Mathcad

Hi to all,   In the attached (MCP3) file, can anyone give me some suggestions on how to get a better plot of f(x)? I have tried varying splines but the plot is quite erratic toward the end where as I would expect it to be quite uniform.   Thanks,   Andy

Hello folks,   currently I'm using Mathcad's built in function localmax. It is a great function but it yields too many false positives and in some case (see attached file) also outright false ones.I've fiddled around with the window size but the results are not very convincing. Does anybody know how to improve this?   Thanks   Raiko

Hello Everyone,  im trying to match normal and weibull distribution. The probability density and inverse cumulative probability distribution for probability of 0.25 for both distributions should be equal. I have to find two Weibull parameters (3rd parameter = 0). I´ve tried solve block but its not working.  Can someone help me?

Guten Tag   Ich hab eine Datei diese ist noch von meiner HTL Zeit. Ich finde nun keine Möglichkeit das man die Datei umzuwandeln in eine xmcd. Ich weiss das ist nicht eure Aufgabe aber ich finde momentan keine andere Möglichkeit. Bitte euch daher höflichst mir zu helfen.

Do you know these curves? I cannot find any information ;-( If we nave two points (focuses) we have an ellipse, a hyperbola, a Cassini oval or Circles of Apollonius But we have one point and one line!

It has been a really long time since I've used the software.  The following is in Mathcad 15.  For the life of me, I cannot remember how to solve for the answer(s) of a function.

how to plot repeated value ? Eg: for example i want to plot sin wave, i have values for 0-90 degree and i want to plot for 90-180 degree by reversing same data and so on till 360 degree or (0 to 2pi).   In the 1st graph, AA=[0,0.99,0.98,0.97,...1],size of AA is 20and i'm just repeating by modifying same data "AA"

Why was MathCAD Gateway abandoned so quickly by PTC?

I'm looking at pipe flow in a series/parallel configuration.  Each pipe/flow/head is an index.  It works if I type in all the head loss equations individually, but I'd like to use a loop to automate it.  But, Mathcad doesn't seem to like it.   This works:   This doesn't work (no solution found):   Any way to get it to work? Hi, im using mathcad prime 4 and I have´some problems with the following equation. This i This is my input values: d=314 [mm] b=200 [mm] pl=0.006 [Unitless] Cr=0.12 [Unitless] k=1.798 [Unitless] fck=30 [N/mm^2]   V=[Cr*k*(100*pl*fck)^(1/3)]*b*d, this equation gives me the unit [kg^(1/3)]*[m^(5/3)]/[s^(2/3)] but i want in to be in the unit N. I've tried to use [MPa] as a unit for fck and tried to write the unit manually but it doesn't work          

I am new to Mathcad, and am using Mathcad 15 for the moment. I am taking note as I read through my Physics book and want to enter the equaition for linear motion (single dimention). If I enter the following,     and     The error, "A name is required here". I tried defining the above as:     Which is equivalent, but, less desirable in my case. I found a thread a couple months ago while searching for a shortcut for Celsius on Mathcad Prime 4.0   The best solution was a shortcut that opens the Units drop down list, which then only requires one mouse movement (or none if that unit is where I leave my mouse) or a few arrow keys.   I've forgotten this shortcut and cant find the thread. Does anyone know this shortcut?
