Hello,I am building a PoC, for Manufacturing plant, on top of AMU where we need readily available API documentation (Service and Thing details) to get the data, for exampleHow many machines have active alarmsWhat is the total downtime/Part Produced in a plant/AreaDowntime by Category in a plant/area etc. Note: I have already seen below links and there is not much technical details available:https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx_applications/r9.5/en/index.html#page/thingworx_applications/welcome.html#https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx_applications/r1.0/en/index.html#

Hello ,I have installed AMU and also uploaded the Excel Sheet. In Configuration>>EquipmentI am facing an  issue. I am no able to save the changes made in asset monitoring PFA

I have CWC 9.5.0 installed. How to do customization of Thingworx CWC 9.5.0.I have checked https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx_apps/r8.5/en/index.html#page/thingworx_apps/ThingWorxAppsCust/customizing_the_thingworx_apps.html.But this was not useful. because [PTC.Factory.C_LaunchPointConfigurationThing] this entity is not found on composer.

Hello, I would like to create a building block just like production Dashboard in DPM. For this I have created a building block using Solution Framework and imported PTC base and Production Dashboard but not able to view it, Am I missing any steps. I want to make a custom mashup which UI will be slightly different but functionalities will be same as DPM production Dashboard.   Regards, Atharva

Hello All,I have installed DPM, in production dashboard we are able to good quantity manually. Is there any way we can upload good quantity with help of kepware  Regards,Atharva

I am trying to use the mfg data import block to import data in the DPM. I am facing errors while I am trying to import the excel file. It gives me error that some rows have failed to import. Can some tell what is the exact way to import the data in DPM.

Hello everyone. I have trouble to manage Job Order Model in thingworx.  The error massage is "EQ_Nukon6[JobOrderModel_MainService] Parameters - OldValue: OldValue,NewValue: 3,newValueTimestamp: Fri May 17 2024 08:44:45 GMT-0000 (UTC) : equipmentUID - 244 did not return any ProductionPathsUID" I looked up the documentation and KPI's page says that we can manage this table.I'm asking that while we set up equipment assignment in RTPPM's setting page, do thingworx manage the connection  betweetn tables or do we do it manually.

I have installed CWC 9.5.0 but while configuration it was showing error code 50000 and installation get aboard.Check attached error screenshot.

I have been looking in the Help Center and the PTC Community on how to uninstall, remove or delete TWX Apps (AMU 2.0.3) and based on an article from 2023 this is not supported by PTC. Is this still the case? Please advise. ThingWorx HA 9.4.1 Resources:No mentions on how to uninstall AMU in the Help CenterWelcome to the ThingWorx Applications Help Center (ptc.com)One community post from 2020 that seems to be related to the old Mfg Apps (Asset/Control Advisor, etc.) Solved: Problem in deleting the ThingWorx manufacturing ex... - PTC CommunityOne article from 2023 stating that PTC does not support the removal of ThingWorx Manufacturing Apps/ThingWorx AppsArticle - CS324483 - Uninstalling ThingWorx Manufacturing Apps/ThingWorx Apps from ThingWorx Platform (ptc.com)

Is it possible to be in the mashup screen and use a button or command that takes the user to a specific AMU or RTPPM screen?

has anyone integrated the AMU dataset in Thing Worx analytics for predictive analysis use case?has anyone came across such use case where there is requirement like this?in PTC release advisor i didn't find any compatibility of AMU and Thing Worx analytics.if anyone can answer this, that would be great help. to continue to this, is it possible to integrate DPM dataset to Thing Worx Analytics for model training?

We are using Thingworx  9.3.2-b411 version. We required CWC (Connected Work Cell) application. But we can not getting it on PTC download software. Check attached image

Hey, I'm new to Thingworx and I was studding on how to use the CWC extension and got a problem and few questions about it.Firstly the problem,1. I'm trying to execute a work instruction created on CWC, I’ve done all steps and when I’m trying to start the work instruction from the execution tab, I’m getting the error "Serial number already started on another station of the same work cell". I'm the only one using the system and never started any work order. 2. Also when selecting the work station on the plant I’ve created based on the explanation on how to fill the spreadsheet, it show an error that "equipment 'bottling machine 1' is currently in use by .". Any ideas on where's the problem? Then to the questions,1. I've seen on another post here that I need to configure ProductionEventQuantity and WasteEventQuantity values to a work station, there is any way to see that on the UI? All I see on the equipment tree (Configuration: Equipment page) is name, Equipment

We're in the process of obtaining a license for Manufacturing Apps. In the meantime, can we test the trial version on a Windows 7 desktop machine?

i have installed AMU in server with one database instance on MSSMS. Now i want to install CWC on same server with some database. As per Documentation Of PTC help center, We can same instance for both or We can use two different database instance for both apps. I want to know what's the best practice to follow in such scenario? Should i keep same instance or different for AMU and CWC

Hi all,   I am trying to connect/Integrate  Thingworx application "connected work cell" CWC to the Thingworx server 9.3.0. So anybody could provide the solution.   Thanks KSM

Hi,I'm trying to install AMU package (2.0.3) over twx 9.4.1 but, it always crash at step 'Install Applications - Installing applications'. As i've searched for, it's similar to 'Article - CS395732', however i've already checked all the prerequisites for SQL server as mentioned in article. Is there anything that could be done?Thank you. ---- Install Applications - Error Code: 25002CORE Creating database: PTC.SCA.SCO.MnfgCommonDatabaseInstaller.CreateDatabase : Failed to execute InitData of PTC.SCA.SCO.DefaultGenericManager (com.thingworx.dsl.exceptions.DSLRequestProcessingException: Execution error in service script [InstallApplications_INS] :: Execute Query failed. Hello everybody. To create custom menus in Thingworx Apps we need to create records in 3 tables, as written in "https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS405431?source=search". They are menucontext, menu and menucontextlink. The first two tables have fields related to tokens. The menucontext table has the displaynametoken and descriptiontoken fields. The menu table has the fields displaynametoken, descriptiontoken and shortdescriptiontoken. The thingworx apps manual talks about some of these tokens very superficially. The menucontext table fields are not difficult to understand. But the others...Could anyone tell me where each of these tokens are used?ps. This doubt is also valid for icons. Where are they used? What are your sizes?Any help will be appreciated.Thanks.

Hi,After Core and RTPPM Model configurations are finished, I realized that I can't edit advanced settings of any equipment. What did I miss?

I'm trying to install AMU in top of a clean Thingworx installation. I'm obviously trying to get the latest version of every component so I downloaded Thingworx Foundation 9.3.12 and AMU 203 (SP9). According to the Apps documentation, the latest supported version of Thingworx is 9.3.5 (released in October 2022). I ignored this message assuming that later versions would be supported over a year later (my mistake). The thing is: When trying to install AMU it fails and gives me the message that only Thingworx up until version 9.3.7 is supported.. so which one is it? To add insult to injury, a colleague installed AMU on top of Thingworx 9.3.9 a couple of months back (I checked the version myself). I haven't been able to find updated release notes on the latest version of AMU to check the supported TWX versions and as I'm describing, there's some conflicting messaging. Can anyone clarify?

Hi,  I hope this message finds you well. I'm new to the Thingworx SCM - I have tried to install EMS & Lua in same local machine for exploration and after that I have tried to deploy the demo package in local machine but i couldn't able to track it. In Track Dempolyment Page its showing some error message of "Unable to Invoke Service QueryDeployments on TW.SCM.TrackDeploymentsThing: Could not count Entries for deployment Could not get Entries due to null" . But the package  was migrated to end devices. Can anyone please help me to sort out this.  Thanks & Regards,Arun C

Looking for a way to send automated daily emails with the KPI Reports from RTPPM. I have a VP that does not want to log in to ThingWorx. What's the best way to accomplish this? I imagine I can create a service to do this but was curious if there was an easier to accomplish this (perhaps a "built in" feature of RTPPM?)

We've been trying to set up a RTPPM lab which will be used to deliver a solution for OEE calculation to our customer, we've been experiencing several issues and error messaging. We don't know how to solve the shift invalid configuration problem. thingworx 9.3rtppm 2.0.2
