Mathcad

I want to buy Mathcad Prime but I can't login to purchase. I have created an account. When I click "buy now" it opens a new tab with a login screen. I enter my information and it says "invalid username or password". I have reset it several times and after completing the reset I can see that I'm logged in because my name appears in the upper right hand corner. When I go back to the store to purchase the license, the same login screen opens up, I enter my email and newly changed password and I get the same error. What am I doing wrong here?

I recently changed my laptop and I'd like to re-install Mathcad. Unfortunately I don't receive the link for the download and the same it's not in the spam.

Using Prime 11The topic is Hertzian contact.  I was investigating the capacity of spherical contact on a flat plate using several different methods of calculating the stress stateI converted a Mathcad 15 worksheet to Prime 11.  It worked perfect in V15.  In Prime 11, one of the functions is broken.Attached are the PDF of Mathcad 15 output and the Prime 11 worksheet that it converted.I’m using a bunch of nested solve blocks as functions.  The functions that use the Find solve block seem OK.  But one function uses a Maximize solve block.  This isn’t working.This function worked in Mathcad 15. sigma_eq is another function.  It’s supposed to maximizing the value of sigma_eq by searching for the value z_guess that gives the maximum.  The other inputs to the z_peak_stress function are “constants” that the function sigma_eq also needs as an input.Conversion didn’t mention any errors about this.  It added a ‘helper’ (?) equation that’s not part of the iteration.  And the new format throws an e

Error in Licence Pocessing

I have been a paid subscriber to Mathcad since the late 1990’s. As a former a beta tester and advisor on new features, my interest and commitment to Mathcad is substantial. However, I am concerned about the future of Prime when I see more discussions on it not working rather than use.Yes some old problems are addressed with each new release. But installation and operation issues are starting to out number Topics on using the software to solve engineering and science problems. Even just upgrading to the new version or obtaining the new license keeps changing, adding to the frustration.For many of us, Mathcad is our only reason to use PTC’s products. Please do not make it a reason to be the last.

Transfer Mathcad license from an existing Host ID to a new Host ID for commercial license. I am trying to generate a license for a new host ID. I am getting the following error on the website: Your web account does not hold the following required privileges to access the application: License Management Reporting for read-only access. Hello,I just started using MathCAD Prime 3.0 and stumbled upon a problem. I can't find a solution to that online.I have a question about this screenshot:Why appending a result to a variable makes the operation impossible (1st and 2nd columns)?Why showing the value of a variable makes the next operation impossible (1st and 3rd columns)?Thank you. I’m using MathCAD Prime 9.0.0.0 and I’m running into a units error…All of the R units should be K/W, but I’m getting crazy units especially on Rmid. I attached my program as well as lecture notes that show how to do this. Look on page 44-45. Thanks,    Brent

I am trying to compute the equivalent annual percentage rate (APR) for a series of variable deposits with variable returns.Using the “find” function results in the error message “No solution was found...”. I tried opening up the TOL value, that didn’t help. So I tried the “minerr” function next and a different error message is displayed “Indexed assignment...”, My questions are:Which of the two errors is relevant? I am using Mathcad Prime Release 9.0 and Datecode9.0.0.0 How would I solve this equation in mathcad: y’=(A’c*l1+A’c*l2+wcb*y’2/2)/(A’c*2+13*y’) where A’c=5.336in2, l1=26in, l2=18in, wcb=13in and y is in inches Tried using the solve block but getting errors saying variable A'c is undefined.  I recently started using Mathcad Prime 12 for structural engineering / Eurocode calculations and I noticed something frustrating regarding the unit system.Mathcad correctly understands that: kg/s² = N/m. However when working with line loads (common in structural engineering), Prime often displays results as “kg/s²” instead of the expected engineering SI unit: N/m or kN/m.The strange part is that under “Insert Derived Units → Force per Length” there are several imperial units available: kpi, klf, plf. but there is NO SI alternative such as N/m or kN/m.This creates a awkward workflow in SI-based calculations, especially for Eurocode and structural design where line loads are constantly used.Currently the only workaround that i found seems to be manually dividing by (kN/m) , creating display variables or manually writing the unit as text. This partly defeats the purpose of the otherwise very capable engineering unit system.Questions:Is there any hidden way to add custom SI derived units
