I have version 19 installed on my PC with Win 7. I want to upgrade to Win 10.  I don't know which release of version 19 I have but the files are dated Sept 2014.  I don't know how to find out which release I have.  Do I have to have a certain release of ver 19 to work with Win 10?   Any recommendations about upgrading to Win10?This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hi folks,   I am using Creo Elements / Direct Modeling Express.  I am trying to loft through three profiles on three workplanes in a workplane set.  The profiles are fairly simple shapes with four vertices each.  But one of the workplanes is perpendicular to another one and one edge of the profile on one is coextensive with one edge of a profile in another workplane (and I think that may be causing a problem).  Anyway, when I try to create an appropriate matchline I get an error message which says: "If a vertex lies in another workplane, a vertex must be at the same position in the other workplane."  I don't know what that means and cannot create a loft between the three profiles on the three workplanes.  What must I do to create this loft?  I have attached a drawing with the three workplanes so you can see what I am talking about.   Thanks in advance,   VincentThis thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team. Hello everybody ! First post and i'm not a native english speaker so if there are some mistakes i apologize for this.   I have a problem about machining counterbore in CoCreate Modeling 17.0..easy for you but hard for me   when we want to create counterbore hole a dialog comes out which needs too many parameters(workplane. counterbore diameter .counterbore depth. diameter.....), it's too intricate and the counterbore hole is standardized..so I make a customized toolbar as you see the attachment, and you needn't input the paremeters above,just choose the point where you want to put......   but here's the problem, I can't find the function for making counterbore hole in IKit... is there a function or other record lisp like "EXTRUDE"."C_CIRCLE " ect.   PS:  I've viewed too many topics on the website:http://www.cocreateusers.org/forum/ but i have no idea why i can't register on that forum and it's a bit difficult situation about my not well english.   Thanks

Hello,   it would be nice if there is a snap command when I move lines or dimensions. That could be a square like in other CAD-programs. Hi I am new to Modelling Express this seams an obvious question but how do I drill a hole in an existing model. I have an STL from a manufaturer for a simple ABS plastic box consisting of 6 parts the base, the lid and the 4 screws. My question is how do I drill a hole in the base I have created a workplane and drawn a circle but I cannot seem to create a hole in the one side of the box. If I use punch it goes through both sides of the base. When I look online there is only reference to the drill command which is not present in modelling express. Does someone know how to inquire the :base_face, :flat_origin and :flat_direction of a flat view in annotation. I tried to do it with (sd-am-inq-view), but I can't find these things. We already create one flat view, but we want to have a sheet with a second flat that is completely the same like the first flat. I am using Creo Elements/Direct for the first time.  I am attempting to do the initial quickstart project (create an interlocking block).   I am having difficulties drawing a rectangle on the workplane.  I am at the step where the following message appears in the lower left corner: specify the first corner point of the rectangle.  Clicking on the plane does nothing, and holding the left mouse button while dragging the mouse does nothing. I know that I can use the Project 2D Edge command to copy from one workplane to another. But as far as I can tell, I have to select each element individually. I have tried box selecting elements, but I have not been able to get it to work. Is there a way to quickly select multiple 2D elements to copy from one workplane to another? (I have a workplane with over 50 elements that I need to copy.) Guten Abend,   kann mir jemand sagen wie ich den Zeichnungskopf mit Text füllen kann? Automatisch wird wohl nur der Name des "Parents" und die Sheet Nummer eingetragen. Ich würde gerne von einem Nullpunkt ausgehend kleine Aufbaumaße auf Kanten in Zusammenstell-Zeichnungen eintragen. Bei ME10 gab es eine Variable, mit dem man den Abstand der Maßzahl zur Geometrie auf "0" setzen konnte. Damit ließ sich beim Koodinatenbemaßen die Maßzahl frei in der Zeichnung positionieren. Gibt es so etwas auch für den Annotation-Modul in Creo-Elements? Hi Folks,   I am using Creo Elements / Direct Modeling Express. I like it a lot in some ways. But I find that I am spending quite a bit of time repeatedly fixing things that seem out of place or not quite in the right position. Parts that I thought I had snapped properly into place when I later look closely are not really in the right place. Parts that I thought had been put in place with faces at right angles to other parts, turn out later, when I look closely, to not really be at right angles. I will sometimes use the "mate" and/or "align" functions to make the corrections. That works but I am spending much time correcting these types of things. I used to use AutoCAD and I don't remember this problem with that program (or at least it was less common, to the best of my recollection). Creo Elements so far it is similar to CoCreate One Space V17, however in CCV17 there were 2 each 3D commands (Turn) would add a solid material via working geometry around an Axis and you would indicate the circular degrees and Bore would do the opposite by removing the material. I see the turn command is still there in Elements but Bore is not, or at least I haven’t found it. For instance if I had a cylindrical object and I wanted to create an O-Ring groove around the outer diameter assuming I created a working geometry at the cylindrical axis and wanted to remove that material. What would the command be? I could create a path on an adjacent workplane and sweep (Remove Material) the geometry. However that is a lot of work considering the (bore) command used to work perfectly in CCV17.
