Any help gratefully received,I am attempting to plot an XY graph of a polynomial equation including x and y values, (e.g 4y+3x=10). cant find any help on any PTC guides and youtube drew a blank.completely out of ideas now, everything tried just throws a variety of red error boxes. many thanks in advance. BTW, using prime 8

Hello, I have a formula which defines water-pressure on a surface depending on depth and wavelength. To find the total force I have defined an integral. I want to find the depth beneath the water level where the resultant is located. I can do this manually by guessing values but I would like the program to solve this for me. The only variable here is the depth for what I'm understanding by looking at my functions. Can someone help me understand what I'm missing in the attached calculation? Regards/Tobias
Hello all, Does anyone have a suggestion for the following... I have a 170 page calculation, predominantly systems of linear equations, that has over 150 different inputs. What could be recommended as the best method for inputting the variables? I've tried utilising the excel component but it kept crashing.I've lumped them all into a matrix, this worked okay.I attempted to WRITEEXCEL them as they are being used elsewhere but it crashed the system.I am currently using loads of individual READEXCEL's but this is not ideal as it does not pick Excel variables (cell location cannot be moved). I'm thinking that a CSV intermediary between Excel and Prime might be best with use of some VBA, not sure. I'm in the slow process of re-writing the sheet so that logic can take care of some of it! Thanks in advance.
How do I use the CWD path in WRITEEXCEL command
I need help to install the purchased license of MCAD. I do not seem to have the license file
Hola a todos, acabo de actualizar a la versión 8 prime y ahora no puedo encontrar el vector de respuestas.¿Tengo que usar el bloque de resolución obligado? personalmente me parece más cómodo la herramienta "solve, x" Hi everyone, I just upgraded to 8 prime and now I can't find the response vector.Do I have to use the forced resolution block? I personally find the "solve, x" tool more comfortable
Can you please tell how to solve a system of ode in prime ? Also a single ode with Laplace in mathcad prime 6?
After embedding excel component within worksheet when an input is provided the excel convert it to SI system if the unit system is set to USCS any suggestions?
HelloI am trying to copy a matrix that is used to look up structural shapes from Prime 8 to Excel so I can update/add information, then copy-paste back into prime. Is this possible?
Hello,I would like to get a program in Mathcad that: given being a function with a certain number of parameters and a certain symbolic expression, f (p1, p2, p3, p4, ..., pn): = a certain symbolic expression that involves these parameters: p1, p2, p3, ... ,pn, to automatically obtain the following:1. Symbolic calculation of: 2. Numerical calculation of:Given finally the numerical values for the parameters: p1, p2, p3, ..., pn, calculate the numerical values for the expressions of the derivatives from point 1.Example for the case with 3 variables: p1, p2, p3: 1. Symbolic calculation: 2. Numerical calculation The idea is that I want a Mathcad program that calculates automatically what I want regarding the two points above (point 1 and point 2), meaning to give me as output both the symbolic calculations and the numerical calculations, in the form of parameters, as shown for example in the example above (Sp1, Sp2, Sp3, Sp4, Sp5,
My organisation has purchased a copy of Mathcad Prime 7 for me. It is a student edition & eLearning bundle with electronic download. However, the person who ordered it is away out the country and I do not have the licence code to run the full version. Are you able to find the licence code for me please? The order number was 1155290714439.Thanks
I am trying to use Odesolve. I think I am solving the same equation written in a slightly different way, but in the second way I am getting an error when I try to plot the solution.
I'm currently doing some calcs on the land-speed of a vehicle. From my other calcs, I obtained the wheel-motor's speed in RPMs, and the tire diameter. However, when attempting to obtain the speed from MPH, the calc seems way off. I did it by hand and used an online calculator. and they both gave the correct speed. What am I doing wrong, and how do I get the correct speed calc?

Hi,I'm somewhat new to mathcad and trying to solve an equation with a solve block. (see attached)Tried several things, but without succes, I don't know if ti actually can work? perhaps with a for-while loop? The equation is quite straight forward with some forces and lengths, resulting in a summed moment, for which I would like to find a 0. Can anybody help to achieve this or help me in the right direction? Kind regards, Casper
Hello, I wasn't able to find the product code anywhere.I need someone from tech support to please contact me.I'm looking to see if there's a way to look at older Mathcad versions as we don't seem to be able to open these files when we upgrade to the newer versions of Mathcad.
Our company doesn't have a maintenance contract anymore but we have to move our license to another licenseserver (W7 -> W10). I was able to create new license file but am not able to download the license manager. Could you please send us a downloadlink for the licensemanager? Thanks in advance.
Dear all,I would like to extract the results from my Mathcad Prime run into Excel, but I’m not able to do so. I looked at the PTC community page but all suggestions given there do not work for me. I think it has to do with the way I run my calculations: I integrate in steps of 200 iterations and store intermediate result in a matrix and run the whole thing 'pmax' times (thus total number of iterations is 200 x pmax).I would like to extract the output from a certain row and column of matrix for different data points (1..pmax) and export this to Excel. For example, I would like to extract (Yt_ii)1,3 with ii := 1..pmax. Hope anyone can advise.
Is it possible to to index the summation for odd numbers in 15?
