Mathcad

I am trying to find Transfer function for the variables Rc1, Rc2, Rc3 and Rc4 but the tool runs into runtime error . Basically, I need transfer function in terms of Rc1, Rc2,Rc3 and Rc4. EDIT : attached the worksheet. Now, I am getting out of memory as error.

Wie bekommt man das bei Mathcad Prime 7 hin?

Relatively green Mathcad Prime 7 user here. I am trying to write a simple iteration program so that I can eventually try to adapt it for my needs. My question is: Why is my program returning 0 and 1 as well as multiplying everything by 1? I just want to see the values from 1..n where's f(n) is my input. I have minimal experience coding so I apologize if the answer is relatively easy or has been in front of my face the entire time. Hi,I have recieved a sw_licence_email.dat by my email and I have copy this into the server Computer > C > Programs File > PTC > Mathcad Prime 6.0.0.0, but unfortanly I can't activate my Mathcad. I go to the button "Activate" in right from the program, then "Configure product to use existing license" and in File I browse the file. Than it said "The following products have been licensed. PTC Mathcad Prime 6.0.0.0.", but it is not. What can I do?

I have been working on this since last two days and just completed my work and then suddenly Mathcad crashes and gives me an error that the contents of the file have been corrupted.I tried everything, used the recovery file also but cant recover. I just dont know what to do.I would really appreciate if anyone can help me with this.ThanksP.S. the file is in attachment.

How to use genfit() to solve for nonlinear parameters since it is hard to separate I or V from the equation?

I am a new Mathcad user. I have a function defined for a scalar input. I have an input 4x6 matrix of scalars. I want an output of another 4x6 matrix of scalars, evaluating the function at each entry of the input matrix. That is:   Output(i,j) := function( Input(i,j) )   I quickly found that just entering the 4x6 input matrix into the function as an argument did not work. I ended up using two for loops to generate the matrix (i.e. evaluating the above equation at each i & j value).   My question is this - is there a single line command to input a non-symmetric matrix into a function for a scalar & get the output I want? Any other ideas or resources for how to do this?

Hello,   Mathcad Prime 7 n00b user here. I am trying to solve these two equations (pictured) by iteration without a previous value defined for Q but it is really stumping me. Currently I have Q defined but when it is undefined it really throws everything off and I am stuck. I will attach pictures and a file, feel free to edit as needed. Thanks!    

Hello,   I have a very complex differential equation that can only be solved numerically. Here I use a simple differential equation as a proxy for the sake of clarity. This differential equation contains the parameter a. I would like to determine this parameter a by fitting it with the method of least squares with my data X and Y. I need the numerical solution of the differential equation. From the numerical solution of the differential equation I only need the last value for each row of my data X. This is done by the function xsolvend. This is done by the function xsolvend. Because the differential equation is complex, I use genfit. For this I need the function xsolvend_fit which contains the derivative after the fitting parameter a. The numerical solution of the differential equation with determination of the final value works. Hello,Is it possible to link two mathcad sheets where one will be opened and the other is closed. The opened one will be set to a certain variable ( allowable stress design), and the closed one is set to a different variable( Strength Design). i need to import certain values from one sheet to another. the reason why i dont want to have one open becuase each sheet is about 25MB and if i have both opened along with other softwares, mathcad 15 will become extremly slow?Thanks!

  Hello,   I have data X and Y. I have set up 4 different models for these data. I would like to evaluate the significance of the models. You can see in the graph that model 2 (green) is the best. I want to achieve this result not by looking, but by using a correlation coefficient. My problem is that none of Mathcad's correlation coefficients give correct results. In Mathcad help, the Pearson correlation coefficient is often used for such purposes. From a workshop on Mathcad or from Wikipedia I know the general measure of determination. This provides plausible results. Only when the deviation is too large, as in model 1, does it deliver values greater than 1. Does anyone have an idea why this is the case? Thank you very much. Dear all, I have just install Mathcad prime 7.0.0.0 with a trial license. However, It seems that the program does not work as it always shows the error " Cannot understand this syntax" even the simple calculation like 1+1=. All other functions do not work as well, although the program has been activated successfully. Please let me know how to fix the issue. Thank you very much Best wishes,  

I am trying to solve this equation using iteration and a solve block for Q without previously defining Q as for my application I would not have the value for Q. Am I on the right track here and if not could somebody point out my mistakes? All of my other variables are previously defined and the only thing I don't have defined is Q. I want to be able to spit out a value for Q given all the other variables definitions. Thanks in advance! Working on a large worksheet and the embedded Excel tables become unstable after being edited. Message: "Excel is busy: Can't activate Excel...". Which means the entire worksheet stops working. Need to close the file and reopen. This feature is very convenient and I wished it worked better.

Hi Guys, So i have an equation that can't solve with with units (except in a solve block, which isnt optimal for me) if i strip the units the equation solves perfectly. I really hope some of you wise mathcad experts can help me.

I have this problem of  "This value must be a function". I already checked everything twice with a friend and none of us find what is wrong. Please is someone can explain what or where is the problem.

Using units in Prime is extremely cumbersome compared to MathCad 15. Although I've tried to define new units globally, using the units labeling it doesn't seem to work. In combo boxes, can't define units containing exponents. There are common units used in Chemical Engineering that should be available such as mbar, cP, etc.

Hi folks,   so far I've noticed a few issues with Prime 7. The combo box doesn't accept exponents when defining values I doesn't also allow the unit for thermal expansion coefficient (1/K). It is not read in properly as it is considered a formula. However, the chart tools  only when changing the line character from solid to dotted it is properly displayed in the legend. you can't define units such as µV on the axis so the workaround is to copy and paste the µ from the character map. what irks me most is that logarithmic scaling is not displayed properly. The numbers on the axis are correct, but the axis representation is not. See attached images. has any body figured out how to change the steps on the logarithmic axis? It appears to be fixed. Raiko

Hello,I have a discrepancy in the results of the 2 transfer functions.The implementations in Mathcad and Matlab are identical, so normally I should have the same result.Mathcad result: Matlab result: What could be the reason why the 2 results would not be equal?Thanks.
