Hi Folks,   I just got an educational license for Mathcad.  I'm running Windows 10 on an MS Surface.  The only information I have from PTC is an order number and a product code.   V15 install needs an order number and a customer number.  Their help points to a copy of a paper invoice that should be packed with the CD.  However, I downloaded it, so no paper invoice.  Any idea where to find these numbers.  The help line for sales had no idea and helpfully pointed me to an installation support line that is closed right now (banker's hours).   Prime 5 installation crashed with a cryptic message about having a more capable version of one of the components already installed.  Does Prime 5 installation fail if V15 is already on the machine?  There's a V15 icon on the desktop, though V15 doesn't work.   Any guesses about whether this is this something general, or a problem unique to this machine?   Thanks for your help 🙂

To all   Dug out an old mcad sheet and was hoping to had a "check" but I am having a problem in properly defining either a Find or use the solve option. It's very embarrassing    Can someone advise the mistake I made in setting either option? see attached mcad 15 sheet   Thanks Regards    

When I have 20 elements in vectors with operators (for parallel calculation of 4 curves) all is OK! When I have 40 elements in vectors with operators (for parallel calculation of 8 curves) it is not OK! See please attach! My Mathcad Prime 4 is break when I open the converted 8-Flyers file! I have an error in my solve block that is solving for my forces as a function of time. The error is all the way at the bottom of the code. I am not sure how to resolve the error. Can someone help me?

I am having some issues with a solve block. I have had this issue before, but I forgot what I did to fix it. I get an error message that says "No solution was found. Try changing the guess value of TOL or CTOL." Can someone help me? The issue is at the bottom of the code.

Hello to all!Tonight I am working on what should be a simple problem as below:I know that from my reading material I have been given that:So for my simple triangle problem I have started by defining y (assuming that y is symmetric about x as:I have then integrated using the given forumula for JT but I am not coming up with the model answer of 1/48*B^3*H I am instead getting H to the power of 4? Which is a reoccurring problem...Following the question I have used the same approach for JoL and JL given that these are defined as:NB JL is the only answer I get spot on but only by using the given answer for JoL not the one I have calculated.Further if anyone can elaborate as to how J1L would be derived for a base of x=H? The given answer seems to be the answer for JoL for a rectangular shape?As always your help is greatly appreciated.Andy
