Hi all, I am looking for possible options to export and import a BOM Filter in Windchill. Is there any OOTB way to export a filter and import into another Windchill? Or do we have to manually create loader files?

I am new user to this PLM and am in this situation where our company has just migrated files from different Location into Windchill. It now hosts different Documents (word excel and PDF) and CAD Drawing files, but when the files were migrated, we keep it as it is. My goal is to relate different files from different folder based a Role's context (e.g. Engineering or Quality team). Essentially query the migrated files that is only related to this Group of People. Unfortunately, despite that this PLM has Folder to Role access Feature, limiting the Folders that can be accessed based different Teams is not an option right now because we don't have people to maintain that. Meaning every team can see every Folder. We also cannot use the Query Feature which supposed to create Global and Local saved views, which reduces the files being populated in the view OR create some custom view depending on the Role. Rearranging Files and Folder through automatic means might not be good as

Hello everybody, I have a very short question about generating a new attribute including a traffic light. I have created a new integer attribute with the following formula behind:   (state.state == “CANCELLED”) ? 0 : (state.state == “INWORK”) ? 1 : (state.state == “RELEASED”) ? 2 : 3   But when I try to save the changes I get the following warning: "Value entered for Formula is invalid." What am I doing wrong here? Many thanks!

Hi teamI tried 'Change Monitor' and getWindchill JSP Exception Nested exception is: java.lang.NullPointerException Change Monitor is available in Browse->recent products->some-product->Change Monitoror similarly by libraryor under Changes (between Recent Programs and Organizations)There are several report templates which seem to be part of the 'out-of-the-box Change Monitor' but they were not enabled. Got a strange one. This is impacting production and I know it was working last week. It does not matter which context and I can confirm this that multiple users get same error message when trying to access Change Monitor. When I looked this up, knowledge base articles talk about upgrades and upgraded OOTB change monitor reports. This a system that has been upgraded since 7.0 so its got history.   I have been looking into Problem Reports and building some new Query Builder reports to assist. I check and I did not accidentally touch those OOTB reports, all exist and I can run them successfully from Site Reports. Interesting that when I ran them to test, it now shows upgraded but middle column is modified date which has not changed recently. I know these were working last week. What changed over weekend is DB patching which does appear to have been successful. We added some customizations which needed to have tomcat cache cleared. We've done that often enough for it to be odd that

I am using Windchill Aerospace & Defense Release 12.0 and Datecode with CPS 12.0.2.0I was assigned as the Materials and Process Engineer responsible for a CR. When i tired to reassign the M&P Engineer to a team member, it assigned someone else instead. That person has shared that misassignments has occurred multiple times and we believe it may be a technical issue. I would like to reassign correct the Materials and Process Engineer.

Version: Windchill Risk and Reliability 13.0 Subject: License Recognition Issue After PTC Website UI Update Case Description: After installing the newly issued license file, some modules that were previously available are no longer activated. Detailed Description: I was previously using a license that included all modules. However, after the recent change to the license-related UI on the PTC website, the newly issued license no longer recognizes the Prediction, Weibull, and ALT modules, and therefore these modules are not activated.Although the new license file contains entries for the Prediction module, the module does not appear when the program is launched. Suspecting it might be an issue with the FlexLM version, I updated to the latest version and ran the program again. However, the issue remains unresolved. A prompt resolution to this problem would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a screenshot to help illustrate the issue.

Hi.I have a three-step wizard. On first two steps user can select wtparts and wtdocuments. On last third step the tree is created from previously selected objects.If user returns to first or second step to change selection of documents, how to refresh the third-step tree with new data?Thanks.
