No matter what range i change i am not able to show 3d plot data. Anyways how's the range should be chosen for such scenarios
Example:
Team, I'm trying to do some curve fitting with the minerr function but it's not working. Any advice? The LambertW function routine is working with other Mathcad Prime 8.0 workbooks. Thanks,Dr. Atlas
Here is a misbehaviour (already present in real Mathcad, too) that I would classify as a bug, since IMHO an implicit multiplication should be treated exactly the same as an explicitly stated one. An implicit multiplication should be just that and nothing more, not additionally an implicit pair of parenthesis, too. And, yes, I am aware that some authors use different parsing rules and give priority to implicit multiplications over "normal" multiplications and divisions. But I am not aware of a reliable source that would give implicit multiplication a special place in the order of operators. Although no authoritative literature, Wikipedia also does not grant implicit multiplications a special position. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_operations May well lead to endless discussions ... (just search the net for 6:2(1+2)=? ) 🙂

I am using Mathcad Prime Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.0.0I'm trying to calculate power loss in a motor and rpm will not work as a unit of measure. Also Radians per second also does not work when I convert it from rpm*2PI/60.Here are the errors that I facedrpm: not a valid unit.(Before calculating the output power of the motor, convert speed from units of RPM to rad/sec.)when trying to calculate: Nm* rad/sec to watts it gives me s*W in the answer.
Can I loop the function to solve and plot the equation in prime?
I definitely defined f(x,beta), but when I try to draw a diagram, the following error occurs. How can I solve this problem?Inside the red box, "This variable is not defined. Make sure the label is set correctly."
Now I'm installing MathCad 14 to my new PC. During MathCad License Setup procedure after complete "Account Information" and push button "Finish" I have got message about "Unexpected Error" -"The server committed a protocol violation.Section=ResponseHeader Detail = CR must be followed by LF ".I also tried to use button "Enter" but result was same. What are you recommend me in this situation?Best regards,Derevyanchuk Dmitry.
When I rotate a coloured image using the functions in Mathcad Prime recalling the image turns out to be in gray scale. How to make Mathcad prime call the rotated image in its original form?
I cant use my login details to activate the matchcad 15 trial version, please help
I have used "Animation" together with WRITEPRN in Mathcad 15 to successfully loop a worksheet and export data to text files. If you record an animation in the attached worksheet, a text file shall be created for each FRAME. The name of each text file corresponds to the input variable of interest (IDpipe), whereas the entry in each text file contains the calculated quantity (WIDTH). Is there a way to modify the contents inside WRITEPRN to make Mathcad store all results in one text file containing two columns (IDpipe & WIDTH), where number of rows with data corresponds to the number of FRAMES used to record that animation? Currently I am using a workaround by letting Excel read the folder containing all solution text files. It would be more elegant though, to let Mathcad put everything in one text file right away.
I recently purchased a one year Student licence for Mathcad Prime 8.0 (10€) an received a confirmation-mail. The mail does not contain any product code or information about how to set up the one year licence within the mathcad software. Please fix this as soon as possible.regards,Sebastian Müller
Good morning everyone! For retirees, are there any discounts on buying Prime 8?Thank you very much to those who want to answer.
Hi team, I have a big solve block with 13 equations and 13 unknowns. I could not add the worksheets for IP reasons, but the question is quite generic. Please bear with me. Here is the scenario:I have a solve block that solves 13 equations and gives out the solution, say P(x,y,z). in case, I know the final result for P(x,y,z) say 200. How can I find what are the combinations of x,y,z that would lead to that. Do I use another solve block with minimum and maximum function? I tried, but lead into convergence error. tried changing guesses as well as TOL, CTOL values. Did not work. Thanks in advance.
Hi All, Relatively new to MathCAD, so apologies if there is an easy fix here. I've prepared a calculation file that take some various data and creates a piecewise function using if statements. The clip below shows a graph of the piecewise function, and the equation I am trying to solve. M(9.575 ft) = 0.967 lbf is confirmation that the function M(d) is working properly. I am looking to try to solve for a value of d that will provide M(d)=0. I am getting a "Pattern Match Error" with the equation I used above. I'm wondering if it would be helpful to solve this equation within a range, but I've hit a dead end on figuring out how to approach that. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
How to have angular and radial gridlines in polar plot? Can someone please share an example of how to do it prime
Hiwill you be helpful where i can find my product code. i ordered student licens for 1 year. the only thing i got is activation code
I have a list of x, y, z coordinates that I'm trying to plot within a contour plot, but the resulting plots aren't returning reasonable scales... Was wondering if anyone has ever done anything like this and if they could share the format they used to plot said data? Thanks in advance
I purchased Mathcad Prime 8 Student Edition, but I can not activate the product, in this moment I have a trial edition with 26 days left. I only have my order number.
I believe the title says it.At first I though it might be related to having a Plot nearby or the text box overlapping. Then I thought it was related to multiple colors of text.I haven't quite narrowed it down, just wanted to bring it up for developers...(lol--do they read this?)I am using Express. Maybe my file is just getting too big (although it is still smaller than 1 MB).
Three files are attached:DATE.csvDATA.csvDATE.xmcd When reading the two csv files into the Mathcad file, the first element of the DATA file is corrupted and looks likeHowever, the DATE.csv file reads in correctly as: What is causing the corrupted first element when reading in the DATA.csv file. Thanks for any help provided.Reg Curry
I am wondering , what is a precise tolerance and what is a loose tolerance. I would imagine that from 10^-1 to 10^-9, loosest tolerance would be 10^-1 and tightest would be 10^-9. Please correct me if I am wrong. I also had question if I could overwrite tolerance even further? I want to loosen my tolerance even further since my solve block is not converging for 10^-1 (Assuming it being the loosest tolerance of all). Thank you in advance.
I purchased the educational MathCAD Prime 4.0 with MathCAD 15 in 2017. The software combination is currently accessible and usable from my old computer which has some case deterioration issues. I have purchased a new computer and wish to use the software combination from this new computer. After installing the software on my new computer, I followed the process on the inside of the CD case to acquire the new license and was met with the message that the Program ID already expired. I followed the link which brought me to this page.I have MathCAD 15 files from versions 2-15 arising from an academic career and would like access to them, and, certainly, I'd like to migrate many into the Prime environment. The combination of Prime 4.0 and MathCAD 15 both resident on my hard drive is necessary to enable this migration.I read from the PTC Community that PTC's product manager has committed to honor all existing licenses - that which came with my purchase is a perpetual license. I believe that P
I recently purchased MATH CAD PRIME 8, however I have yet to receive an email containing the downlink, or activation code for my product I have purchase.
