Mathcad

Hello,I need some help regarding the unit °C in prime 3.1. In fact, when I extract the variable " Tjmax_D367" from an excel table created in Prime3.1 and when I want to define its unit which is °C, It doesn't work. The error is: "This value must be a scalar or a matrix"When I try it with the other variables extracted, it doesn't work too even if  The unit "V" and "K/W" work fine.I will really appreciate your help,Thanks in advance.Best regards,Nadia

Hi,I am creating a simple 2D plot, where I want to reverse the y-axis to be shown downward. Prime 3.1 sheet attached.In MathCAD Prime 3.1 -> How is it possible to inverse the y-axis to increase downward. Hence - top value on y-axis is 0 and bottom value is 500? Thank you in advance!Anders

Obtaining the minimum and maximum value in a matrix is easy due to you can use the functions min and max.but i need to obtain the matrix element that contains the minimum and maximum value inside the matrix.Thank you in advance,Rogelio

Has anyone done RQ factorization using the QR matrix function?I understand that this can be done using "row reversal" but I'm not sure how to proceed.

In the event of more than one birth year resulting in the same maximum number of prime years, what year was the first year such a mathematician could have been born in, and what year was the last possible year.In the first instance, you can include any (future) mathematicians born no later than this year (2016).You may assume in the second instance that the end date for the challenge is this year (2016), so any mathematician born

In Mathcad Prime 3.1 with Windows10 when I press the key "^" to raise to power, appears to me  the "if"  instruction. Can someone help me? @

the problem I have is about global assignment. Is there any other ways for me to use to calculate the max value without using the maximise function? I have used global assignment thru out the mathcad as it is needed for my summary in the first page.

Hello guys,   I'm doing a geometrical calculation program in excel, and for that, I'm using Mathcad to define the formulas.   For the last one, I have 3 known distances in R3, and 3 coordinates, and I want to find the last one.   So , the formulas are:     All the variables are input given, but (a, b, d), which are the last point coordinates (x,y,z).    I need to get the formulas, a, b, d only in function of the given variables.  So a symbolic solution someway like that:    a = t+ w-j +2 o.....    b = o+ n-j +2 w.....    c = w+ t-j +2 j.....   I'm very unexperient with Mathcad, so I don't know any function that could do this automaticly for me.

Hi, everyone. I´m trying to make a calculation with different inputs values. I looked on the forum but with my little experience I can´t made it yet. May be, my case is more simple than the examples. So I prefer to askMy input is a diameter particle (x). With that I need to calculate Ti, and with Ti obtain n. Which is an efficiency.Then, it will be excelent make a table with my inputs "x"  on a column, and the efiency "n", on another column. Finally, make a graphic with both.Also, I take this oportunity to ask. In the future I will need to find the minimal number of "x", which make the efficiency n=1. The calculation is for the efficiency of a cyclone to separate differents particles depending of their size. So, I want to know in parallel with the other calculation in the same sheet, the smaller particle which I can have a 100% efficiencyI know is probably very simple to do, but I cant.I attached my problem. To all,my Prime 3.1 version has stopped working like a fully version and does not allow me to use, for example programming on a calculation sheet.it happened already few months ago and it was solved with the help of some tech from PTC.they sent me the license file again, but i cannot discern what number of all the numbers that appear on the license file is the one that i have to use to re-activate again my license for Prime 3.1.this is really annoying.Still finding issues on Prime that i never had on Mathcad previous version.
