Mathcad

Hi All,Is there an easier way to convert a range variable into a vector? That is, suppose we have a list of data (perhaps huge) in a single table over a range. Infact, this range variable is the output of a part of programming in mathcad. How to convert this in to a vector? Once I can convert this into a vector, then I can easily locate roots using curve "fitting".

I have a manual flexlm install with one instance of lmgrd listening on port 27000. Multiple vendor daemons are successfully running under that. The PTC license file is keyed to the first/main/active NIC.   lmgrd 11.16.2 ptc_d 11.14.1.2 (also tried 11.16.1.2, no change) Windows 10 64 bit   I've tried various permutations of putting things in quotes, using opt files, etc. I even regenerated the license file to use the other NIC/MAC address, no change. When one goes to install Mathcad (ver Prime 3.1), the program asks for the product code.  I have looked at all the info I have from PTC (fulfillment letter, hard copy of software, etc) but I do not see it.   Can anyone advise where I would find the product code?   thanks   m8ike

Years ago Werner helped me in setting up a technique to define the first deflection in a curve. Now I have to make a similar analysis but unfortunately the worksheet miscalculates the first deflection in 5 out of 6 plots. I was wondering whether this could be optimized? I have tried a few approaches e.g. using a higher derivative but this only marginally improved my results. I have put the correct indexes in the worksheet as correct 1 etc. Any help or suggestion to improve the method would be extremely appreciated as I have to analyse 150 plots and would like to avoid doing this manually. I can't use the start the 30 day free full version of mathcad. I downloaded the file with the licence but nothing else happened (after opening mathcad it looks like the old poor version). What should i do next?

Okay, here's the challenge:  measure the flow rate of a stream.  Build a weir with a V-notch as shown below, measure the water depth as shown. What is the flow rate (liters/min) for a given height H?  A derivation and formula, please!  

Hello!The versions M045 and M050 on Windows 10 do not work.M045 on startup gives the error of "Failed To Create Empty Document".M050 just hangs and does not open any file.The system is Windows 10.Help me to understand.

I am currently a student who purchased Mathcad Prime 5.0 student edition in January 2020 and I currently have until the 28th of January of 2021 to use it. I recently got a new computer and I wanted to redownload it again, but when I tried to do that it told me I had no products to update, and I am not sure why. I have tried everything, and the phone support couldn't help me. So if someone could help me solve this issue it would be appreciated.

Cannot activate license. I saved the license file on my desktop and pointed to it's location, but get the error:(-103) Cannot checkout an uncounted license within a Windows Terminal Services guest session.

Hi All,   We have Mathcad 15 installed, but now require the Prime 6.0 version also installed.   When we go through the install process, we seem to be going round in circles, and not actually installing the software.   Can someone advise how we can get this software running?   Windows 10 - Lastest OS updates.   Let me know if you need log files etc copied.   Thanks for your help.            

Hello, i have recently acquired student licensed mathcad prime 6.0.0 and set it up, however after i open mathcad, whenever i type ":=" and then proceed to type anything my app crashes with the following error :"An unhandled exception occured on the dispatcher thread. See..." and so on.

I am a student who purchased Mathcad Prime 5.0 student edition in January 2020 and I still have until the 28th of January 2021 until it expires. I recently got a new computer and I wanted to download Mathcad 15.0 onto it but when I go to the link provided in my email from the product code, it says I do not have any software to download. I am confused on where I can download it onto my computer, and why PTC says I don't have Mathcad Prime 5.0 student edition. any help would be appreciated!

I want to plot a few functions but Mathcad tells me that my range variables x and x2 are undefined even though i just defined them.   I am new to this program and i cant figure out what im doing wrong.   The problem is at page 10.

I am solving a problem of beats in the Mechanical Vibrations course.  The problem is that Mathcad on one sheet gives a correct answer while on the other worksheet gives a very strange thing. There are no variables above or below in these files.  I have run the recalculate command button multiple times but the answer is the same. I think there are some garbage values that it is collecting. My question is how to solve this problem and told Mathcad to forget everything and do the thing from start.   The right program is:   And, the wrong plot is:   I have also attached the files. Hi,   I'm new to Mathcad.   I'm referring to Mathcad file made by C.Basso in original link here https://cbasso.pagesperso-orange.fr/Downloads/Divers/Mathcad%20FACTs.zip  and taking one of the example for my study. Basically this Mathcad file will do the Bode plot based on circuit transfer function.   Questions What is the purpose of this ||(x,y) function in this bode plot? I don’t see any frequency, fk variable defined in this file, but then how this file plotting the bode plot based on the value fk?     I attach the exact worksheet for your reference. Please refer to Fig 1-36.xmcd file.   Could anyone explain why?
