Hi,  When I try to solve ODE functions in mathcad I am getting this error. I saw a lot of solutions about this problem but couldnt fix it because my equations are too dependent to each other. Can you help me with the solution ? 

I am taking self-faced training to gain Mathcad skills (using Prime 6.0) In my worksheet, the variable is not accepting. I tries my best without success. So, looking forward to receive help from someone. Thanks a lot.    

Hi,        I need help with a certain problem. So I have done calibration on a set of instruments. The serial numbers as well as the calibration factors associated with them are given in the first 2 columns of the excel sheet. Now I am running all the instruments (I don't have cal factors for some) and I am getting a certain calibrator count as shown in columns F and G.   Now the issue is I need to compare the serial numbers of all the instruments with the subset to see which ones have cal factors associated with them. For instruments with cal factors, I need to multiply the cal factor (associated with that serial number) with the count for that particular instrument and output the result. So I need to write a mathcad program to output only the serial numbers of instruments with cal factors as well as the product of cal factor and count. I am attaching the excel sheet. I am using Mathcad Prime 6. Thanks for the help.

How do I do with Mathcad?   You are required to design and fabricate a continuous fibre reinforced composite material where the fibre is expected to take most of the applied load and is more rigid (brittle ) than the matrix. The composite will be used for aerospace application and should be able to functions at temperatures of about 140~180°c. Furthermore, it is needed to drill a few holes on your designed and fabricated composite material when it is used a part of an aerospace vehicle. Select the appropriate fibre and matrix. If the stress experienced by your selected matrix when the fibre reached its tensile strength is about 1/3(one third) of the tensile strength of the selected matrix, calculate;   1.Minimum volume fraction of the fibre   2.Critical volume fraction of the fibre   3.Calculate the volume fraction of the selected fibre if the designed and fabricate composite is expected to have a tensile strength of 1200

Hi,   I am writing a large matrix to excel and I try  to change the number of decimals it is writing to excel. I use the WRITEEXCEL function.    Is is possible to change the number of decimals before writing to excel?   Thanks in advance!

Hi, I am trying to solve the following double integral equation in Mathcad (Equation 17 extracted from tech paper). I get an "a name is required here" error when using the d(sin(q)2) i.e "d sine squared" in the differential. Can I use this d(sin(q)2)? Is there a trick to getting the syntax correct? Hi to allI am trying to extract values from an array named DATA and look them up in another called Table_1, and then do operations.By manually entering the row and variables of the DATA array, I get what was expected, but when I want to do it automatically, and have the data array be extracted and compared row by row, I don't get the expected results. We usually present results graphically, and XY plots are by far the most common format. Prime's XY plots really are garbage, so bad that they make our best work look amateurish. We users are professionals and this nonsense damages our reputations.What could PTC have been thinking, to release something like this as a product? Before I detail the horror, I have to acknowledge that PTC did make a couple of improvements: another line type (-...-...) and the ability to have more than two marker lines on the axes. I was glad to see them. Welcome as they were, though, they were far outweighed by the bad decisions.Some listed below. Anyone care to add to the list?* No boxed axes, no grid lines. The point of a graph is to display quantitative relationships within data. Prime XY plots don't support quantitative display because readers can't easily read values from the traces without grid lines or at least boxed, ticked axes on both sides. FIX IT!* No legends for the traces! This is weird, since

When Mathcad 15.0 opens it uses "Normal" as the default template. Is there anyway that a different template can be used as the default upon startup?

I am looking for solution how to fix this issue. I use Mathcad 15 to produce the documents in it. As front page in this document there is embedded Word document. Recently I lose this front page very often. In this situation when I open Mathcad document I always get an error message. I have noticed the first page is saved but it can not be open for some reason (I recognize it for Mathcad file size). I had this issue for long time but some time ago I found the solution for it. After opening Word in Mathcad I went to File menu and I did inspection of document and after finding some unneeded marks or other object and after removing them I could always open Mathcad document without loosing the first page. But situation has recently worsen after Microsoft has updated their Office applications and I now the most time I lose the first page I can not do anything with it. Has anyone heard about this issue and maybe someone knows the solution for it? I will appreciate for any help.  

I have a function where in a form of f(x):=1*x+3. I was trying to use clear(..) function to this clear the this function[clear(f(x)] like I do with the rest of the variables. But then MathCAD gave me error red box around the and said "A variable name is required here". What exactly happens here and is there a way to fix it? Thank you!

Hello,   I am returning using Mathcad Prime after a hiatus, and I have a simple system of equations to solve for. The system will become more complex with more output variables, but I want to incrementally build into those relationships.  Initially, I want to solve for Fact in terms of the other variables.  This could clearly be re-arranged algebraically by hand, but I would like Mathcad to do it.  However, it will not solve. Any ideas? I have clearly missed something obvious.

Hi, perhaps this humble work is more interesting to call it "Pulses & waveforms" than to use it as an example of using references to files, as already done some time ago.
