Hi,I have a service that I am utilizing to save files, I have a remote thing written in C# calling it. Among the fileName and type, I also have the fileData as a parameter of type string, this string is a base64Encdoded blob (byte array).When I run the base64Encoded byte array througth base64DecodeBytes, I get this error:  JavaException: java.lang.Exception: Unable To Convert From org.json.JSONObject to BLOB Basically, I am doing something wrong, how do I decode a base64 string into it's underlying byte array so it can be saved with saveBinary? What I think is odd is that the error talkes about a json object, when the FileData parameter is a text type and is a base64 string, When trying to send the byte array as a string in the json request and sending the file into the saveBinare function, I get this error: JavaException: java.lang.Exception: Invalid lengthKindlyOskar Berntorp

I've developed over the years habits of separating various property changes into different xconf files that are referenced in site.xconf. For example, I have the following: configuration.xconf - For any value changes from the defaults, security label configuration, etc. customization.xconf - Registered Data Utilities, listeners and other customizations. wvs.xconf - Any properties changes that related to WVS service and wvs.properties. My goal was to keep site.xconf small and very close to static from when it was modified during the upgrade.  There are ConfigurationRef lines that bring this custom xconf files into the site.xconf to they propagate properly via xconfmanager. Recently, I needed a new xconf file (I think) for integrations. This would store username and password values for various custom integrations to other systems and databases. As per the original post.    Why is this the workflow instead of just copying the pattern itself? Seems very extra. I'm glad you've mentioned this simplification, however. If you follow PTC's intent in Article - CS297897 it instructs an extra pattern required if you use Publish Geometry instead of just grabbing the original feature like you have.

Hi, I am trying to add dimensions that are not available at the 3D model level to use "Show Model Annotation". I am having issues with their placement. For the ordinate dimension in the picture attached, you can see majority of the holes have the dimension properly attached at their centers and are adjustable between max, center, and min. In the two holes outlined in red, their attachment is to the vertex between the two arc surfaces that make up hole features. I can't find a pattern to when it decides to snap to the vertex attachment and it makes it very annoying to work. I have to be very careful to ensure attachment is correct for each since there's no repeatability to the attachment.  I've found the same issue when dimensioning between fillets. It's arbitrary when it attaches to the fillet center or max versus the vertex of the fillet surface curve. Very annoying to need to repeatedly generate the dimension until I get it to attach properly.

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.2.0I'm unable to edit sketches. When attempting to define any sketch (stand alone, for extrusion, revolve, section, etc.) by editing dimensions, the dimension will open for editing, but will close again immediately before I can type in new value. Hello , when I open Creo , Folder browser is opened in another window but I want it docked to Creo as per below image. I tried option of  File > Options > Window setting > Browser settings *un ticked expand browser during startup* which made the 2nd window containing Folder browser disappear without showing on creo tree. Hi everyone.  I am trying to add Affected End Items to a "Problem Report" report with Report Builder (Windchill PDMLink 11.1).  I have successfully done the same for a "Change Request" report using the below guide but this does not work in the same way for Problem Reports.  Can anyone help?  I need to know what kind of join and any additional tables to go between the Problem Report table and the Part Master table. (This is the link to the guide for Change Requests -> Affected End Items which works well.)Affected End Items Part Master Report (ptc.com) Thanks! Francis.
