Mathcad

using Prime 2.0.  i "include" a sheet with a simple program (attached).  it works fine in the original sheet but the sheet that is trying to "include" it complains that there is an error in this sheet.

Hi, I'm trying to get to grips with MathCad Prime, I'm using my old college notes and trying to recreate the solutions to example problems in Mathcad as a way of learning the tool. I'm struggling with the below 'kind' of problem. I used to love working in this kind of notation, i.e. dot-derivatives, unit vectors, etc. makes it quick and easy on paper. I'm wondering what are the best techniques in Mathcad to use to recreate this solution approach in mathcad and work through the problem?i, j, k are unit vectors in x, y an z directions, gamma(dot) is a rotational velocity or derivative of gamma which is the rotation angle.

HiAnyone knows if it is possible to return a nested matrix from a custom function i.e. I want to build a function that has a return value similar  like the built in LU(M) function.

Recently everytime I try to print in Mathcad Prime 3.1 Student Edition it comes up with a dialog box that says "PTC Mathcad Prime 3.1 has stopped working a problem caused this program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." It force quits without allowing to save every time I try to print any worksheet or xps document. I have tried a full uninstall and reinstall. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

I have an equation like det((-a^2)*M+S)=0, where M and S are matrices. How can I find the two solutions (the two roots) for a? It will be a biquadratic equation, and I need the two positive roots of the four. I've tried it with a solve block, but I could only one root calculated.  Thanks a lot!

HiIs it possible to put "labels" below bars in a bar chart, to indicate what they represent? I believe I stumpled upon some kind of workaround some time ago, but I'm not able to find it again.Thanks in advance

Hi all,This is my first post on the forums and I wanted to ask a general question on gaining proficiency in Mathcad.In a nutshell, I am an experienced Project Engineer by profession (mainly mechanical & structural bias) but in order to widen my skill set, I have recently been training part-time in Finite Element Analysis, which I enjoyed immensely. To complement this, I asked my colleagues which packages would best complement my new skills in FEA and ANSYS software and Mathcad was one which came highly recommended. With all of this in mind, I wanted to ask if any of you can offer advice and hopefully point me in the right direction (ie. training courses, PDFs available online) so that I can work on Mathcad from the ground up. I am completely self-financed and so I am looking to do this on a tight budget, but I am motivated and can devote more than enough time to making this happen. Hi......I am attempting to create a single vector from a two column array. The fist column contains the values  and the second column the occurrences associated with each value. I have attached a worksheet , in MathCAD 15,  that shows what i am attempting to do. I can solve the problem by performing each row of the array separately but hit a snag when trying to program the same. In the attached worksheet there is a plot error (Plotting failed. Replace complex values and NaN by real numbers.) I've tried using failterNaN to remove the NaNs. Is there a way to remove the complex results?

Dear PTC experts, i would like to ask your invaluable pertinent to the attached file. In this problem, i am evaluating Zpq for a frequency (f:=2.45*10^9), the value of Zpq turns out to be complex and i have seperated the real and imaginary parts. I would further like to evaluate Zpq for a frequency range i.e., from 2.2*10^9-2.6*10^9 with step size of 0.5*10^9. Moreover, i would like to plot Zpq against the mentioned frequency range. Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated. Many thanks

hey lads, attached is my picture again. I cant post the sheet due to certain calculations. And my main problem is that I am using global assignment for definition as I needed to show a summary of checks from the back of the sheet at the front page. My main problem is if I could global assign the angle that I used the FIND function to calculate. The blue highlighted area are the parts where I have to manually input the angle. I want to global assign so that the next user does not need to manually insert the angle.
