Mathcad Installation

Hi all, I've got an issue with licensing MathCAD 7 Prime. When starting MathCAD 7 Prime, only the express version shows up. After selecting the correct license in the License Utility, the utility software states, that MathCAD 7 Prime was successfully activated. After closing the utility, MathCAD 7 Prime restarts in the express version again while showing the dialog to enter a valid license. Looking into the file C:\ProgramData\PTC\Mathcad Prime\MathcadPrime.exe.V7.Config, the property "LicenseType" is set to "NoLicense". Entering the license using the license manager was tried in two different ways. With directly providing the license file and with a license server. The result stays the same, the utility software states a successful activation. After MathCAD restart, no license is active... Is there any logging for the licensing process of MathCad 7 Prime available? Thanks

Dear Mathcad TEAM,I recently wanted to install the license server. However, the license server keeps telling me, that there are no issues to server in my license file. I am using Mathcad Release 15.0 and DatecodeunknownTests for Mathcad: KO=> Mathcad v15 does not work, the server is reacheable (log trace) but the license is not present in the license file. It works with Prime versions.

I have a valid license but I never got an email with a "product code", so I can't even request support.I have two emails, neither has a "customer number".My end goal is to view this page https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/cs306408 . I just purchased a license.

We are trying to convert Mathcad 15 files to Mathcad Prime 9.0. When we complete the conversion we have lost some functionality with the files, such as with control objects (radio button, check boxes, drop down menu). This portion of the files are removed during the conversion. Is there a way to convert these functions or can we purchase Mathcad 15?

I have a project for school and I needed a license for me and my teammate. I bought two licenses myself for an easier payment from the school but I only received one license and everything tells me that I've reached the maximum amount of license for this product. I sent an email to PTC a month or two ago but I never received an answer. Why can't I have the two licenses I paid for and how do I proceed to get the second one? The licenses I bought was for the MathCad Prime 9.0.0.0.

Mathcad prime 9 wont open past the splash screen, and closes afterwards. Ive looked the problem up on forums which suggested i delete the config file, didnt work either. Do you have any idea on how to fix the problem?kind regards

Hi, I have a perpetual license of Mathcad Prime 3. Now I am trying to install Mathcad on my new PC, but the only version I can find available for download on PTC's website is 9.0. I tried to activate my license on that, but as expected it did not work. Following the recommendation given in a similar thread in this community, I also tried to contact the vendor (digitalriver.com) who sent me the license back in 2014, but it seems like they no longer work with PTC. Can anyone from PTC guide me on how to install Mathcad Prime 3 on my PC? Best,Felipe

I can not install MathCadPrime Version 7, but I need it to exchange data with my colleagues. This is not about the trial edition. It is about the real edition of MathCadPrime 7. The failure message is: "Nicht zulässig".

As we are expanding into other areas of the world, we will need Mathcad licences covering both Europe and Asia. Is it possible to do this with one set of floating licences? Or, do we need to have one licence server for each country/region?

Hello, my company has bought 4 student licences for MathCad. I have created an account and am trying to download the software but keep getting the message 'Our records indicate that your company does not have a current PTC Global Support agreement' and the SON is not associated with customer number, can you assist please. I have tried clearing my web browser cache etc but nothing is working.ThanksAndy

I am trying to install 30 day trial of Mathcad from my company server, but when I click on "acquire license" it shows the error "program ID already expired". How can this be resolved?

Hi, I have purchased a student version Mathcad Prime 9 Student Edition License. HelloI need help at activating mathcad prime 9.0. Good afternoon   I was trying to re-install Mathcad 15 (purchased 2012?) ... when I purchased new computer approx 5 years ago...I didn't have much success re-installing using "downloaded Setup  (mathcad_15_0_EN_M010_Setup.exe file....so I just used my  Mathcad 14 disc version.   Currently ... I have another computer and ...instead of  deleting install program "stuff" ... I thought I would try once more.   my product code is:    MP010201EA6466-743K-3FKX    On PTC.Setup - Mathcad 15.0 (M010) setup screen ,... I get to screen that says "select Product to be installed"  with options to select "Mathcad" or "PTC Liscense server"    When I select "Mathcad"  i get error message :  You are running Windows XP, but do not have Service Pack 2 (SP2) or higher installed ...etc... this is a minimum system requirement for Mathcad15.0 M010 please upgrade your system.   I am running windows 10   

Is there a way to set the Mathcad language? I'm German and have a German Windows system and would like to use Mathcad in English with English spelling checks. Is that possible?
