Mathcad

I have imported excel data and made column vectors from data. When I try to multiply elements with an index beginning somewhere in the range I get this.Why do I get zero values and how might I eliminate this behavior?Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there I am using Mathcad Prime 8.0 and Excel 365 32-bit. I have a Mathcad Prime 8.0 sheet (converted from Mathcad 15.0) that sends input e.g. NPS:=2.5 into an Excel component and extracts dependent output data. It appears that if I change the Mathcad parameter to e.g. NPS:=8, Mathcad updates the input inside Excel, but Excel does not auto-calculate. Excel apparently only auto-calculates if I force re-calculation through CTRL+F5 from Mathcad, or if I open the Excel component and force re-calculation (e.g. Calculate Now) I have Auto Calculation and multi-threading enabled in Mathcad, and Calculation Options set to Automatic in the Excel component. Has anyone seen this before and know how to enforce auto-calculation without using CTRL+F5? E.g. write a macro inside the Excel component that triggers auto-calculation? However, it looks like a bug. Thanks.

I'm wondering how write a program to add additional rows to a matrix, where the values of the elements are calculated according to a formula using existing data within the matrix. The attached Excel file includes a tab with input for the ReadExcel function, as well as a tab showing the desired output by a writexcel function. Essentially, the matrix is a list of node point IDs with force vectors due to six load cases. Each node ID will have the same number of load cases and the input will be always sorted by LoadCase column. I would like to add new rows for each node ID, namely 7 OPEPOS and 8 OPENEG, using a specific formula which pulls its input from the existing data within the matrix. Input for the readexcel function:Desired output by the writexcel function:Rows 8, 9, 16 and 17 should be added by the formulas:FR is the force resultant.Just as a note, I have currently MathCAD Prime 8 and unfor

I have a long workshheet with a few  red or black two colour plots. When I save as PDF some of the red traces show as black. I have been very careful with Plot positions and spacing.  I have tried saving from the Math tab and the Document tab. Is there some official guidance?

Dear all the reason of my posting is an failed conversion of a MathCAD 15 file/model to MathCAD Prime 7.0In particular this Model contains a quite complex differential equation, and after using the converter the new MathCAD Prime 7.0 model output an error on the command line which should start the solver (in this case it is the rkfixed, but the same error occurs also with other solvers. The red mark of the error is put on the "D" of the beforehand differential equation, the error report is (in german) "Ein_Aufrufziel_hat_einen_Ausnahmefehler_verursacht." This means something like "a call target has caused an exception error" (I do not know the exact error description in the english version).As MathCAD 15 is terminated by the supplier, we need a solution to further operate this MathCAD model. Attachment: The MathCAD 15 file and the MathCAD Prime 7.0 file after conversion. Hi!Is there a way to make a filter based on comboboxes ? i.e. I want to be able to filter "Type" and "Version" so that the end result is a matrix i can plot I used vlookup to easily filter "Type", but not sure how i can incoorporate the "Version" filter? (I've attached my sheet, MCP 9) Thank you!  RegardsSNA    

Hello, Thank you for your time. I've recently downloaded MathCAD 6.0 and activated the 30-day trial. However, I was trying to open a .mcs file but failed. I've done my research and learned that this type of file (.mcs) was associated with MathCAD software, so it doesn't make sense if it couldn't work on .mcs files. Please let me know if there is any solutions. Looking forward to your reply.

A=Q/U*T should give m^2 , where Q= heat capacity in kW, U heat transfer coefficient W/m^2*K, T is temperature difference in K.  The area I am getting is in Kg^2. Why?  

Good morning, I spun my wheels on this for a while yesterday, and now I'm looking for help. The attached file was created in MathCAD Prime 8.0. In order for it to work, make sure that the csv file and the mathcad file are in the same directory. What it's supposed to do is accept a csv file with a specific structure and convert it into a vector of properties with MathCAD units. It was supposed to be a short program, but I'm running into a bug that I can't seem to work around gracefully.  When I have the READCSV(filename) function inside of a program, my output has no units, but when I have my READCSV function outside of the program, it works.  I want the READCSV function to work inside of the program so that I can call multiple csv files and combine the properties of each, otherwise the purpose of my overly-complicated data entry experiment is moot. I am getting a new computer which can be upgraded to Windows 11.  I did not take the subscription service to upgrade to Prime 7.  I would like to continue to use Mathcad 15 and Prime 6.  Does anyone have experience on installing Mathcad 15 and Prime 6 on Windows 11?  I know neither are certified for Windows 11. Regards,

HiI want to calculate the maximum deflection of a structure subjected to bending. The deflection occurs within the buckling length, defined as the deflection within the points of inflection i.e. where M(z)=0. I have plotted the moment and the deflection in the attached file, but need further assistance finding the maximum deflection within the buckling length (see page 2 in the attached file).  Any help appreciated!

Mathcad prime 8 Are the worksheets in the structural design library able to be downloaded or are they suuposed to only be pdf files for reference?  Are they free/how to buy if not?  

 This has affected me again.  This has been a recurring problem.  I responded to Mitch G. and fully explained my situation.  He provided NO HELP.  Just sent me to a website that was no help. My 10 year-old PC is showing signs of failing. I still have my original Product Code and MED-60602-CD-150_M050.zip file, as well as the unzipped files, plus my sales receipt indicating my license is perpetual for my academic version of MATHCAD 15.  I also have my original license file. Apparently, MATHCAD 15 cannot be re-installed with all my above original information without having to contact PTC; it will this be another painful process? I have been using MATHCAD since well before PTC took over.  I think I started with MATHCAD 3, definitely before MATHCAD 6.  After PTC took over MATHCAD, the licensing and installation were the most painful, convoluted processes I have ever encountered with newly purchased software. I guess I am out
