It is also of interest to general readers who have some basic understanding of commerce and use of similar energy resources at their local level be it at residential or industrial. In the news today Russia's energy supply to Europe and Asia is often seen on major TV news, online newspapers and magazines, and maybe by now a college level study. Recently as March - July 2020 with Covid-19 impact on oil and gas businesses in US, and the drop in crude oil prices internationally, many small and medium size oil and gas companies have filed for bankruptcy protection in the US. This maybe one reason of interest to the reader and there may be relevant

Requesting Tips, Tricks and Advice User Level: Novice ... But have several Subject: Pumps and Pump System Calculations I am working on some calculations templates for my daily work related to centrifugal pumps and pumping systems. I am having difficulty in developing a template that can display units in imperical and or metric units using normal industry standard formulas. I can fake it with MathCad but it does not look professional. Can someone provide me tips on the best way. Example Equations:1) Pump Brake Power (bop) = (Head [feet] * Flow [gpm] * SG) / (3960 * Pump Eff [%])2) Pump Pressure from Total Dynamic Head and SG [Specific Gravity]: Pressure [psi] = (TDH [ft]* SG)/2.313) Specific Gravity [SG, SSG, %CV or %CW]. Calculation liquid SG using any combination of Solids SG, Slurry SG, % concentration by volume and % concentration by weight.4) HazenWilliams methods with C value5) I have several very special proprietary (secret) imperical formulas that have been de
I am a long time mathcad user. After retirement in 2016, I purchased a permanent licence for mathcad prime 3.1. It was working fine until recently, when the installation reverted to express mode. my attempts to “re-activate” the installation to to full functionality have been unsuccessful. I have obtained licence files through the self-serve tools, but when I try to use them, I get a message stating that the server is unavailable or down. Because I do not have an active support account, the PTC support team is inaccessible to me. I find this to be maddening, because I have a permanent licence for Mathcad, I cannot get it to work, and I can’t find any help at PTC. any suggestions or assistance would be appreciated mike o’neill
I have just learned to use programs to write calculations.and I have 3 questions1.How can i write command to sum value in table from column A to column B2.How can i write Command to not be considered when numbering i=j3.How can i choose the lowest value from table with numberingThankyouSomkung
I opened Mathcad Prime 5.0 today and it opened as express. I tried to reactivate the license, but it just tells me that the products are licensed. I purchased the yearly subscription and I am due to renew on the 22nd, so it should still be active. Not sure what to do. I have the license file saved on the computer, and pointed the license manager to that file - but it stays in express. What do I need to do?
Hi, I am getting error like below; this function has the form f(potential) ---> current but must have the form f(unitless)----> any 1 i am not sure why this error is coming; can anyone help to understand.
Hello everyone. I found out that the Rpm unit is not revolutions per minute, but radians per minute. So, could you please fix Russian localization from "об/мин" (обороты в минуту - revolutions per minute) for (радиан/минуту - radians). 21 pages of calculations became wrong when I realized it. Thanks a lot. Alan
Someone else posed the question, "how do you get the equation to wrap down to the left margin when writing long equations" and I have the same problem. Someone answers "ctrl" + "enter" but that doesn't work for me and I'm not sure if it is because of my version. If I press "ctrl" + "enter" it just highlights the rest of the equation. I have MathCAD express prime 6 if that matters.
Dear All For the given attachment file how I can restrict the output results of minerr function to get positive only, as in my problem I need all the parameter that is calculated with minerr to be positive Regards Abdelazeem
See attached table with values in rectangular format using Prime 5
Hello , new in MATHCAD ( today since 5 houres now), I've a small problem. As you can see in "test2.mcdx" , I did something wrong but cann't find out what ? Can someone help me on the right track ? Marco , France Thank you all
Hi all! I am thinking on a problem for work and I am trying to solve this ODE with odesolver. I am new to Mathcad and have been at it for several hours and cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. Odesolve gives me this error: "The number of rows returned from the function arguments does not match the number of equations to be solved" If anyone could lend me a hand I would be eternally grateful. Thank you!
The result of the minerr is NAN the attachment file contains the program and the results please anyone can help me to find the error
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to solve a equation with Mathcad, since it keeps displaying the message that no solution can be found. In principle it is a cubic equation that needs to be solved, but I don't know why this happens when I input units instead of simple numbers.FYI it is a weir design for a spillway.
We are trying to convert files but fails. We are using Mathcad Prime 6 alongside Mathcad 15 and getting the attached error every time for 3 files we need opened. Please help.
Dear all I notice the Mathcad Prime, when we use build-in function of eigenvec , Mathcad Prime include the Normalize the result. my question is how can we get the result without normalized form ?Thank you
1. I think that time(0) sec= 50 yr is a begin COVID-19. Can you in Mathcad find this data ??.??.2019? 2. What the maximum n digits of pi we can find in Mathcad? 3. I forgot... input later
One professor of mathematics read my article in the attachment and said that figure 2 contains a gross mathematical error and because of which this professor does not want to talk to me. He does not want to tell me about this error, and I (not a mathematician) cannot in any way find it. Help me, otherwise I’ve been sleeping badly for two nights... Prime 5 - OKPrime 6
Dear all I have column Matrix A=[1 3 5 2 4] ,I want do operation of Production of matrix A by element. The result will be A=1x3x5x2x4=120 Thank you
Hello everyone, I have a question about solve block. Please see attached file. How do I use symbolical solutions of solve block etc. automatically ? Please advise me. Thanks.
I have this k_1 matrix is there a way to expand this matrix to 6 by 6?
I am trying to simulate RC Circuit with Pulsed Input. I am getting small notch at the transition, Which goes away at high tau values. I am new to mathcad,Please provide insights. Regards, Shiv
Hi, I've got a simple question: When I multiply two variables(mm x N), the result always is in Joule (energy), but I want it to always be in Nm (torque): a:=5mm b:=100N c:=a*b=0,5J I know, that its possible to change the Unit from J by manually typing "N*m". But to do this in every line is not very nice. I don't use the unit joule at all. Is there a way to set N*m as the default unit in Express 4? Thanks, Maik
Hi, Very new user of MathCad here, so I really need some help. I am trying to create a continuous worksheet with geometrical optics formulas and calculations. Basically, I would like to have a bunch of formulas defined in the first pages of the worksheet (with comments, etc.), and then to have sections with calculations for various cases. For example, say I define the lensmaker's equation, and then 10 pages later I would like to have a calculation where all the variables are defined and MathCad would give the correct value for lens power. I understand that this is pretty straightforward, I could just use global definition for the equation, then define each parameter, and finally evaluate the result. And if I am not mistaken, I could also do this multiple times in the same worksheet, that is globally define the equation in the beginning and then define parameters for various cases and evaluate the result for each one. But the thing is that I would also like to be ab
