hi,I'm looking for a way to solve a two equations systems with x combinations of inputs values what should give the same number of solutions. Any help will be much appreciated

Good Evening Mathcad Community,Would anybody please help me with the attached file. My goal is to do interpolation given a period T.a =0.5*sec, based on site_class and the header Sa(0.2*s)  for Fa(site_class, Sa(Ta)) and same for Fv(site_clas,Sa(Ta)), I'm having problem as to how to program this in Mathcad. Hi all,please refer to attached files (Prime and Mathcad versions).I have a 3 functions:1) Ha(s,...) - a filter function (not really important what it is)2) M(s,...) - magnitude of Ha(s)3) D(s,...) - derivative of M(s)When I plot M(s) and D(s) with s replaced with iw, I would expect to see the derivative function have a value of 0 when the magnitude is at turning points but this is not the case.  Can you spot my error?Thanks,D.

HelloWe are trying to integrate a function which contains a vector for wave frequency (omega) with respect to length (y). We need help programming the integral so that it gives a value of each value of omega. Currently it either gives us a single value, or says the solution does not converge.Any help would be greatly appreciated!Kind regards,James and Daniel

I just purchased Mathcad Prime 3.1. I only want to install Mathcad 15.0. I do not want Prime on my computer. I did download the file for Mathcad 15. Can this be done? Are there written instructions to do this? Instructions to do what I want are not with the delivered software or on the website (where I searched).

At the bottom of the attached sheet I am trying to solve for lengths YD and ZD that will work for all three equations simultaneously. It is telling me ZD is undefined. Is this because there is no solution or that I am doing something incorrectly with the solve block and the matrix guess values? Any help is appreciated. Thanks. The file is MathCAD 15.

I am using the find function to return solutions for a system of three equations. I understand that the solutions returned can be different based on guess values and tolernace of the solver. currently I cannot get the solver to return the correct solution. I am checking the solutions by using the outputs to recalculate one of the given equations.Is the find function not the correct way to solve for these variables? Should I be using arrays, or Max/Min of function. I am very new to Mathcad, and I am trying to use it to eventually input a matrix of ID, and Delta to return wall thickness (Ha) for various sizes.Thank You, and sorry for being a Noob.

I would like to split up a single vector into a table. I would like to take e.g. each time 8 data points and put the next 8 at the right side thus constructing a table. Apparently I am overlooking something evident could someone help me out? Thanks in advance (MC15)

I just began working for this company and we have around 2500 .MCD Files from Mathcad Plus 6.0.Mathcad Plus 6.0 works okayish on Windows 7, however printing makes it freeze.So I thought I would give the newest Version of Mathcad a try and wanted to convert one of those files to the new format as that seems to be neccessary.However the converter complains that I need Mathcad 15 installed on the system.So, it seems we are stuck with Mathcad 6.0 as there are no update files for this version.Any ideas?

Hello,I have converted a MathCAD file from an older version of MathCAD (where it worked beautifully) to Prime 2.0. In the process of converting the primary program that calls multiple sub-programs stopped working. I thought I had successfully fixed all of the errors, but now the whole program is outlined in red and MathCAD indicates that there is an error "Unknown Error: mpl%_exception". Does anyone know what this means and how I can fix it? It seems as if other errors are the result of large programs running in MathCAD. Is that the case here? Input appreciated,Amanda

I am trying to make a template for my upcoming electrical examination. I am calculating the voltage drop in af transmission line and I would like to use either a matrice or a table to make it easy and eliminate the risk of faults.I have added a screen print of how I am doing it right know. I would like the fourth row in my table to be the sum of the above currents, but in the opposite direction. Is that even possible?Another thing I would like to know is if it is possible to use get the value for the area that I have marked with a circle?If needed I will upload the file to.

I have a model (compressible flow through o r i f i c e s in series) that utilizes a solve block to find the mass flow and pressures.  It works great for any single point analysis. I then tried to feed it multiple flow areas as a vector and haven't gotten it to work.  It's slightly unique in that I have an IF inside the solve block. I have tried to vectorize everything and rearrange the IF, all to no avail.PDF and 3.1 file attached.P.S.  I know that I can rework this to use the solve block as a function and call it that way to repeat calculations.  That's just not what I'm after today.P.P.S This is a dumbed-down version just to demonstrate the problem.  No need to correct my physics as I know they're off.Basically, I don't think Mathcad likes this IF inside solve block when trying to solve for a vector of inputs.
