorial but the menus and options appear to be outdated and are much different than what I see in my app. I've narrowed it down to a "CUTCOM" command but if I turn it on, it still will not generate G41 when I process code. Is there an updated tutorial that will walk me through how to use cutter comp and other functions?? thanks

I am using Creo Parametric 7.0 7.0.0.0When inputting value for formula driven lattice -> cell fill -> wall thickness, I enter 0.1. Error message says: you have entered a value 0.1000 that is out of range (0.5100 to 1000000.0000) Click OK to correct, or Cancel to return to the previous setting. Is this just an inherent limiting feature of the Creo lattice functionality? It seems to make it so that only extremely large or extremely bloated lattice structures can be created.

I am using Creo Parametric 5.0 5.0.4.0I'm trying to remove material ina rotating sketch.Applies at 4 microns, but not at 3 microns.I don't know the cause.Is there a way to define it below 3 microns?
